It appears that Colorado Springs businesses have the nicest people. This is like any typical Outback that you go to. I loved my baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. My steak was a little tough, but the flavor was great. Really enjoyed my salad and tropical cocktail.
Our waitress was wonderful.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jessica R.Colorado Springs, CO17821Mar 16, 2024
We had a door dash order for $260. Most of the order was ok except for mine. I ordered 2 salads plain and a plain potato which got messed up as well.... They added cheese to it and it was served in someone else's container.
They offered a refund but that didn't quite sit right with me. We ended up throwing all of our salads out. We won't be ordering any more food from here. Too much of a headache if the restaurant is this careless.
Check your food before you eat it if you are still willing to risk getting sick eating here. Not going to ask for a refund now I think it's better to warn everyone instead.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Howard S.Colorado Springs, CO174May 7, 2024
I didn't enjoy my blue cheese pecan salad. the iceberg lettuce was all white chunks and watery.
could you include some romaine to lift the salad up?'.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 4, 2023Updated review
3 Aug 23 - my husband and I took my friend that was here visiting from Wisconsin & her son for lunch. I ordered the grilled chicken with asparagus, loaded bake potato, Shrimp on the Barbie that came with potato soup. The soup was delicious and so was my meal. My friend Barb ordered the Alice Springs Chicken with broccoli, her lunch was great also, her son ordered a steak with a sweet potato & broccoli and the steak was cooked so rare that he could not eat it. I think he should have sent it back but he didn't. My husband ordered a burger with fries and was very disappointed with his small burger but the fries were good. Service was okay but I think I will not go back because this is the second time that some of the meals are not great! Do not recommend it because their are a lot of better steakhouses in this town.

I ordered the prime rib combo with shrimp on the Barbie, salad and a loaded bake potato. My husband ordered the baby ribs with salad, bake potato with butter. His ribs had way too much barbecue sauce on the them and my prime rib was not medium like I ordered it. It was well done instead of medium and therefore was not as tender as it should have been. Ordered a piece of butter cake with strawberries to take home.
Apr 9, 2023Previous review9 Apr 23 - ordered take out for our bEaster late lunch and told them on the phone that the last time I ordered food there they bforgot my potato and only included the toppings. I ordered the 9 oz filet with a loaded sweet potato and ranch dressing on my salad. My husband ordered their meatloaf with a baked potato with just butter and ranch dressing on his salad. It was ready when we picked it up at 3:00 pm and I checked our order when
we picked it up. My filet was tender and cooked medium and my husband's meatloaf was moist and delicious. Was very happy with our Easter early dinner from Outback and will order take out from them again.May 2, 2020Previous reviewMy son ordered take out for me on my 80th birthday on 30 April 20. He ordered me a bone in ribeye with a bake potato, salad and picked it up. They had a surprise caravan go by my house with signs to wish me a Happy Birthday! The steak was full of fat, too raw and they packed all the toppings for the bake potato but did not include the bake potato. I was totally disappointed in the steak, missing potato because I had other choices I could have ordered from but chose Outback. We always would go to Outback for steak, lamb chops and shrimp but now I am not sure I will continue to eat there in the future.
Nov 19, 2019Previous reviewWent there for dinner early and the hostess said we had a 10 minute wait. Couples kept coming in and she seated three couples that came after us. My husband asked her if she had forgotten about us. She said the people she seated had called ahead. I did not believe her because she never wrote my husband's name down and had no idea what name I had given her. After she sat us down a waiter said he would take care of us but disappeared. We waited quit a long time for him to come back. We got our appetizer, my husband's salad and then another waitress said she would be taking care of us and brought us our dinners. I think they did not have enough waiters when we first got there but eventually more waiters arrived and the service got faster. On Fridays they should have a bigger staff of waiters than during the week because Friday's seem to be a popular night to eat out!
30 Dec 18 had a late lunch there with my husband around 1:45 pm. Got seated right away. Our waiter, Stefan had a great personality and after he brought us our drinks we were ready to order. I ordered the 9 ounce filet with shrimp in garlic sauce and my husband ordered the NY steak. My husband had the salad and I had the chicken tortilla soup which was hot and tasty. It did not take long for us to get our food. The minute I cut my steak I realized it did not taste like a filet and was tough. The steak also had no taste at all and had done fat on it. When the waiter brought our bill I asked him if he was sure it was a filet because it was tough. He said he was sorry and would give us a discount. We got a 10% discount taken of our check but I doubt that I will return to Outback. They are too many other steakhouses in town that have well seasoned steaks that are as good but the steak was not worth the money they charge for it.
18 Nov 19 - had dinner with my husband
there last night. Had the New Zealand lamb with a loaded bake potato, and broccoli & cheese and my husband had the baby back ribs with French fries. We both had strawberry lemonades. Christina our waitress was excellent and we were delighted that the female manager came by to see if our dinners were okay and to ask us if we needed anything.Dec 30, 2018Previous reviewWent there for dinner early and the hostess said we had a 10 minute wait. Jul 26, 2018Previous reviewWent there for lunch with my friend Ann Marie and was afraid to order a steak since I had food poisoning last weekend from something I ate at Longhorn. Ordered the Alice Springs Chicken and not only was the grilled chicken breast very tasty & well seasoned but also very tender. It came with only one side order so I got the broccoli with cheese. Was disappointed that it did not come with a salad. Service was good as usual so I will continue to go to that Outback location.
Apr 7, 2018Previous reviewHad our Saturday late lunch at Outback. Ordered the rack of lamb which I know is always delicious and was not disappointed. My husband had the 9 ounce filet and it was cooked perfectly. The service was fast and it did not take long for us to get our food!

