This place was ok but not really happy about the treatment I received last time I was here.

Course Conditions are Terrible and have been like this forever. RB Inn should be embarrassed at both the conditions and the price that they charged. Tee-box to greens are in terrible shape...Do not Golf here.

This course is in a bad state of decline. The owners apparently do not care as they siphon off money toward the other pieces of the property. First the driving range is embarrassing especially for a JC course and a resort. The mats are falling apart and there are about ten ball baskets. You are forced to go hunt for a basket to get your range balls. Then the mats look like something from a rural municipal driving range.
Second they struggle to maintain the course. The sand traps haven't been maintained as they have weeds growing and mud from over watering in the bottom. Not much sand left. Because of poor conditions you are forced to cart path only on 9.5 holes. They don't discount the golf, range or the cart rates.
Living in the glow of former glory. If they don't pay attention to all aspects of the golf experience they are going to lose it.Helpful 3Thanks 3Love this 2Oh no 1 - Don F.San Diego, CA63371Jul 8, 2023
Course is in good shape other than bunkers that need major attention. Hopefully this is planned for near term in order to bring this course back to its potential.

Course conditions do not live up to the price of the tee time. The bunkers are unplayable and some tee boxes really need some work.

This place is awful with no customer service. Have been at the driving range for a long time. No golf balls in the machine. Called pro shop and they were looking for someone to fill it. No one showed up. Tried to call back pro shop and they don't answer phone. Called resort operator and asked to speak to resort manager and was offered her voice mail. Then they tried to connect me with director of golf and got his voice mail. So no one here seems to care that there are no balls for the driving range. Terrible experience.

Still can't believe how rude and unprofessional golf shop employee Toby Mayfield was to us yesterday. We arrived yesterday December 29th 2022 for a 7am tee time. We had the membership and the booklet that goes along with it. Membership had recently expired but discount booklet clearly states expires 12/31/2022 as you can see on the attached pics. So we wanted to use the booklet but was still going to renew the membership for another year but due to how rude Tody treated us we chose to cancel our tee time and head to a Golf course where we felt more wanted and appreciated for our business. I've called Director of Golf Evan Buindo and left a Voicemail just so he's aware of the Experience.

I was very disappointed playing here at the public course. Way overpriced for the course conditions. Sand traps were all bad. Half the fairways were dirt. The tee boxes weren't in good shape. I've played local muni courses in better shape. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but left totally let down for how expensive it is. I value 18 holes were at like $40-$50.
Driving Range was way too small. Matts only. The only good thing is that range balls was only $5. By far the best value at this place.
The clubhouse and inn looked nice. I didn't stay here so can't comment on the hotel.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1 - Rhys M.Ontario, CA01Sep 16, 2023
The course is very terrible, they have been nothing but issues! A general manager called the police on my poor little son for walking across the course to get to his Grammys house! I can't believe this and plus the course conditions are terrible the bunkers are unplayable, the green is overly sticky, plus the prices are outrageous!

This is a heads up for anyone staying here. Secret charges for parking & room.
So!!! This is A golf course with a hotel. Looks great but it's only beautiful if you have money. I changed my room and was charged for it. I know normally personnel will let say something if additional charges are being added. When I was under the impression there are no charges additional to this room change.
And geez was charged for parking. It's $20 to SELF park; I was unaware of. I have three different tax's charges for the room.
We went due to a wedding and they asked everyone attending to stay at this place. This is only a one time thing & I will ever stay here again The employees are pleasant even when the guest is rude. That is why I give 3 stars.
PS Both the ice machines are unplugged or aren't working in The Garden building. I had the pleasure of walking to the front desk to get ice in the middle of the night upon trying to find an ice machine along the wayHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1
