As a young girl it can be hard finding a mechanic that doesn't try to take advantage of you. I appreciate how kind and honest O'Gorman's is. I never feel stupid for my questions, things are fully explained... I have always bounced from shop to shop, getting second opinions and having multiple answers etc - but I FINALLY found 'my mechanic'.
Someone I trust and can depend on.

Have been taking my vehicle here for a few years and have been consistently impressed with the service and value. Efficient work and flexible scheduling with both routine maintenance and unexpected repairs. The shop owner, Dan, always provides thorough explanations of the problem and options for repair. Unlike many shops, they do not try to over sell you on services you don't really need. Pricing always is fair. Shop is very clean and comfortable is you wait or they have a loaner car if it's a longer job. Would highly recommend O'Gorman's on Hawley to anyone.

Dan is kind, considerate and honest. I can't tell you how much I appreciate his upbeat attitude as well as his amazing service.

We've had our cars in at his shop for a lot of difference reasons over the years---some simple and some truly complex. He has always dealt with us fairly and I've known that we have been well-cared for.

The best and most honest shop I have ever found. I have been going here for years and Dan is the most professional cleanest honest mechanic ever. I would recommend them without any reservation.

Was incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars and I drive an older vehicle (almost 200k miles) so it would not be surprising to me if some repairs were needed. I brought my car in to O'Gorman and Sons for an inspection and they told me multiple parts needed replacing, which would cost over $2,000. Hesitant to pay that much for my older car, I wanted a second opinion. The second shop I brought it to told me the same parts looked fairly new and they would not recommend replacing. I will definitely not be coming back to O'Gormans as I felt like they were taking advantage of me and have lost my trust.

Theses guys are literally the best in the business! We refer all of our clients to them. I honestly don't take may car to anyone else :) they shop is the cleanest shop I have ever seen! So if you are looking for great mechanics these are the guys!

We have an older truck and and minivan, and have been taking them to O'Gorman and Son's for a few years. Dan is upfront and honest about the repairs, and has kept our vehicles running for much longer than we anticipated. He is always in contact about repairs before they happen, and gives us options for keeping the cost down. His work has been accurate and like I said, has kept our vehicles in good condition. As a woman who doesn't have a ton of experience with automotive repairs, I don't feel like I've ever been taken advantage of. I'd recommend them any day!
