Amazing Experience! Was a little skeptical of going due to the cost; however it was SO worth it. The service was incredible and the pace of the meal was perfect.
We were greeted with champagne upon entry. I have a few food allergies and they confirmed everything at the front but we're able to create all the same dishes just with slight modifications. I never felt like I was getting a lesser or different experience given the allergies.
Each course was more delicious than the next. We ended up closing the restaurant down late into the evening because we were just enjoying our time there so much.
Can't wait to go back and celebrate a special occasion!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hamilton H.Atlanta, GA1210Apr 7, 2024
The folks that run this restaurant are nothing but class!! We had a reservation we had to cancel in celebration of my wife's 50th. The client service director, Lea, was very kind and asked where we were going to dine instead. When we arrived at the other restaurant, crèment and all kinds of little amuse bouches "complements of the Roses Restaurant Group" were brought to our table by ANOTHER COMPETING RESTAURANT!!
Cannot say enough about these classy folks!!
We have eaten at Roses before and food is out of this world.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - 73736610Mar 3, 2024
Our experience here was phenomenal! We arrived and were warmly greeted. Everyone in the restaurant is so friendly and excited to have you there. We were at the chef's counter and it truly was an honor to see such a thoughtful staff working hard throughout the night. We sat down and received a thorough guidance from our waiter on the menu. It was very helpful to have his insights. Ian was my absolute favorite! I adored him in every way! He was so witty and entertaining during the entire night.
The food was creative, unique, and delicious to the taste. There were so many food highlights, but the gnocchi was clearly handled with so much love while it was made. We opted for the zero proof pairing with the meal and it stole the show! The mixed drinks that came with each dish were so good. If I could have one thing at my last meal on earth, it would be the seedlip gin avocado drink. It. Was. Phenomenal. The Jell-O shot, butter popcorn frozen yogurt, and pancakes were cute, but the flavorings and necessity were not there for me. They did not add much to the meal unfortunately in flavor.
The true only downfall of the evening was the rush of our last course. Four items were all brought out at the exact same time. It felt overcrowded and chaotic. We received the pancakes, crème brûlée, Manila dessert, and donut all at once as multiple waiters brought everything out. It was overwhelming and I did not feel like it allowed me to appreciate each option individually. Also, by the time that I got to the doughnut, it was no longer warm which was a bummer. If I could change one thing, it would have been this process because it felt like they needed our seats and we did not have time to enjoy the final courses.
As we left the restaurant, the hostess lost my friend's jacket so we waited around for sometime as she brought out every single jacket other than my friend's. Finally, my friend snuck behind the scenes and realized her jacket was on the floor where the hostess could not see. We were so glad that we were able to find it before heading out to the cold, rain, and wind.
Overall, it was great! Thank you pineapple and pearls for allowing us to have a wonderful time.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 7, 2024
A wonderful 2-star Michelin experience. We were here for a birthday dinner so we can the restaurant to ourselves. Everyone in the staff was so hospitable and friendly.
The drinks are good and being able to sit at the bar and chat is a nice touch. The interior is cute and quirky with lots of cool designs and trinkets. The space itself is small but very intimate.
The food itself was executed cleanly and well done. Each dish has a story that's interesting to hear.
My favorite dish was actually the dessert with ube and pineapple. The lasagna was also good but I thought it was a bit too acidic.
While we weren't able to order the Mocktail pairing, they are very open to giving non-alcoholic substitutions for the meal.
Definitely recommend coming here to experience a fancy but fun dinner!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ronda G.Phoenix, AZ01914May 2, 2024

Absolutely remarkable. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in DC. The staff was great, attentive, and very informative on the many dishes. No doubt it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's truly an amazing experience. The food ingredient combinations were fascinating and the flavor was out of this world. I highly recommend enjoying their libations as well, they were top notch. I enjoyed the ambience, it's lively well lit, and fun; this was surprising, as the majority of Michelin restaurants I've visited were darker and a more subdued atmosphere. We loved and will be back

