Stopped here for girl's night and it was the best! The people watching was great (we sat on the patio) and the food was really good!
We got diet cokes for our drinks and the first round came out flat but when we told our server, the were kind enough to replace them and you could tell they actually fixed the carbonation.
I got the pepperoni pizza Nashville hot style, we got the whipped ricotta to split, and my friend got the margherita. Everything was delicious and we would definitely go back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 12631Apr 20, 2024
Ophelia's Pizza + Bar is in the heart of downtown Nashville, but makes you feel like you are taken back in time. The ambiance is very cozy, but VERY loud. My only complaint are the loud tourist, but is well known if you go downtown.
The food is incredible. The whipped ricotta was my favorite dish because of amazing bread! I enjoyed the lasagna, it felt very authentic. I wasn't a big fan of my drink, but there are so many good options. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - CiAnna W.Nashville, TN1836557Feb 3, 2024
Overall, it was OK. It was very loud and I could barely hear my husband. We were also sitting right next to the front door and everytime the door opened we were hit with a gust of cold wind and had to wear our coats during the meal.
As for the food- it was mid and not quite worth the price point. The whipped ricotta was a bit too lemon-y for my taste. I ordered the pizza which was decent. My husband ordered the Speidini and it was very underwhelming.
I will say our server was polite but we had a hard time hearing him since it was so loud inside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 27, 2024
Found this italian spot based on yelp. Super cute interior...walls are filled with picture frames. Made a reservation here since it does fill up quickly. We got some wine and started with the whipped ricotta and caesar. the whipped ricotta has a honey drizzle...smear it on the bread... so creamy and delicious. We requested some more honey since it tastes better with it. we got the special...white rigatoni and has meatballs inside but we got it on the side. it was creamy and delicious with the sprinkle of green onion. overall, the food was good..extensive menu options..and the service was awesome. loved our waitress...she checked in on us multiple times and was very attentive and accommodating.

Beautiful restaurant and location. The food was phenomenal. We had the lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs with 2 caesar salads. Also received 2 mini cheese stuffed peppers compliments of the chef that were amazing. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the service was extremely slow. Food came out slow but waited for super long intervals before seeing our server. The wait to receive our to go container and check were almost painful as we had already been finished with our meal for quite some time. Even with that, I would recommend this place because the food was unbelievable.

Ophelia's Pizza & Bar is a relatively new addition to the Nashville food scene, and in the short time, they have made quite the impact with their hand tossed pizzas, homemade lasagna and other delectable bites!
We ventured in Ophelia's on Christmas Eve this year. Reservations are recommended, as they have limited seating and they stay pretty steady. Our reservation was for 5:45 PM and upon entry, they seated up immediately. A server was not far behind, who got us started on drinks and appetizers. After our drinks were delivered, and before our appetizer arrived, we were surprised with a couple of complimentary stuffed peppadew peppers, which were delightful!
For our app, we went with the whipped ricotta, which came with a massive basket of focaccia bread! The ricotta was sweet, smooth and creamy. The lemon oil made it almost dessert like, which was no issue, just a tad unexpected upon the first couple of smears. For dinner, one of us got the Lasagna, because why not, and I went with the Christmas Eve Pizza Special, which was a Braised Beef Pizza. The Lasagna is stacked high, packed full of meat sauce and cheese then topped with a creamy bechamel sauce. The pizza was crispy, doughy, lightly sauced and topped with the perfect amount of beef, caramelized onions, goat cheese and arugula then drizzled with balsamic. Dinner was solid, to say the least. We decided not to get dessert, but the cheesecake sounded and looked divine!
Service was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and expedient from entry to exit.
While Ophelia's is newer, the decor, seating and lighting make it feel like it has been around for ages. They did a great job mixing the old and new to create a local, old school, but semi-upscale Italian feel inside.
There are a few paid lots around, with the best option being the lot across the street. It is a Metropolis Lot, so sign up, drive in and out with now issue.
Overall, really impressed with Ophelia's. Excited to head back in the new year!Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 21Oh no 0 - 28391229Dec 2, 2023
Ophelia's was put on my radar by TikTok with someone raving about the quality of the food, service and ambiance here.
I convinced a few of my friends to stop by with me on a Friday night and managed to snag a reservation for 4 at the last minute via Opentable. Another friend decided to join last minute and they were super accommodating about adding another seat to our reservation when I called to ask.
I usually avoid Broadway or downtown on weekends, but the chilly weather has made me crave some pizza, and according to some recommendations, Ophelia's serves the best pizza in town! Bold words, I had to check it out.
We were welcomed by our server, who kindly offered us some drinks, and we decided to get a bread basket since we were quite hungry.
I was delighted with my dirty martini, and the warm olives we ordered were amazing with their spicy, garlicky, and salty flavors. We then proceeded to order our entrees, and I opted for the Mortadella pizza, served with a pistachio pesto.
My first bite of the pizza was fantastic! The crust was thin and packed with flavor. However, I would have preferred more Morty-d slices on it since I'm a huge fan.
Our server was fantastic and surprised us with a Cannoli sundae on the house, which was delicious. We also added a cream puff to our order, perfectly complemented by the bitter dark chocolate ganache on top and the cannoli ice cream.
Although the prices are on par for downtown eats, this is an excellent venue to take out-of-town friends for good Italian cuisine. The interior is charmingly decorated with an Italian theme, and Sophia Loren's portraits adorn various walls.
I highly recommend you come and experience this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 22, 2023
I stopped by on Thursday night after hearing about the restaurant while in line for a book signing the day before, the gentleman in front of me said it's his and his wife's favorite restaurant in Nashville, so I found a spot at the bar before a concert.
I started with the whipped ricotta, which came with fresh focaccia it truly is a huge portion enough for a table to share, it was nice light, refreshing with lots of flavor.
Then I was torn between a pizza or lasagna, as lasagna is one of my favorite dishes, so I went with that choice, the portion is huge enough again to share.
The restaurant was busy as well as the bar with other patrons there before shows - theatre, concerts, it was worth the visit for nice Italian dinner in Nashville.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 14, 2024
A lovely spot with amazing food and a must try if you are in Nashville. Ophelia's is an upscale casual Italian restaurant with some traditional and interesting options. We started with some meatballs and the beef carpaccio and for entrees had the margarita pizza and large Ophelia's salad. Everything was delicious but the pizza was next level and I don't often say that about non NY pizzaimpeccable service all around and with such a nice ambiance, I'll be back for more next time I'm in town.
