This place has the best Italian food in Albuquerque. Recommend 10 out of 10. Food, table service, cleanliness, time waiting to be seated, and for your food are all really great. Can't go wrong choosing to dine here.

So many gluten-free options which I really appreciate and the GF thick crust pizza was pretty darn good!

Also ordered 2, $20 pastas to go. When opened, less than 1/2 cup of pasta. Are you kidding me?

$10.50 Caesar to split between 2 of us -
For $10.50 you'd think it would be a decent size salad, right? Barely a side salad large enough for 1.

Prices are scandalous for the amount of food prepared.

Required making more food to feed 2 adults.

Great customer service and friendly staff; however, the food was not it. The menu options looked tasty, but it was not what I expected.

      Something's changed here.
This used to be a great restaurant with tasty, authentic Italian food.
Tonight they were VERY short-staffed, the guy at the register didn't seem to know how to do that job, & the food was pricey & not up to the quality we've previously enjoyed. Has ownership changed? Cooks? Recipes? What?? Something major, I think. Very disappointing. Makes me sad.

My husband and I are "long time regulars" here. The food is consistently good. And the staff is exceptional! We appreciate the people that are the face of the business: that's currently Quinn, Faith, and Hayden.
Thank you! And to the other hard workers, including the ones behind the scenes, we appreciate that you are there working hard. Whether in the front or the back, we know Carl's helping where needed.

The food was really good. We enjoyed both of our meals. I was really happy with the generous amount of clam that was in my pasta. The veal was massive and it came sides and spaghetti so that was money well spent as well. We just didn't like how cramped it felt in the restaurant and the server seemed a bit cold especially after she brought out the salad with the wrong dressing. We probably should have clarified better but she just seemed a little cold overall. Because the food was good so we probably will come again

As a newly diagnosed celiac patient, I thought my days of Italian food were over.

Paisanos has a gluten free menu with many choices. I tried the GF lasagna and GF garlic bread and it was as good if not better than other nice Italian restaurants.

Food is delicious! If you're looking for a place to dine, fine Italian, this is it. I would advise however, if you want cocktails, this is not the place for they have beer and wine only. But the environment and food again very very well done

I am super disappointed in the bad reviews. I'm not sure if everyone thinks that because COVID is "semi -over" and everyone is back , but let me tell you, the service industry is HURTING! People just don't want to show up.... It's a super shame, but it IS reality!

if you feel service is bad, please keep it to yourself and perhaps use the energy to complain about the sun shining too bright! Many restaurants are struggling to even be able to stay open and serve people AT ALL. Be thankful you are able to go out and not cook at home!

Sorry, not sorry, rant is over.... Read on for possibly just one more directed at those that do not understand food.

Let's start with the Fresh figs stuffed with Gorgonzola and wrapped in prosciutto, then grilled to perfection. Such a sweet and salty perfection! 3 come in the order and yep, YUM! (Seasonal item)

Fettuccini alla carbonara get in my mouth!

Oh my, this flavorful dish had everything that I desired. Italian sausage, bacon, creamy carbonara sauce, geez Louise, this took the cake.

Fresh pasta is what they say AND fresh pasta is what you get! I have been searching for homemade Italian and man oh man, did I find it!!!

      Education time:
For those that want al dente pasta, which I also like, but that is dried pasta, do NOT order homemade pasta, that is not a thing! Stop complaining about something that is not possible! 2nd rant over!

Now, let's top this off with the triple chocolate mousse, yep, I went there! And it was delicious! What a perfect end!

I do not drink coffee, but the espresso machine was going and it did smell delightful!

They do not have a bar area, so I did take up a table for one, eh, I ate enough for 2 (don't tell people), but my sever Nick was great! He was super attentive and awesome! Nick, huge shout out to your recommendations and your overall conversation!

I will definitely return, even though it is pretty far from me!

If you have celiac disease, this will be your new favorite restaurant! The owner is gluten intolerant and has created an AMAZING gluten-free menu! My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is their GF calamari! I had cheesy garlic bread, fried mozzarella, cream of mushroom soup, and ordered a cannoli and tiramasu (all gluten-free, I know, amazing right?) to-go! I went for my birthday but ended up leaving early and had to cancel the main order because we had already been there an hour, couldn't wait anymore, we had to catch a movie. I wish I had tasted their veal but they were super busy, but I know everything they have is AMAZING! It is my 3rd time eating there, it's EXCELLENT! I LOVE IT!
