      Super nice people. Gave us good recommendations and was just very helpful. We are building our aircraft hanger and came there for supplies. They were super helpful and respectful when we were in a hurry or didn't know what we were looking for.

      Store showed to be open till 7:00pm on Saturday. Arrived at 6:50pm doors were locked and staff was ready to go home. Guess Walmart will get my money now.

      Came here as I was in need of packing supplies and bubble wrap and tape would do the trick. When I was at breakfast this morning I bought a painted driftwood that I needed to transport with me back to Miami. Once inside staff was short however I found my way to the bubble wrap. I had several options to choose from. Also I got the heavy packing tape as well and than headed to the register. This is a rather small store in regards to inventory but had what I needed and therefore I am extremely grateful.

      As soon as I walked into the store, an associate welcomed me and asked if she could help me find a particular item. She then took me to the appropriate area and found the item (a printer cartridge) and literally handed it to me. The associate that cashed me out was very pleasant and even joked around with me.

      I went there 04-15-2023 9:30 am to ship a package and the lady behind the desk at the shipping area had no clue on what to do. She said she couldn't print labels and the size of our package which is 30" x 30" 5 inches thick and was too big they can only do 20 x 20 x 2". Another customer came up and wanted to have some stuff printed and they said oh the main printer is not working and I had to use the self-service. I think what the problem is if they're short staffed and they don't have the work ethic to continue Office Depot as a number one office supplier.

      Great store, very helpful and very clean. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Needed to print q page for a cruise I was going on and they were very very helpful with me being blind.

      I was on the Island for a professional development training and since my agency has a SPC Business Account...I didn't hesitate to consider Office Depot as an option...actually I considered them to be a resource for a last minute office supply and print/scan need. I arrived shortly after opening and there was literally no one but staff in the store. I waited behind one customer. I shared with the Associate that I had 40 workbooks (25 pages each), that I needed scanned. (Now a precursor to this is that Office Depot (another location) actually printed and bound the workbooks in a four hour frame...so I didn't think my request was unreasonable)
      The Associate said that he would have it complex in five days. I had to give pause with his response because I've never been given a five day turnaround on anything from Office Depot...even if I ordered from their warehouse. I explained to the Associate that would not meet my needs...at the latest, I would need by the following morning by 10 am (it was 9:30 am they close at 9:00 pm and open at 8 am) ...so roughly 13 hours to complete the project of scanning ONLY. Again, the Associate said "five days". I reminded the Associate that Office Depot advertises "same day services " and furthermore it was problematic for me as an SPC Account holder that they services were not available in a more timely manner. He then motioned to the self serve copier machines and said I could do them myself. I reminded him again that I was an SPC Account holder and was fully aware that products and services must be processed a specific way and the self serve machines (pay by use) would not work in this case in addition to the fact that I was presenting a training session in a couple of hours and would not be available. I then asked if there was another store near. He advised me there was. (Added nothing else to his reply)
      So I asked if he could please contact the other store and inquire, on my behalf, if they could meet the needs of my request...to which he did and the Manager on duty (Kristen) agreed that she could.
      I'm rating them because the Associate (Michael) 1. Gave a 5 day turnaround on a (four to 5 hour) scan job. 2.I had to ask if there was another store near. I'm not from the Island, nor am I familiar with the surrounding area.
      This was extremely disheartening to have this experience with Office Depot because, as previously mentioned, I'm a store Account holder and I have professional development sessions here in Galveston four times a year. After this experience...I definitely can't consider them as a last minute backup resource.
      Be aware...same day does not apply in every situation.

      Pretty much every time we go into this store to make a purchase of a piece of electronic equipment such as a computer or printer, the items that are on sale are out of stock. The employees are not even apologetic as they try to sell you something more expensive, not what you want or when they try to send you to another location. The standard answer is always "do you know where Texas city is?" Or "we can order it for you". This is equivalent to the old bait and switch scheme of yesteryear. If I wanted to order it and wait for it I would use Amazon. If it were my business I would certainly not put items on sale that I did not have in stock.

      This is a recurring theme in this store. We have experienced it on several different occasions over the years. I don't know why we bother even going into this store and one day will probably just quit wasting our time and the employees time and just click buy on Amazon.

      Their junky "self-service" copy machines are in bad condition. I tried to scan a document twice and it ate a page both times. After restarting, the scans were of poor quality and the pages were out of order. I told the employee that I just wanted my money refunded. He went away for several minutes to get the manager and when he finally returned the machine had timed out and charged my credit card. He then said I couldn't get a refund without a receipt. But their machine timed out without printing a receipt. So I'm out $11.50 but it will cost them much more than that when I don't buy print cartridges and paper from them ever again. I will drive 15 miles to avoid this store.

      The customer service is alright all the way up to the point till you have a employee so focused on making a sale and take money from me that he decided to leave out the part where my laptop he picked out saying "this is what we have" will take 2 weeks or more to get to me but instead says it will be too you about in a week. It would be understandable it just took a little longer than expected through the mail but nope he deliberately didn't not tell me it was a special order coming from the manufacture which takes longer than if it was coming from the warehouse! What bothers me the most is that I had to find this out after waiting a week for the laptop to ship which it still hasn't yet and me going to my order online and seeing for myself that the laptop that the apparently had was out of stock and 4 hours out of my day with there customer service trying to cancel because of the false information I was given to hear we can cancel your order we don't do cancel orders at this time so as for this moment I strongly express to anyone This is not good business Office Depot will never receive my business ever again!!!
