Outback Steakhouse

The food here was amazing. They did a great job on my steak. Everything was warm and cooked the way I like it and the people behind the bar were very attentive to my needs.

This location is great...across the street from tons of other restaurants including the new Quarterdeck and Whiskey Neat. We have stayed next door at the Embassy Suites Hotel. We would hit this place right at 530pm so not busy.

Porterhouse and Ribeye steaks Pitts style are my favorite with of course the legendary Bloomin' Onion mini. I prefer to sit at the bar and be entertained by the bartender. They have a full liquor bar a a few good beers on tap. Prices at this Ft Lauderdale location seem reasonable.

For those of us going on a cruise, seeing the Outback sign near our hotel was comforting.

The service was excellent and the food tasted great with everyone in our party received the correct order.

The only negative was the temperature in the restaurant. The staff did adjust the temperature some but it was still cold. We noticed other patrons were also cold and putting on sweaters and coats. The temperature would have been appropriate if the restaurant was full; but I thus Saturday night the restaurant was less than half full.

I have been eating in the different outback restaurants for years all over Florida, this one in Davie in Hollywood was not good at all, the standard has called dramatically. It took 30 min to get our first drinks, the starters a cut here 20 min then the main meal the steak was just terrible, not tender and only just warm when we got it, the plates were obviously sitting in the kitchen eating to be picked up by the waitress, who simply kept disappearing only turned up to give us our food or drinks, I order a second second beer I saw the bar keeper pull
The beer place on the side for our waitress to collect it yep again 25 min to collect the beer. In addition the restaurant was freezing airco far too high. Looking at all the other reports the managers need a serious look at how they are running this chain. Will I go back o no not to this one ever again.

I visited this Outback Steakhouse location on Wednesday, 9/13/23, during dinner time.

I decided to order the Prime Rib Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and a Bowl of Tasmanian Chili. The bowl of chili was super spicy, yet flavorful. The prime rib was seasoned to perfection and cooked well to my liking. The mashed potatoes were good but served lukewarm/slightly on the colder side. I loved the complimentary loaf of bread, too.

The service was awesome. I sat in the bar area, and the bar staff was truly hospitable.

Overall, the entire experience was great. I loved the ambiance, the taste of the food, and the friendly staff members.

3 stars all around: food service and ambience. Just so so food and service in a chaotic outpost of this large steak chain...only try if it's close by or the only option ( many other options nearby)

3 star food: both entrees ( mine and my partner's) were both lukewarm and over seasoned. Even the bloomin onion here, remarkably consistent other outposts of the same chain, was lukewarm and over seasoned.

3 star service: service from the front desk to the sever to even the table bus service was remarkably slow on a medium occupancy night ( roughly 50% occupied). The front desk was attitudinal, service was inexplicably slow and the table next to us stayed with dishes and leftover food nearly the entire visit.

3 star ambience: parking was easy but inside was helter skelter with loud kids running around unchecked and the faux Aussie decor worn and dirty. It seemed badly managed.

Pretty decent Outback. The food was average, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and the ambiance very much felt like your typical Outback chain. Only wish it could be a little cleaner... got a few dirty utensils and cups, but the staff was very quick to replace them.

Food portions shrank and pricing out of line. I go to Longhorns instead. Better food quality larger portions more professional service and pricing more affordable.

First time here, the decor desperately needs to be upgrade the seat cushions are old & worn out.. it should have been renovated during the pandemic like other establishments I have been to. We ordered the Surf & Turf filet mignon came out perfect along with our sweet potato, waitress did a decent job for the about of tables she had to wait & served. So with that if they had upgraded their old worn out hard seat and cushion it could have been a 5 Star

Really not a bad place the food was cooked perfectly the beer was nice and crisp and cold and it was a very clean place overall awesome
