Established in 2006. Pizzalley's Chianti Room was established in March of 2006. It is a full service Italian restaurant with a charming family feel. Pizzalley's Chianti Room was opened as a sister restaurant to the famous Pizzalley's on St. George, a pizzeria opened by the family in 1999 that serves pizzas by the slice and pie, salads, chicken wings, and homemade bread sticks! Located off of St. George Street in the heart of historic St. Augustine, you can find us by our friendly staff sampling our pizza in front of the pizzeria. You may enter Pizzalley's Chianti Room by walking straight back through the pizzeria, or by it's other entrance at 60 Charlotte Street!

The best pizzas in all of St. John County!!!
The crust was crunchy and slightly thick, the sauce was just the right amount, and the cheese was not too salty and they add a lot of cheese which I absolutely love! (:
Friendly service, and the ambience was rustic just like the rest of St. Augustine!
Highly recommend to anyone!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 19, 2024
We came through the Cathedral Plaza way. You enter the pizzeria and then walk the hallway to the full service restaurant.
Our first meal in the city.
We were seated on a nice table with outside view.
Pizza, Caprese Salad, Pasta, and Chianti were our selections for Dinner. Delicious food, excellent service.

We stopped here while waiting for our ghost tour to begin.
Ordered the carbonara with cheese tortalini and blackened shrimp. Came with a caesar salad and a garlic bread stick. The main dish was pretty good but they did not blacken the shrimp. Would have been on point if they had blackened the shrimp as I had ordered it. If we had more time I probably would have sent it back.
My daughter and wife did the create your own pasta. They did blackened shrimp, angel hair pasta, sun-dried tomatoes, and sauce. Both really liked there dish.
Overall it was a great value for the money. We sat out back which was a little chilly the night we were there and the waiter did cut on a heater and lower one of the curtains to help with the breeze.
Wife ordered a St. Augustine Sunrise. Excellent cocktail.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gwen R.Orange Park, FL814750May 18, 2024
Customer service was awesome. Wasn't that hungry, ordered a small roasted vegg. DELICIOUS. Delicious. delicious. The menus are nice with a cork cover. Our server kept our glass full, teas and lemonades. They have a good selection of wines and other Italian favorites. The inside has a traditional pizza restaurant feel. Everything was good. Will definitely be back...

Ivy was our bartender and she was amazing. The bar was smaller with only 6 seats. She did a great job of managing the drink orders and taking care of us. The pizza was great. We ordered the pizza with everything. She said the arugula and prosciutto was the staff favorite but we were going for more of a standard topping. The beer was . The atmosphere is not bougie so shorts and flip flops were perfectly acceptable. There is outdoor seating.

Definitely the spot in St. Augustine...delicious food and their garbage can pizza is to die for! Great service and staff.

Hidden back behind the bar entrance is a long hall that leads to the restaurant. We arrived on a Monday evening that had crowds on St. George Street but did not seem overly crowded inside the restaurant. Our larger party of 7 was seated at a large booth which was not the best seating for 4 adults, one teenager and two eleven year olds. Bathroom visits meant everyone on that side needed to get out of the tight booth. Service was okay, it was difficult to find our server at times. Our party loved the breadstick and caprese salad. Many ordered pasta dishes with a salad and most enjoyed them. I had the fig and prosciutto personal pizza which was delicious. Overall, good choice if you are looking for an Italian restaurant to bring your family to, something on the menu for everyone.

The service was good and the food was just okay. I don't think I customized my pasta in the best way so that might be part of it. The pizza did taste pretty cheap though. Must be the cheese. The mozzarella moons were our favorite part.

Atmosphere - The restaurant is a little on the small side and it is pretty noisy.
Service - Disappointing. our server was pleasant enough, however we felt rushed. We ordered a starter and placed our entree orders. We explained that we would like to take our time, so we asked that the order not be put in right away. It was a waste of time. We were barely finished with our starter and our soup was delivered.
Food - Average. I ordered a caprese salad and the spaghetti combo. The salad was ample. The tomatoes were not fully ripe and the mozzarella cheese was nothing special. I also had a cup of Italian Wedding Soup. It tasted like something out of a can. My entree was the spaghetti combo (meatballs and Italian Sausage). The portion size was ample and the sauce was pretty good. The sausage was good, but the meatballs were bland.
Overall Value - Average. In a city with many quality restaurants, this is one that falls short.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
