Beautiful store: well lit, well stocked, wide aisles and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. I walked around after using their restroom facilities. Clean bathroom, adequately stocked, and in working order. I had to use a restroom, and Publix was nearby and safe. I'm glad I had to stop. This was a really nice store!
I was impressed inside and outside. Outside, I don't recall a nearby Publix having secure bicycle parking, or spots just for motorcycles. The signs about "No employee parking between signs" showed a deference to their customers. The store was busy, and everyone seemed to be adhering to CDC guidelines during this pandemic. My usual a Publix stores are 3 in Palm Harbor, nest my home. But I was in the area visiting a friend.
If you get a flu shot (Already??), remember to get your $10 gift card. And I wonder if I should take the mask off when using the ATM?Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sieraaj A.Saint Petersburg, FL110232854Dec 14, 2021
I live down the street from this Publix. I stop by to pick up some BOGO deals maybe once a week. Really like this location but the restrooms may need a little attention.

Only giving this location four stars as I didn't go inside, I did a curbside pick up. I checked in tgrough the app letting them know I was on my way, tge employee was in the parking lot waiting for me. She was very pleasant, loaded my order and I was on my way home lickedy split. I usually don't use this service as the pruces of all items are marked up. U received a $20 gift code from Publix if I purchased at minimun $50 via pick up ir delivery so I took advantage. The process was easy and rather painless. Not sure if I will use it again because of the up charge but nice to know it is an option. I think I would rather see Publix start their own curbside program, they have it outsourced to instantcart.

I love this store, especially since they rebuilt it. However, I have had SEVERAL bad experiences when ordering subs through the app. The first time I waited for over an hour AT THE STORE, and had placed my order through the app from my phone. I got there-no sub. Waited for an hour. It was during their sub sale, so I expected it to be crazy, but you think they would accommodate with more staff making the sandwiches?
The second time, my sub hadn't even been taking off the printer yet and began to even be prepared-I had placed the order 45 mins prior. This was NOT during a sale.
The new store is beautiful. But, the deli department needs more staff. The store manager made it right for me at the time, but I didn't go home with a sub.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dianna K.San Francisco, CA03Apr 8, 2020
I am so upset. I try to be patient with everyone who are also upset about the Coronavirus. I have ordered over $800 in groceries over the past three weeks. I was told your shoppers shop and then we are refunded the difference if it's another price and/or the difference. I have been overcharged every time. Our delivery person happened to give us our Publix receipt for the first time and our groceries came to 38.58. I was charged $58.58 on my debit card. My previous order was 275.00! I understand delivery fees and tip but that's ridiculous. I had 10 items... I have shopped at Publix for many years. I am 69 and terminally ill. To price gouge people who are most vulnerable is unacceptable. We have been asked not to leave our homes. I hope you can fix this.
Cordially, Linda K.

Out of all the Publix stores in St. Petersburg this is my favorite, and not only because it is located next to Little Italy pizza. Every time I shop here I run into the friendliest employees and it never seems to be overly crowded when I visit. I have ordered a few cakes over the years through their bakery and have always received excellent service and an excellent product. The deli department, my favorite part of the store, is always very clean (which is important since you can see everything going on back there) and they always seem to make my italian sub better than other stores. They also carry a specific type of rye bread I enjoy that other chains do not seem to stock.
The only downside I have encountered is there seems to be more shopping carts left in the parking lot than other stores, but that may just be coincidental timing. I also wish they had more free samples/people cooking items to try, but that may also just be a timing problem on my part. I have been shopping at this location for well over a decade and have never had a sub-par experience. Keep it up!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tyler N.South Tampa, Tampa, FL03Dec 12, 2019

Not over crowded however you'll still spend a lifetime here. Management really needs to speed up this experience not what I expect from Publix, save time and money and go to Aldi.

This is by far the best supermarket in the Tampa/St. Pete area. It is rather crowded at all hours so you'll be doing some shopping cart demolition derby at times, but it's worth it. Produce is amazing, the deli is incredible and the sales are great. Won't go anywhere else!
