i walked in tired and hungry after a long day. the restaurant was quite busy and it was late. despite the line, it being late, Dan and Josh provided EXCELLENT customer service and were quick. I was pleasantly surprised. I greatly appreciated the both of them working fast, and providing great customer service. thank you both!

I had lunch today at the Penn Station on E Kemper. The strip is not that nice and the area is run down. However, the service was excellent, expedient and personal. The food was what you would expect from Penn Station. Great cheese steak and good fresh cut fries.
Great job.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rich T.Houston, TX0126Apr 28, 2018
This place came highly recommended from people who live in the Natti. Me being from Houston I don't regularly eat Philly cheesesteak, so I wasn't sure if I would like it. As soon as we step in the door the staff greeted us. I went with the Philly cheesesteak it was very very delicious!!! I definitely recommend people to stop by and give it a try. I can't wait for my next visit there.

Love Penn Station.. I really wish there were more of them in Raleigh, NC! I get out to a Penn Station fairly often when I make the trip to Ohio. Probably tops the list of sub chains for me. This location is a bit unassuming from the outside (doesn't look to be the best part of town either), but they do a great job.
I always order the Chicken Teriyaki sub with grilled onions and no mushrooms. It's just so good. The flavor of the chicken is great mixed with the melty cheese and the best part may even be the bread! Til the next time, Penn Station...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Don S.Indianapolis, IN0103Jun 20, 2019
I was most likely their first customer since it was 11:30 am. The restaurant was filthy and a dump. It looked as if the restaurant was never cleaned. The grill had black debris all over it. Stainless steel surfaces throughout the prep area looked as if they have never been cleaned. There were dead bugs on the floor in front of the counter. I wondered if the employees put gloves on to protect themselves from pathogens. This is a trend with restaurants in SPRINGDALE. You shouldn't feel like you're playing roulette with your health when eating out. It's been a few days and thankfully no ill effects.

Much better but greasier than your average sub shop. Good thing that they don't have them down here or my weight and cholesterol will skyrocket. My favorites were the Philly and the Reuben. The fresh cut fries are great too.

First time eating a Penn sub and I must say they were delicious! Husband got the Italian and I got the Philly.
However, a girl was training a guy (they were the only two employees there) and I think between her training him to take our order, some things we said were missed or not input properly.
I asked for mushrooms on the side because he doesn't like mushrooms and we always get different food and share our food with each other. We asked for a large drink and regular fries but they gave us a large drink and large fries (we almost always share fries and drink too, but I don't usually eat many fries so no need for a large and I'm sure we were also charged for the large, but they didn't give us a receipt). We also said the food was to eat there and they gave it to us to go.
Other than those few issues, the food was wonderful and the employees were courteous and friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Teri W.Greenwood, IN04814Apr 6, 2017Updated review
This is a great Penn Station. The employees are efficient and make great sandwiches. But best of all, the employees are always friendly and polite!

I stop here to get a sandwich on the way to work . I pulled up to the front of this restaurant . The door was so full of fingerprints . As I was going in the trash can was full of trash . Tables wasn't clean off . I brought the sandwich but couldn't eat it . I can't get over how dirty the place was . I did see a hiring sign . I hope they get the help they need clean the place up and people will feel more comfortable spending there money .
