Picked up my new company car.
Everyone was very helpful even though the fleet coordinate hadn't come in yet.
The car was out front, I swapped all the stuff from my previous car to my new one and I was outta there.
I've also had service done here a few times even though it's an hour from home, definitely worth knowing things were done correctly.
Thanks Annie! You rock!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Posting 2 stars for the save that Nic in Service had this morning to keep our business. Had it not been for him, we would've issued 1 star (or 0). We were pleasantly surprised when we received a coupon for a 3-use oil change/tire rotation for a great price. When I arrived with my wife's car, I had a terrible experience with the service writer, who pushed me to purchase additional services, and asked (when I declined the recommended 120k service) if 'I really even cared about my vehicle'? Seriously - who talks to their customers like that? You can imagine my response back. Fortunately, the rest of the experience went much better once Nic got involved. Hoping for a better end to end experience next time.

**PREDATORY MAINTENANCE**
I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change for $48 and received a 12% coupon (see screenshots). When I arrived for my appointment, Dustin Danner asked if I also wanted a tire rotation and alignment, stating I need both every 6 months. I declined the alignment. Two hours later, they state my car is ready and I can check out. Dustin tells me, "We couldn't get your tires off, but I got you an even better deal, it'll be $69"! He then shows me a receipt charging me for an oil change, tire rotation (which they didn't do), and multi-point inspection (listed on their site for my car $59). I tell him that is outrageous and far more than what they told me online. He argues with me and stating my 2006 Mustang conventional oil "EASILY costs $100 because there's lots of oil in such a big engine". I've never paid more than $50 at Ray's down the street. Dustin then just pushes the receipt at me, saying "How about I just give it to you?" and charges me nothing for the appointment. I receive my keys and return to my car, where the oil sticker on my windshield has not been changed. When I get home, I check my oil and my oil cap is still dirty and my oil is not even full. Which leads me to believe not only did they try to rip me off, they didn't even complete the services he tried to charge me for. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patrick B.Placerville, CA05118Sep 3, 2023
Bought a 2021 F-350 6.7 Tremor here new. Purchased the Ford extended warranty and maintenance. The transmission failed and Ford did not have parts to fix it so I was forced to trade it in. That is not the problem.
The problem is that STEVE in finance will NOT cancel my extended warranty or maintenance so I get a refund. I have contacted him several times for months and been given the runaround. I will NEVER buy another car from Performance Ford. I even did not take delivery of my Bronco I ordered from them because of this. As a Ford retiree....I am ashamed that Ford is associated with this dealer.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike L.Farmington, UT01Jan 30, 2024
Have your wallet secure when you walk in here for service and expect to get your car back, sometime.
First experience here was for some warranty work. Called to schedule an appointment and was told no need just bring it in. I bring it in and they say they will need it for a week or two and they will get to it when they can. I don't understand why you don't slot it with a technician on a certain day. When I brought it in they also tried to upsell me on some manufacture service and an alignment. Well I had driven over their machine and it said my wheels were fine. I asked why I would need that if their machine says I'm fine. The response was, in effect, well that machine isn't very accurate and we recommend an alignment every 10,000 miles. When I picked up the car, the issue still happens intermittently and they didn't fix the other issue.
I brought it in recently for an oil change and they told me that it was due for the "manufacture recommended 30k mile service". I'm at a ford dealership and, wanting to service my car correctly for the purposes of warranty I said ok let's get it done. They quoted over $1000(I think it was about $1600). After I left I didn't feel comfortable that a car needed that much service. I cracked open the Owners Manual from the manufacturer. Weird, it didn't have a 30k mile service. I then called two other Ford Dealerships, asked about a 30k mile services they said only an oil change and air filter. I then called back and told them to stop service and only do the oil change. When I picked up the car, I asked again what is this 30k mile service. I was told it's the manufacturer recommended service. I pressed if it was a Ford recommended service. The service person said no, it's a B&G Service. B&G manufacturers fluid. To represent it as "manufacturer recommended services" while standing under a Ford Sign at a Ford Dealership is just dishonest when it's not recommended by Ford.
My recommendation to you, make sure you look up what all the service intervals are for your vehicle because you can't trust these people to tell you what Ford actually recommends.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ingyoon A.San Francisco, CA01Jan 28, 2024

