Papa Johns Pizza

I recently had a pizza from Papa John's and it was delicious. The crust was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The flavor was good and slightly sweet. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Their prices are reasonable and I would be happy to have it again.

Also talking to the manager felt like i was in a foreign country could not understand a word

Papa Johns is scamming people with their Carryout special. I have complained about this for over a year and now I have decided to call this out publicly.
Carryout special offer says that any Large one topping pizza costs $9.99, but when I add grilled chicken as a single topping, the price is $12.99 before taxes.
What is that if not a scam?
I was a regular for a couple of years, but now I am choosing a business with transparent pricing.

It's been twenty years since I've ordered this brand. When the kids were little, this was our Friday night tradition. My kids fought over the garlic sauce....
For nostalgia, ordered today. Gosh - it's exactly how I remembered it and I'm in a different state now?! That's one heck of an effort to ensure their brand is consistent from East to West Coast!
Even got all that delicious garlic sauce all to myself. LOL.
Delivered by Door Dash, accurate and piping hot. This will happen again!

Tonight I ordered a "Shaq-a-Roni" pizza (along with another 2 pizzas and wings).

Opened the box and found an XL Cheese Pizza.

Called the store, and the lady who picked up said the order was correct and that the "Shaq-a-Roni" pizza was just a Cheese Pizza with ZERO toppings.

Forget that the app photo has loads of pepperoni on it, or that the description says "...loaded with extra cheese and covered in over sixty pepperoni from edge to edge...", or that my app Order History says "Toppings: Extra Cheese, Pepperoni". I even have photos, that I offered to send (see attached photos).

When pressed further, the lady said that the order was correct on her end, and that I could file a complaint with corporate. When asked for her name, she hung up.

I understand that people can make mistakes from time to time... but that level of customer service (or lack thereof) is unforgivable.

I came here to redeem a birthday cookie. I placed an online order and it was ready within ten minutes. The guys working seemed like they were over it but that is completely understandable. The cookie was warm and a little crunchy for my taste but it was pretty yummy. They are a little thinner than they used to be. I wouldn't pay $10 for it but for free?? I can't complain.

Went here 2nd time for their new XL NY 18inch pizza half pepperoni half grilled chicken.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't as good as the 1st time I went with their regular large pepperoni pizza. Crust was weird in a way that it wasn't crispy nor soft/chewy enough. Flavor of the cheese and little sauce as well didn't help.

Lastly, NY pizzas are VERY THIN, this pizza was half the thickness of their regular pizza which is still about 50% thicker than actual NY pizza.

Upside are fast pick up time and lots of topping.

I really wouldn't recommend their NY style pizza if you really want to know what NY pizza, try Loosie's pizza in santa ana.

Their rewards program on their website never works even thought it looks like it does. I called the store to talk to the manager, and I've never talked to a person who hates their job more. He doesn't care, has no interest in helping fix issues with their website, or even giving the slightest interst in fixing their issues. Please don't waste your time.

Angel the assistant store manager was wonderful provided amazing customer service and gave me valued customer service and pricing. I would recommend this business to anyone who is looking for a reputable business to buy from

The service is abysmal and prepare to stand at the front for a few minutes looking around awkwardly until an associate even attempts to address you. However, customer service aside this location has pretty decent pizza and some creative creations, such as the stuffed pepperoni crust pizza. The papa-dia is kind of mediocre because it's just a folded thin crust pizza, but with all the pizzas I found that they were consistent enough with toppings and cheese that I honestly don't mind dealing with the lack of service.

Prices are ok, they always have promotions on their app or online order, the plaza kind of sucks to get in and out because it shares parking with so many other businesses and is located on a busy street, and if you can disregard the lack of friendliness at this establishment the pizza is a-ok.