There aren't the right words to describe our experience at P&P. When I think about my favorite dining experiences, this one takes the cake.
From the neon lights, velvet, bubbles, music, to the absinthe fountain upon arrival, every detail has been curated with excitement and pleasure in mind.
Say goodbye to the "four hour tasting parade to the chef". Say hello to a new kind of experience where pleasure is valued over perfection.
ITS TRULY A PARTY. Every night.
You just happen to get an amazing meal while you are there.
Everything is opulent and there are surprises around every corner like being handcuffed to a chair, buttered popcorn soft serve ice cream, truffle infused amaretto, and a caviar, gummy bear sundae bar.
Oh, and just when you think you're done being surprised, wait until you get your parting gift. The most decadent midnight snack to close out this memory of a meal.Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - 513261222Dec 3, 2023
This is a fine dining restaurant. Service, Quality, Food were all simply beautiful
This is definitely worth the hype and every 5 star is has ever received.
If you've never been to a Michelin reviewed restaurant, it will be unlike any regular restaurant you've ever been to.
I was a bit skeptical. But the experience and food is definitely worth returning to. We enjoyed every single one of our dishes and the little surprises in between from the chef.
Our dishes included our first round of appetizers which were the Raw Tuna & Watermelon, and Lamb.
Second round of appetizers included
Gnocchi and Five cheese ravioli (maybe it was 4 I can't remember)
Entrees were Coffee - Parmesan Risotto & Wagyu that was literally melt in your mouth.
Dessert - I've never tasted anything more beautiful than the Creme Brûlée donut with the pear sorbet.
The only complaint I have is that the music was a bit loud and the chefs, & waiters are a bit soft spoken so we missed a lot of what was described in what we were eating. However, great music selection.
Our mouths were very happy when we left!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 21, 2024
Highly recommend! This is my first Michelin star experience and I would say it is so far the most fun dining experience I've had. It is truly a party! We walked in with a wine glass, sat at the chefs table to watch the dishes being made - every plate is carefully curated, beautiful, and delicious! On top of the meal itself, we got some yummy dessert, a cute photo, and a wagyu burger to take home in a fancy box!

Currently, P&P is a two star Michelin experience, and I would give it a 3 out of 5 star Yelp rating. I dined solo at the bar area, but still ordered the four course meal. I read about and researched the restaurant ahead of time. Throughout my experience, I couldn't help but feel like I was comparing my experience to its past reviews.
*fully blunt here* As a solo diner, I appreciate when the restaurant takes care of me. I want the host to show me a good time, the bartender to chat me up and make me laugh, just overall attentiveness. I read that the experience was like a fancy and funky dinner party, full of surprises. Usually I set my expectations low, but given the glowing reviews, I fully expected to be delighted and entertained. After all, isn't that what earned them two Michelin stars in the first place? I think that is where I made a mistake.
When I arrived, I watched couples and groups who arrived before and after me being served an absinthe concoction, laughing and posing for their souvenir Polaroid photo and being whisked to their table, while I stood awkwardly in the corner holding my coat.
When you sit at the bar area, you are still paying full price (around $400+) for the four course menu, without getting the full P&P experience. My name was called, and I was brought to the bar area (no photo) (still had my coat). The bartender greeted me warmly and I was surprised with the beggars purses, and the rest of the meal moved along fine (I did get both pasta dishes when I ordered only one... pretty sure they brought me a bigger plate of the one I didn't order, but that aligned with the way the night was going). One huge bonus is that the bar is right next to the bathrooms, so you can check out both *amazing * *transporting* *otherworldly* WCs before your Uber arrives. * I gave an extra star for the bathrooms as they were the only authentically surprising moment of the night.
I overall thoroughly enjoyed the food and each little surprise along the way. However, I couldn't shake the disappointment in the lack of consistency between my experience and that of fellow diners. At the end of the night, I had to ask for my check (and my photo). It was a bummer. Rarely do I regret dropping $$$ for a stand-out, beautiful dining experience, but I instantly regretted that evening. When I made it back to my hotel room, I stared at the coveted photo that I fought for, while eating the (spoiler alert!) take home burger that was gifted to me on the way out. The disappointment showed in my face.Helpful 11Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 5 - 298127294Sep 18, 2023
I wanted to love P&P, especially given its stars and how lovely the staff was, but was very confused by the menu. Some dishes (like the pancakes) were surprisingly great, while others were so-so (some dishes, I hate to say it, were very salty). Overall, could not identify the theme of the food, and cannot say that I was blown away by the dining experience.
My husband and I also sat at the bar, where we expected more interaction with the staff. However, we probably would have been fine sitting at a regular table--nothing too noteworthy happening at the bar.
That said, the restaurant itself had a fun, New Years-like vibe and the staff was very friendly. Had my expectation not been that of a Michelin-star restaurant, I may have rated P&P higher. But it is hard to rank it at the same level as other one- or two-star restaurants that we have visited recently.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1
