This hotel is NOW Called ( Quality inn and Suburban studios extended stay by choice hotels)
Terrible customer service and roach infestation problem at this hotel. They charge a $150 CASH ONLY DEPOSIT upon check in and this hotel definitely isn't worth it. Crack heads standing outside all night and it's supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel but u smell weed and see everyone including the hotel staff smoking on and inside the premises smh. I would give this establishment a ZERO Rating and it looked suitable from the online pictures but the rooms aren't anywhere close to the conditions posted online.
Had to change rooms 5 times due to infestation and it being after midnight it was hard finding another room so I had to wait it out at this ghetto place. Also staff was very irritated that I wouldn't accept a roach infected room and acknowledged that the knew about the problem and didn't disclose this information prior to booking which is very unconsiderate, not everyone is used to living with those conditions. I'm by far not a fan and this stay was a waste of money. Never again

My boyfriend and I needed a last minute spot to go to Scarowinds, so we both chipped in some bucks and got a room here for 98$. I used to be a housekeeper and know how busy they can get and how corners can be cut. But omg. Bed sheets were popped. Hair was on both beds. One of them looked like they had poop flecks at the bottom. Nothing was dusted. There was hair all over the bathroom and in the tub. The fire alarm was dying so it beeped. All night long. There was literal shit on the wall by the toilet. The chairs were sticky and covered in cigarette burns and rips. The only decent thing I have to say about this place was the shower pressure was amazing. If we weren't so exhausted last night, we would have just went home after looking at this mess.

If there was a zero that's what I would pick. Pictures on the site must have been taken after they built the place. It was so ooooooo dirty. I could take off my shoes I saw roches I slept in the car the first night and had to leave the next day we couldn't park there cause we saw ppl doing drugs and walking around outside the room all the wee hrs of the night. Never again will I stay at this hotel pay the extra to stay at a5 star hotel. *****Never stay here*******pictures are lies and the good reviews must be workers posting them*****

rooms nice , no carpet nice, beds could be better noisy pillows nice , comforters need upgraded they are trying

Clean and inexpensive! Use you ur triple A membership to knock off a few more bucks too!

All hallways and doors are secured! Beds are firm yet plush and comfortable!! No bugs!

Pool is clean and tidy! Breakfast is FREE! (Included in the price of the stay!)

0 stars. This hotel should be condemned the stay was inhuman for $90. Nothing was clean!!! There was food and grease in the microwave, used towels in the bathroom, the water for the sink and the shower ran droplets, the floors left dirt on our feet, and the room had roaches and a dirty distinct smell. Everything was just DIRTY and FILTHY. Due to feeling dirty just sitting in the room a shower was much needed but unfortunately we could barely wipe ourselves off enough for our comfort. If I didn't have to drive so far I wouldn't have stayed at all but I definitely checked out way before 11 more like 8 a.m. Would never recommend. Nobody deserves a dump like this.

I'd give ZERO stars but alas, I cannot.

We approached this place with an open mind, attempting not to judge a book by its cover. At the counter, the woman had a terrible attitude. Replied to questions with a snarky attitude, seemed irritated when we expressed concern over locale. She had us pay up front which was whatever, even though the person we made the reservation through said payment was made upon leaving at the end of our stay. No biggie.

We found our room, determined to have a decent night. The couch in the room was covered in stains and even found stains in the bedding. We immediately decided not to stay. My husband went back down and requested a refund to which the woman said fine, that she'd have the authorization on the card cancelled. We left. Feeling better after noticing some sketchy people walking the grounds.

As we are arriving to another hotel my husband checks his account only to realize he had not only NOT been refunded or his payment cancelled, BUT he had been charged TWICE. So, back we go. The woman with the poor attitude, was unapologetic. She reacted as if this was not uncommon and we were pestering by investigating the charges. We'll be calling our bank in the morning but more than likely we won't see that money back for a least a few days.

I am a Choice Hotels FAN! I have never stayed at a hotel in the CHOICE Hotels chain that had be worried...but this one did.

Upon check in we asked the very nice desk clerk if there was only one way in and out of the property because our room was all the way around through a series of turns through the property. He began to say, "No we've had trouble in the past in this neighborhood so we had to block off the exit so there's only one way in and out". He then realized what he had said and backtracked a little to say "Not since I've been here has that type of 'trouble' occurred". We asked what kind of trouble and he said people in the neighborhood cutting through.

The room had a few little german roaches...being from Florida and surviving Palmetto bugs, these do not freak me out...but yeah...I didn't want to see them in my room. So we were worried about them getting into our luggage and then carrying them to the next location.

For some reason, there are capped off pipes hanging out of the wall in the room next to the door.

Neighborhood is iffy and we did not feel safe. Our car was packed to the top as we were driving to Canada for a convention...we took turns every hour getting up, going outside and checking the car to make sure no one was breaking into it. It was the neighborhood that had us worried.

Breakfast was fine and check in and out was very easy.

Literally disgusting. The floors don't even look vaccuumed. The bathroom is full of mold (ceiling, moulding, walls) the doors are full of dust. Even the beds look like the sheets weren't changed. I wish i could give 0 stars. I'm not a picky person but this is NASTY.

Just booked this hotel room with Hotel Tonight.com. It was clearly stated on there that pets were OK and there was no fee. I got to the hotel to check in and they told me that there would be a fee, $20 per night regardless of whether or not my dog actually did any damage. So taking a deposit that is refundable in case there is any damage is one thing however charging people a fee "in case" something happens is known as selling insurance. Do not stay here these people are liars and dishonest.
