Great spot to get soft serve, milkshakes etc during COVID-19 era. They have a service window so you don't have to enter the building. Plus the treats are tasty & they take cards. Most importantly, there is a sizable outdoor space compared to other nearby ice cream spots. Plus grass & picnic tables to safely enjoy treats and social distance!

      Produce Market -Garden State ...

Wouldn't you think this place would have an overflow of reasonably priced right off the farm veggies? Don't you think you'd be tripping over melons & peppers plus white corn & Jersey tomatoes.

You would think wouldn't you? I am used to great produce markets at "THE SHORE" so maybe I am spoiled but this place will now be an afterthought after I ended a phone conversation with a good friend lusting for sweet corn to top the grocers only to find corn picked a bit early (I grew up around corn farms.) and not much else.

They have an interesting soft ice cream concept of 20+ flavors but it looks like they blend flavoring into vanilla ice cream to create the tastes ... Eh I really did not want to be behind the curtain on this creation.

But a few people walked out smiling with baked goods so that was worth a star or two.

And, they say they have fresh deli items ... You mean other licensed establishments sell deli items that are old and moldy?

So label me very disappointed and give this outlet just two stars.

You wonder why they have no recent reviews? Well, I'd wondered about that for a lot of businesses on Yelp. So, I tried a few of these places, and discovered; there are good reasons. In the case in point; their prices are SKY HIGH, and there is no reason for it. What they offer is run-of-the-mill, ordinary stuff. I'm not saying it's not good. I'm saying; even if it is good; it's the ordinary good. It's not slap-yo-mama-this-is-worth-the-price good.

I have been going to this market for quite a few years. The fruit pies never disappoint and are well worth the $14.00. I have yet to try the ice cream and may give it a shot sometime during this Xmas Holiday.

The very best pies. Picked up a apple and pumpkin pie for thanksgiving. Had a line out side the store for pickup but we all know that's a good sign.

I was told how awesome the tomato pie is here. So I had to try it. They only make it when jersey tomatoes are at their peak of ripeness. I ordered one for $22 (!!!) and was told to serve it warm. It looked like a traditional pie. Had a nice flaky, buttery crust. I'm not sure what it had in it besides super thinly sliced tomatoes. It seemed like cheese, maybe ricotta. But there was something else that had a tangy flavor, maybe miracle whip (which I am totally against using ever in life). I just didn't care for it at all. I'm super disappointed too bc I wanted to love it. Esp for $22.

      Their version of tomato pie.

I've been coming here since it opened when I was little. I have fond memories of eating ice cream at their picnic tables. Today I love that it has a deli, produce, and even Yankee candle section. Their pies delicious too and a must for any special occasion. They have many different ice cream flavors to choose from as well.