Nikki, we are happy to hear that our team was able to make your experience with us better! Thank you for taking the time to leave us, Ghassan and Chris a stellar review. We truly appreciate your business!
Sep 30, 2022Previous reviewSat there for 4 hours with little to no communication from our sales guy Don. We were told it was good to go. Then at the end of the 4 hours he tells the finance guy we told him what the bank was going to give us as an interest rate. We sat there with no communication regarding if the bank came back or not. He ended blaming us for the whole thing! People came and went and we just sat there! The sales team and finance team had no communication the whole time. it was a big cluster fu k!

We have come here for years to get work done by a "certified" ford maintenance shop. Having given them multiple chances here is the final verdict:
The Good:
- overnight drop
- original parts
- close to a lot of things
The Not So Good:
- don't expect service. When you make an appointment you can expect them to get to your car no earlier than 3 days from then, and that is only if your assigned service team is not off three days in a row.
- if you try to talk with someone not assigned to your team, you will get ZERO help. They won't even try. Your car is not their problem.
- loaners are for warranty customers only and are limited. If no warranty, don't expect them to even try to get you a loaner
- expensive
- questionable work. Did they fix our battery? Are the parts they use even good? We had the same electrical issue three times in six months. Each time they claimed they couldn't find what the problem was. All they did was keep replacing our battery. We finally bought a battery at an auto parts shop and haven't had any problems.
- no emergency service. It does not matter if you rely on the car for your daily life or if you only use it once a year. No priority is given to those who need it.
Bottom line: like I said, we used them for almost four years. But after this most recent bad experience we will never be coming back. If they cared about the customer, about doing a timely job of things, it would be different. But they do not so long as they can get your money. We will never use them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elena V.VA, VA093Sep 2, 2023
We had a huge issue with Performance Truck and Country, where we originally purchased our Ford Explorer ST. From the beginning the car was a total lemon. However, Performance Ford Lincoln Bountiful has everything within their control to help have my car fixed many times. Rob from the service department was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend the service and this location. Rob was so helpful and worked so hard to get our car fixed, took 4 months but it was well taken care of. I appreciate his professionalism and hard work.

Went to look around and price out used trucks.
Salesman walked up and asked what I was looking for, I told him the years and model of vehicle and what I was looking to spend. He eyed me up and down as if I was riff-raff and asked me what I did for a living. This irked me. Asking a question like that prior to a test drive, or the courtesy of showing me around the lot told me one thing, he was trying to see if I was worth HIS time.
I told him what I did and that I am from out of state, and that I am in early stages of shopping, and wanted to browse around and see what sort of inventory they had and what they were asking for the vehicles. If they had the vehicle I was looking for, a sale was not out of the question within a couple weeks. He asked me "have you looked at our website?", which I had not. His reply was "well, we have a lot. I don't really know what you're looking for". As stated above, I specifically told him the year range and model truck I was looking for. A very poor start to a potential business relationship.
He told me where to look on the lot, stated he would grab some keys and meet me out there. I walked around the lot for around 20-25 minutes waiting for him. He never showed.
During my wait, a younger salesman walked past and politely asked if he could help with anything. I told him I was waiting on another salesman to come meet me. I was mistaken.
I cannot speak for that younger gentleman or any other salesman at the dealership. However, being "priced out" and stood up is absolutely unacceptable. I have experience in sales; NEVER would I effectively ask "how much money do you make" in the form of asking one's occupation prior to at least entertaining their request. Never have I been treated this way at a dealership before.
Unfortunately, I do not remember this persons name. He is an older gentleman with very short hair.
I hope others are not disrespected in the way I was at this dealership.
EDIT: The salesman gave me his business card. Don Mendoza.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
