PreFunk Beer Bar Nampa

Got there just before last call and glad we made it in! Extended draught list of regional beers, including Revision IPA from my hometown. Settled on an Imperial Stout from a regional brewery I had never heard of. Great beer!

Theron was the man of the hour! Enjoyed conversing with him and getting a lay of the land of the local beer scene. Super cool dude and look forward to tasting through the rest of their lineup.

This place is where it is at if you appreciate good craft beer. The selection is top tier and quite diverse. The owners were creative and dedicated to the establishment which made it a delight. No juvenile mentality allowed. This place is for the mature and affluent I suppose. Check it out! You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is very calm and cool.

Awesome laid back place with a huge selection of beers on tap. Great patio area and inside is nice and clean. Service was great.
No food served here, but we were allowed to bring in pizza slices from next door.

This is the second year in a row I've visited this awesome taproom in downtown Nampa. Very nice area with a historical feel. The beer bar itself has a very good variety of suds to chose from. We ended up having a hazy IPA from Epic Brewing called Citralush. Very solid beer my son and me both enjoyed it.

I ended up having a sour to finish off and it was amazing. It was Vlad the Imp Aler 2017 by Cascade Brewing.

If you are ever in the Nampa area looking for some good beer try this place out. It appears to be popular with the locals. They have a bottle/can area for take home.

A fan of PreFunk! My husband and I had date night and decided to pregame at PreFunk before headed to dinner. When we arrived I immediately decided to try the Huckleberry cider. My husband was having a harder time deciding what he wanted. The guy behind the bar wasn't too helpful, come to find out it was end of his shift.

When we went for another round the new guys behind the bar seemed more knowledgeable about the beer and found one my husband really liked. We enjoyed the vibe of this bar and can't wait to hang out on the outdoor patio in the summer!

Great selection and bartenders are pretty knowledgeable about what's being served. If you don't like nothing on top they also have a pretty good bottle selection

Great location in downtown Nampa offering up many great choices of brews. It's the closest place to me to be able to visit and have variety, and I live at least 25 miles away.

I have only really been here during the late afternoons on my days off, said not sure how the nightlife is. I can attest that I came here on St Patrick's Day, and growing up in a very Irish American town in Montana, was disappointed that Nampa didn't seem to celebrate the festivities at all! Oh well, the beer still tasted good.

They do have outside seating to take advantage of on nicer days, so if you are a beer enthusiast, give this place a go!

We love our downtown PreFunk! Nowhere better to start a evening on the town off or to finish one up at.
The beer selection is always great and features a ton of local and seasonal favorites. I'm partial to Old Rasputin on nitro which is neither local or seasonal but omg so freaking good!
We love what they've done inside but the patio on a warm night is really what brings us in. So inviting with the tables and lighting!

Huge selection of beer on tap from all over the world. A good selection on bottles and cans as well. I can always find something new and interesting if I'm in the mood or a tried and true option if I'm feeling less adventurous.

Staff it friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is warm and fun. I love that they are in our historic downtown.

Visiting hometown and saw this was a new bar that had opened. Didn't have high expectations for a hometown bar, but was very pleasantly surprised.

Amazing rotating selection of beers, both local and domestic. Very knowledgeable staff. And close to the Pizzeria down the way. Not better way to have a few drinks with some friends.
