This company has an amazing program to help all families enjoy camp. You can volunteer as an ambassador for a summer camp. PAW has created a scholarship program that gives you half off as many sessions of summer camp as you would want or need. It's called "The PAW Ambassador Scholarship" and it's a service-in-exchange for tuition program. For each 8 hours of time you volunteer, you will get half off a session of camp...of your choosing. The volunteer service consists of talking to and posting about PAW to other parents. You would just post about the camp, the scholarship program and their family discount offers! They'll even give you a pdf Gift Certificate that gives $100 off camp that you can send to friends, family, and other parents. The PAW Ambassador Scholarship is great if you have more than one child, are experiencing financial hardship, or want a full summer of activities. If you have questions about the scholarship you can reach out to (310) 827-8827.

In 2019, we enrolled our then 5 year old daughter in the "Hip Hop Hamilton" Musical Theater Camp, at the El Segundo location. We were initially hesitant to send our child to camp with older kids. Our feelings changed on the first day of camp. The camp director and camp workers were friendly and attentive to our needs and concerns. They gave us a great orientation before we left our daughter for the day. When we picked up our daughter, she was genuinely happy. At the end of each camp day, it felt good when our daughter gave us a "fun" recap of the day's activities. We also enjoyed helping our daughter practice her lines, in preparation for the closing performance!
Pros: Diversity of camp members, the camp director, the camp staff, the location, new friendships that were formed
Cons: 2 weeks is a short amount of time!

We are so excited for our daughter to join the Hamilton cast for the summer. Everyone at PAW has been so amazing and welcoming. We will definitely join future programs as well.

We are so excited to start this program in the summer for my 8 year old daughter. Everyone in the office, specially Brittany has been amazing in getting us started and registered. We are signed up for Hamilton for the summer, and my daughter could not be more excited for it. We recommend this place for any new kid starting in musical theatre or a veteran in musicals :)

I wouldn't recommend- if you need six hours of daycare then maybe, but it was not entertaining or interesting for my 7 and 9 year old. We asked for a refund the very first day, because we knew it wouldn't be for us- and they said not a chance. I then said my kids will probably miss days then since they were bored with the program on day one. They didn't care - putting their own summer camp production in jeopardy. I wouldn't spend your money on this one. :)

Our 6 year old re-enacted her favorite movie -- The Greatest Showman -- as a stage musical with kids ranging from 6-15. The staff is highly energetic, friendly, and teach the kids valuable experience performing in front of a crowd. My daughter loved it, and we're eager to do it again next year!

My daughter loved the camp this past summer. We attended the last session which was Mary Poppins in Manhattan beach. It was only one week but the staff did a great job in getting the production together. Super impressive! My daughter met great friends and was sad it was over soo quickly.

PAW's Musical Theater Camps are great! My daughter has done one here and one in Redondo. The staff is great and the kids really enjoy putting on a full musical in just two weeks! We hope we can get back to "live" camps again next summer, but until then, we will be taking the online summer workshops!

We love this camp soooo much! My son has done two shows with them and always comes home excited about what he is learning. This year we are trying Guitar Camp and will be happy to report how much we loved it when completed. The instructors are well versed in their areas of expertise. You can totally trust that they are working in the industry and can share a ton of knowledge and skill with your child. Count on your child wanting to return!

This is our first time and my son loves it! The team at El Segundo for 2018 Session 1 is fantastic! It speaks highly of the PAW El Segundo staff that my son begged me to allow him to stay until extended time closing at 5p. The only suggestion I have is perhaps include the costumes. PAW offers guitar for the musicals, stage/makeup, filmmaking, and other aspects to make the show a success so why not include costume design too? I would have been willing to pay he cost of materials for the costume instead of buying it online ... this way, another group of students learn sewing/costume design skills too and parents don't have to run around looking for costumes :-)
