Food - The Filete a la Diabla was delicious, the sauce was garlicy, buttery and perfectly spicy! Unfortunately the Filete Bahia was not the best. It did not taste parmesan and had a mushy outer shell. Overall, food is decent depending on what is ordered.
Service - Super friendly!
Ambiance - Cute and homey.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1334431106Feb 1, 2024Updated review

I can't complain about the food nor the selection of Mexican sweets and treats. I loved the decor it feels so close to home.
The only thing I would complain and felt irritated was the poor customer service. Waitress was running around with our check like a chicken without a head. After handing her the check it took her like 10 minutes to bring back we had to go ask for her and learned that she charged everyone at the restaurant and forgot about our check. Poor customer service but good food. - Apr 12, 20233 check-ins
Ive been coming here since i was a kid! Its my parents favorite place. The food never disappoints! We came here the day before Easter and it was absolutely packed! They sat us right away on the patio, immediately got our drink and food orders, and kept checking on us.
The patio does need some cleaning up, but thats normal with the outdoor elements.
The carne asada and mojarra frita are always so delicious and fresh as well as their other food items.
I'll keep coming back for sure.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Nov 18, 2023

This is a bit late, but each time me and my boyfriend come here, we're always greeted as though we're part of the community. We appreciate the staff and workers here and will continue to support this local business!! It's very inviting but also busy. Food is spectacular!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 30, 2023
I almost gave this place 5 stars but then we got the bill... I'll get back to that later.
Overall, the restaurant was colorful, lively, and had a mini candy store at the entrance. We were seated very quickly (2 guest) on a Sunday afternoon.
The menu has many options but it's not overwhelming. We ordered 1 lime margarita on the rocks, 1 michelada, and 1 Jamaica. For food, we shared a medium Cameron Coctele, and Camarones Marea. Everything was very tasty but for $76, inflation is making eating out very pricey.
My one complaint is that they changed 95cents for the tostadas and salsa that they placed on the table without asking if we wanted them. Those should be complimentary, right? If not, just say that upfront. Don't sneakily charge your patrons after the fact...
I would visit again and try other dishes.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tina V.Santa Ana, CA14231Apr 14, 2024
After waiting for 20+ minutes for a table , I went to get something in my car, but was really close by and heard the host calling my name , also made eye contact with me as she did, I went right away and she said she had given our table to other customers ?! Not even a minute had gone by! offered me to wait for another table?! I had really good experiences with the service at this location but this employee was rude and unbothered to give our table to someone else , no apology at all.

Came in today because I was told this place was special. I was recommended a specific dish, enchiladas a la Diabla...and they did not disappoint. The ceviche in oysters was also totally fresh and delicious, especially with some hot sauce. I was in heaven. We drove down to OC for this and we will be back.

Authentic Mexican cuisine and very reasonable prices. As you walk in the store, you feel like you walked into a store in Mexico City. Lunch specials were great and tasty. Seafood ceviche looks like a winner.
