Great pizza and grinders. People are always nice. Definitely one of the top pizza places in Ludlow.

Used to love this place. About a month ago, called someone and told them they HAD to try their steak and cheese grinder. Following week, grinder had a weird under taste. Following week, grinder tasted bad. Following week, grinder was literally burned black. Tonite, they "forgot to make the pizza" I ordered. Such a shame. Took a while, but done now.

Holy Mackerel. Ordered a steak and cheese sub, large. It was huge, overflowing with meat, cheese, other stuff. Priced way inexpensive, under $13, including tax. Best steak and cheese ever. Just a little pizza and sun place on Center St in Ludlum.
A real gem...and I'm a real customer, from a few hours ago.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle T.Springfield, MA031Jan 30, 2021
This is a small place , Could Easily be missed. My son found this place when he was at the TD bank (across the street)and found himself HUNGRY. What a nice surprise he brought home for us. Delicious Crust , Sauce n plenty of topping on the pizza, Now i go there once a week for lunch. Great Grinders too! I Recommend giving them a try the next time you want Pizza

Wow., so some coworkers have been talking about this not only amazing lasagna but the giant portion.
So I tried it tonight and wow just amazing if this isn't the greatest takeout lasagna it has to be damn close.
Must be over a pound of lasagna alone and come along with a side salad and two huge perfectly cooked breadsticks with just the right amount of crisp yet chewy texture.
I said to myself wow can't wait to try some of their other options. But I don't know that I will as I will undoubtedly get the lasagna again and again.
It is that good.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elle V.Granby, MA713156May 13, 2017
Nondescript store front with a sign that is easily overlooked. Don't make that mistake.
We ordered a combo pizza to go. It smelled so good we ate it on the spot picking the toppings off. Faced with crust and sauce I wondered how it would be wo toppings. It was great!
The crust is crispy and chewy with excellent density. The toppings are balanced and sauce flavorful.
It was a great pizza. We'll definitely be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven M.West Yarmouth, MA11731Jun 26, 2019Updated review
Have to say maybe my review helped......went there last week and the waiting area looks fresh and clean and the steak and cheese grinder is 100% the best in town. Finally they are back.
The back looks like it needs some work and Customer service could be a little nicer but I will be returning weekly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 28, 2014Previous reviewDIRTY...Being from I.o and ludlow I did like this place but IT has just gotten too dirty look around when you go in there and being inly cash thats crazy its 2014 people..... they always make u wait awhile also so im over this place clean the place up and maybe ilk come bac

What a pleasant surprise! This small, local takeout place doesn't look like much from the street -- it shares a building with a kind of dated looking "E-Z" indie convenience store -- but the pizza and grinder that we tried were REALLY, REALLY good. The pizza crust was on the thin side with both a crunch and a chew, and it managed to support the ingredients and ample dose of greasy cheese without going limp...perfect. The sauce was great, the toppings were great. The grinder was GINORMOUS and delicious. Our family got multiple meals out of this and everyone raved. We will definitely be back!

I've been coming here since 2002 for grinders & pizza. Palermo's never disappoints. The portions are big, they don't skimp on the toppings, and the prices are great. The menu has a variety of options as well: salads, calzones, pasta dinners, sides, ect. Support local and try them.
