Let's see ... we are the fourth table with humans in a sea of empty tables. You bring us menus and water but then leave us to twiddle our thumbs, so we consider the overpriced bottles of wine ($45/bottle so we Googled each and one was less than $12.), listen to the music amidst the ambient noise while wondering where all the people sit when the parking lot is crowded. Actually we wonder why that many people would actually choose to eat here.

Oh ... we found the restrooms on our own because going to visit those little rooms became a priority after this extremely long wait to just order our food ... well you know sometimes you just have to go.

And, still no waiter ... we can feel the chill from outdoors since the entranceway is not blocked off nor the restaurant apparently heated properly (I actually like cold versus hot so if I am chilled you know something is very very wrong.) as we watch other wait staff walk back and forth past us. In fact, almost all of the diners in this section of the pub have kept their coats on ... one woman in a "bubble wrap" winter coat fully zipped still seemed cold.

All I know is the food better be good because this review is hanging around a 1 right now.

Oh another table seated (Still more empty tables than those with humans.) and they actually have a waiter even after we asked a busser where our waiter was (He said "someone will be right with you." haha ).

Drum roll ... we have been waited on food review to follow...

Guess what ... the food didn't change the review. The service did not improve. We will NEVER go back and we will always wonder who is in the cars that always seem to fill the parking lot. Perhaps it is the bar but then again the wine is overpriced ...

The pitney is one of those restaurants that never fails to serve their customers exactly what they want. They have flexible hours, a HUGE menu, and their wait staff is both professional and welcoming, especially around holidays. My boyfriend and I frequent here, for the location and its proximity to our university. I love their pot pie and appetizers, their drinks are great too. They have an upscale diner vibe, with modern colors, art and music. They double as a bar, and host events every week. Definitely a win in my book

So I have been ordering from this place for quite some time. I can say I am happy with anything that I order because their food is great. I think one time we got a pizza undercooked but they were happy to correct it. Just ate here, the taco salad is so good! Puts Taco El Tio to shame as they do not even know what a taco salad is. I would like to ask kindly that people not smoke pot or cigarettes by the door as you're walking in. Yea, ok pot is legal now but please still have respect for one another, these are my lungs, not yours. Thank you!

Pitney, poppers, long way over the last five years, such a wide variety of diverse foods. Italian, Spanish, Indian, steak, seafood... You can't go wrong with stopping in. Staff is great, friendly and helpful! Great music plays on the jukebox and the bar atmosphere is fun! Happy hour wings @$6 were delish!

Been here 2 times. Once to eat in and once picking up take out. This is a solid spot. The food is good and the service is good too. There's nothing to complain about.

One of the worst dinners. I asked about the $26.95 fried chicken dinner. I asked how many pieces they said two so I asked what parts she said they are mixed so I asked can I get a leg and a thigh because I don't like white me if I can't get it I will get the chicken pot pie. She said she will check and came back and said again they are mixed so I repeated what I asked for and she said ok.
The meal comes and there are these 4 huge pieces of fried chicken that all looked the same so I knew I was in trouble. I broke open the heavily coated chicken only to find out it was all white meat. I told the waitress what happened and this is her response"I'm sorry". Nothing else now would you like something else nothing. It was like tough shit this is what you get. At the end of the meal she gave me the check which was $65.85 plus a tip for lousy over priced crap. WE WILL NEVER EVER BY FOOD FROM THERE AGAIN. The worst experience of my life plus the prices are outrageous and the food quantity has dropped big time. I will post a picture. My wife got pierogies and Kabasa which were burnt and they said that's how they come. It's my fault I was expecting something special for $26.95 but all I got was an over priced chicken dinner that was a lie. Man am I pissed. What you see is a large quantity of the breading I eat some white meat but not much.

Food is always great! Can noy get a bad meal of you tried! Service is wonderful and consistently on the money!

Today is Christmas Day. This is our second year happily going to the Pitney Pub for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Along with a list of specials for the day, their full menu was available. And, they had all their TVs on as the Eagles were playing the Giants. Mark your calendar for next year. No reservations required. 12/25/2023
