Panda Express

This Panda Express will be just right.
We get the teriyaki chicken by itself and I make rice at the condo.
The honey orange chicken may have to come home too. LOL

My husband and I had lunch here on Saturday. The orange chicken and walnut shrimp were amazing. It was a great way to spend a very rainy day lunchtime.

Absolutely fuc*kin pissed. I am starving and they forgot my orange chicken. I placed an order online and they didn't even put any in the box but charged me for it.
We also ordered 12 of the ragoons and over 1/2 of them we're not sealed properly in the peeling process and had No cream cheese inside....... I've been a line cook for years and don't understand how you can be that bad at days food. Scoop it out & put it in the box? They weren't even busy!

Quiet, clean, fresh food, good customer service. The cook in the back was attentive not just to her station but also to us as a customer- she wanted to make sure we were taken care of.

We will return!

My first Panda Express meal. A write of passage for Americans. It's pretty much what I expected. Crappy Chinese fast food of moderate quality. We both got orange chicken. We got the chow mein, fried rice, broccoli beef, and mushroom chicken. I guess it was a decent meal for the amount of food and the price. The rice was dry and lacked flavor. Same with the chow mein. The orange chicken wasn't bad though. I probably won't ever be back but it doesn't hurt to try.

We were in a hurry. We chose Panda Express thinking that we'd be in and out since everything is already prepared. Unfortunately, Panda Express was in no hurry to get us on our way.

We had two orders. Both were for the three entree plate. The first order was served up in an expected amount of time but the second order had to be changed several times as the entrees that were ordered weren't available and wouldn't be ready for approximately 7 - 10 minutes. They didn't even have noodles (chow mein). After waiting in line for almost 10 minutes, I really didn't have the time to wait. This was smack in the middle of the lunch hour and while there was a steady stream of customers, it definitely wasn't slammed. While it wasn't my choice of entrees, I just ordered what was available on the line and got on my way.

What we did have was very good and the portion sizes were quite large. We each split the plate with our respective spouses and neither of us could finish. With so many other options in Kapa'a, I would have probably been better off ordering something online and just picking it up.

My favorites at Panda Express, Beijing Beef and noodle. At this location I found the staff & service exceptional. A location of people with personality, which provides pleasant experience.

So they just start having this big conversation and she can't multitask
So I am standing there waiting while they go on and in. Finally I said "Can you take my order" and she started to and then here comes the same girl again and started up a long conversation again.
Not in English. There were no other customers there. This was my first and last impression of this place.

We typically avoid chain restaurants on vacation bc prices are inflated and service is poor. But, this Panda was not that way. Everyone in the place was super friendly. They got our group of 8 through the line fast. Our order was accurate and the food was great. Place was clean and comfortable. We had a great experience. And where else in Hawaii can you feed a family of 8 for $101?!?! Good deal!!

I have probably eaten PE a lot...and in a lot of different states. Almost always, dependable and tasty food like it was here.
