Pizzoco Pizza Parlor

Best pizza spot in Winchester. I've tried about half of their house pizzas, and they are all great. The place is nicely renovated and is always spotless. Staff is attentive and friendly, and the outside patio is cool.

But I am writing this review chiefly to extol the virtues of the Bee Sting. Far and away my favorite pizza ever. Kudos and cheers to its creator, and may it always be available as is. It is perfect.

My neighbors were bragging one day about the pizza here
In the 6.5 years I've lived here
I've driven by this place quite a lot
But never tried it
Now with prices thru the roof on everything
I went there and bought a large pie
Which costs $26+ change
While there I noticed the pie maker not wearing gloves or a hat
He was touching everything
The dough,toppings etc
I got the pizza home and we ate most of it( being very hungry)
The next day( wow)
So far two bouts on the vetrified throne

This place is really really good. Excellent pizza really good salad quick and inexpensive. Very easy parking. Nice outdoor area. If you're ever in the area fantastic place to stop for pizza.

Best pizza I have had in a very long time. Fresh basil and thin sliced garlic explode on the palette. TOP NOTCH PIZZA!!! Super friendly crew too

Thin crust pizza, light on the sauce, heavy on the cheese pizza in a fun converted gas station. Good for groups or a solo dinner.


Longer story:
Once upon a time this was a gas station and it's been converted to a pizza place. The whole place is decorated in hilarious memorabilia that made me think of a gas station from the 60's. That's been paired with an intentional modern vibe or exposed bricks, large scale garage style doors for walls and

This pizza is thin crust, light on the sauce, and heavy on the toppings. They only serve medium and large sizes. They have some constant, old faithful classic toppings, such as pepperoni, as well as a solid rotation of seasonal pickings.

IMO - the ice cream sandwiches in the standup freezer to the left of the cashier is always worth looking into.

We loved Pizzoco! From the ambiance to the staff to the pizza, this was a trendy and energetic spot to grab a slice and wait out the rain.

Of the 3 pizzas my family tried, the White Oak Canyon was my absolute favorite, but I doubt you could go wrong with any choice on the menu.

Plus, who wouldn't enjoy a mural of young and handsome George Washington wrestling a pizza away from a giant carnivorous plant? We will definitely be back!

My favorite pizza place in Winchester especially in the warm months. Canned beer, good salads, ice cream sandwiches

The flavor profile delivers and makes self-regulation difficult. I ate more than I intended to eat and shared dessert. We will be back!

The menu has something for everyone. Service is more of a self run thing, no real servers coming to tables. But definitely enjoyed our pizzas!

Split a pizza with half Blanca and half Hiker's Special and it was sumptuous. Fresh ingredients, delectable cheeses and extremely attentive service! Highly recommended if you are visiting VA.
