Paper Plate BBQ

I recently traveled to oregon from california, we went to this establishment on monday april thé 8th around 6:30pm and a young man served us, with two friends and barbecue sounded amazing, we wanted to stop by a little restaurant for dinner and we were astounded with the service, quality, and taste! Person 1; I ordered the pulled pork sandwich without slaw. The pulled pork basically melted in your mouth it was delicious, tender, and very juicy. The man working this night was especially considerate had a great customer service rapport, and was very accommodating.
Person 2: i also got the pulled pork sandwich but with everything on it and honestly it was probably the best bbq i've had in a very long time. the cole slaw was light but had a nice crunch and flavor to it. i would definitely come back here and try it again. the guy couldn't have been more kind and considerate .

i had the brisket sandwich but they didn't have cheese (i didn't mind) the meat was shredded which surprised me i didn't expect that and it was pretty tender. i was the one who looked where to eat at so i saw this was close to our hotel, and i couldn't have gotten more lucky with the food/service.

Delicious! That is the first word of this review because that is the best way to describe this food. The ribs were truly fall off the bone. The brisket sandwich was the perfect bread to meat ratio, and the added house pickles on the sandwich was the acidic taste that cut the fat. The brisket was so well cooked even the fatty bits were glorious. The Mac and Cheese was flavorful and had multiple cheeses in the base, I would have liked the base to be a little more creamy and solid, it was a little too liquid for me. The corn bread was delicious and moist in its own, but I wished it had the honey butter on the muffins. We didn't get there close to closing, so it was disappointing not to have that iconic frosted honey butter on top.
One of the standouts of the food was the sauces! They had a spicy barbecue, a regular barbecue, and a pickle mustard. They were delicious and we dipped all of the items in them, I would buy bottles of that stuff!

The service was quick and good. We could tell they were quite busy, but it only took us about 15 minutes to get all of our food. They were kind at the table, and were apologetic about not having some items.

The ambiance of the brewery was okay. It was a very busy weekend so I won't fault them for that. But the tent outside with heaters was nice, and the tables were nice and sturdy.

All in all, a great experience!

A staple experience if you are trying to get decent BBQ in Eugene.

Slated to the back side of Coldfire, this food cart brings major flavor to the area. My go to is the brisket with a side of Mac and cornbread muffin.
The brisket always has a great bark with and a smoke permeation that sends every bite into overdrive.

Don't assume this cart up if you are craving some BBQ.

Received my order 50 minutes after placing it. The man working the grill was extremely rude when I walked up and asked after 40 minutes how much longer it would be. They said it was a busy night, although there were never more than 3-4 people in line, and there was no one in line when I placed my order. I rarely feel compelled to leave a bad review. If they would have been apologetic about it I would have had more empathy. BBQ was mediocre. Don't waste your money or time.

Incredible BBQ food I ever had! Fast service and great service! Would recommend to anyone about this truck!

paper plate smash burgers, this young fellow by the name of carson got me my burger in record breaking speeds, don't know what ambiance means but the food was crazy, and the burger cooking speeds where even crazier, 9999999/10 service

We were so hungry that we did not take any pictures at all, but we all really enjoyed the food.

Please read why "The carnivorous beans" were a no go for me-
I expected more of a baked beans flavor and was excited bc I must admit- I love me some baked beans!
However, these beans with pulled pork tasted like my moms Mexican beans- that's a good thing! They even put jalapeños and cheese as a topping. Hella Mexican...
I just didn't want that with my barbecue. ‍

Mac n cheese was good! Enjoy those shell pastas for some mac.

The brisket was phonomenal! Two people ordered it on its own, and I had the sand which. The pickles were great with the brisket, get the sandwhich and take it a part of you'd like, or order a side of pickles, yum!

Pulled pork was loved by my friend. I also enjoyed it, however the pulled pork in the carnivorous beans had a different texture- didn't love the pulled pork in those beans.

My friend ate those ribs so fast. I don't even remember what they looked like.

Spicy bbq- yay!

I've wanted to try this place for sometime now. The food always smells so good! My Aunt wanted ribs so, we tried this bbq spot. Yum! My Aunt loved her ribs! I was going to try the citrus chicken but, I didn't get there in time. They were sold out. I tried their nap time nachos and yum! So good and such a wonderful blend of tastes! From the meat, cheeses and the cornbread crumble. Trust me lots of food and I was very ready for a nap. I will be back for sure to try some briskets and their sdiesc sound so good!

As I was eating I was watching them putting tray after tray of food together, just assumed it was for a party. I overheard another customer say they were feeding the firefighters. What an awesome thing to do and I most definitely will be supporting them! Good job to support the community and those risking their lives during this fire season!

Mac N cheese was okay. Barbecue sandwich was also just okay.
Customer service was average. Not super friendly not rude either just not much of a personality.

Also because it was so late in the day they ran out of a lot of food. So maybe next time I gotta get there early to try the barbecue ribs or chicken.

Well hot damn. Finally some real barbecue in Eugene Springfield. I am a former Texan and I make my own barbecue at home, I've never had any barbecue outside of my own in Oregon that compares to what I had the other day. I sampled, hot links, brisket, chicken, ribs, macaroni and beans Everything was so good. The meat was succulent, had good flavor, a good smoke ring and was cuttable with a fork.
As a major bonus, this was just one of several food trucks at ColdFire Brewing. If you like good beer, and good barbecue, this is the place to go.