Service was crappy. 1 waitress with a pretty full house. Had to send back our prime rib that was well done and we requested medium rare. Second time the meat was still tough and medium. The amount of salt and black pepper also ruined the taste so it was not able to finish it. Wondering if it was really prime rib or regular steak. I eat prime rib every week and this was not it! Waitress was hard to reach and she didn't really seem to care. She did however take off my prime rib. She was way overly rushed which made us uncomfortable. Will never come here again. Waste of time and ruined my Friday.

Asparagus was perfectly grilled. I really like the bloomin' onion "petals" as they don't get soggy on the bottom. Steaks were grilled just right. Service was attentive.

I hadn't been to this Outback for quite some time. I can't say I will return any time soon. First of all as a "steakhouse" the steak needs to be wonderful! I had the 6 oz. sirlon and it was so "tuff" I couldn't finish. The salad was nice and crisp and the server was fine.
My niece had the steak, shrimp, & pasta dish. Her meat was way more tender than mine. Shrimp well cooked.
Overall, Texas Roadhouse has a better meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 3, 2023Previous reviewIt had been a few years since my last visit; I am pleased to state I had a really good meal! 5 oz sirloin with coconut shrimp, broccoli and regular baked potato. The house Margarita topped off the meal. Steak was cooked well, the shrimp was delicious and the broccoli was not "overcooked"! Good sized Margarita at a good price. Will go again. Nice server as well.

After a terrible experience at an Outback (not this location, but same city) it has been 2 years since I'd stepped foot in another Outback. I'm very glad I did. This was a late afternoon meal, so I steered away from my normal dinner meal of steak. We ordered a Bloomin' Onion appetizer & I then quickly decided on a Seasonal Feature dish, the Bloomin' Fried Shrimp & a loaded baked potato.
The Blooming Onion arrived very quickly. It was presented very nicely, & it wasn't super greasy. Very happy with the quality & portion. My shrimp arrived & the portion was incredible. They were better then I could have imagined, the wonderful Bloomin' onion flavor, on shrimp. I ate at least 10 & still had a very large portion left, it made great leftovers!! The baked potato also hit the mark. Lately, it seems that getting a proper baked potato, in any restaurant, has gotten more difficult. This potato had a wonderful creamy mashed potato like texture when mixed with all the "loaded" items. I was very pleased.
Our waitress was pleasant, attentive & ensured we had a great experience. This experience restored my faith in Outback & I'll definitely return!!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sybil J.Castle Rock, CO0355Oct 18, 2023
After a truly crummy long day, came across this Outback and the server Brandon was outstanding. Very attentive without being overbearing in the least. As usual the prime rib was good and exceeds the price point in yumminess. Thanks Outback and mostly, thanks to kind, professional Brandon, for making the end of a stinky day much better. The petals are such a nice starter, not so large to be overwhelming like the Bloomin onion which is too much when dining alone. And the delicious frozen strawberry margarita was great.

i called ahead as it was a Saturday night, didn't want to wait but do understand things happen.
I stay 15 minutes away from this location. left so I would be 10 minutes early. When I called they asked my number, my name, etc.
When I arrived I was greeted and told her I had called in, she asked my name, and told me there would be an additional hour wait. I explained i called in and asked why I wasn't notified when things changed. I was told the kitchen is backed up again.
I turned around and walked out, before I reached the door I got two notifications my reservation had been canceled.
Labor skill is low, things happen, a million things, but with all this data collecting, request of phone number, etc. can you at least consider your customers time? Why did I not receive a text, at anytime after the call, it was proven the system was functional, had no problem canceling my order.
I will be done with Outback for the rest of the year.
Any restaurants looking for customers and willing to deliver great customer service? I'm one short currently...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
