NTB-National Tire & Battery

NTB was Merchant's Tire and Auto when I started bringing my Hondas here for service instead of the dealership. I've always gotten quality service at a fair price, and they stand behind their work. I trust them with my car as I know they will let me know exactly what's going on with my car and not try to sell me goods and services I do not need.

The service is so much better here now that James isn't here anymore.

If you are going to work in a job and have to interact with customers, you learn customer service skills that help you to effectively communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner. If you don't have those skills, then you don't need to be working directly with customers.

They are unprofessional people and they are liars. Do not recommend. Better off taking your vehicle to Firestone

So I went to NTB 113 Debaun Loop, Chesapeake, VA 23320, and the first thing that happened was they told him he needed Air Filter. He laughed and said just replaced. Him and the manager went back, and it was clean. The guy goes im pissed and the manager said I am too. The manager said he would handle it. I went for new tires. They said they would call me on Tuesday and now Thursday. So screw them l, will go somewhere else. Don't go here unless you want to lose money and time. Discount Tires, with better.

The national tire and battery store on military highway in Norfolk, Virginia are the most unprofessional and rude is individuals that I have come across. Do not waste your time with any of the deals and specials. I bought a set a tires for them for the black Friday buy two tires and get two tires free. Now, I understood that there were some up charges that they was going to assess I knew about the installation and a warranty but when you get there, then they all of a sudden through an alignment that was not on the original invoice. If you look below you see everything that I was supposed to be charged when you get there they add on a bunch of charges and Eric and James they are rude. They are unprofessional, and they are just really poor, excuse for managers employees do not waste your time. Do not waste your money find the words to shop.

Worst place to get your car fix if they do that I had a 1 o clock appointment to check my car for sound coming from my rear brakes they never checked them on top that if they did check it they were going to charge me 150 bucks just to tell me what's wrong lucky they didn't check it . I ended up going up there 4rs later to find out they never did anything to my car

I had a 2pm appointment for a wheel alignment. At the time of this review, it is now 4pm. My car has not been service. Furthermore, no one has approached me to.give.me an update. This is a waste of my time

Worst place ever - I had an appointment for an alignment - I showed up on time, but then sat around for an hour and a half waiting... My truck never moved - manager and one of the techs stood around in the waiting area, joking and BS'ing - finally I got fed up, and just left. Avoid this place, unless you have a lot of time to waste....

I had my 2 cars, 2013 Fiat Pop and my 2014 Mercedes CLA-250, oil changed here with oil filter. I paid such a good price here especially since they gave me a military discount!

STAY AWAY... THEY ARE NOT HONEST This is the 2nd vehicle I brought for inspection. I have a reliable mechanic so I never get work done at NTB. The first car was the struts. I took my car to my mechanic. He said it was fine, and it was driving fine. But I had him replace it so it would pass inspection. The 2nd vehicle they said the strut was blown out and both tires had nails in it. The one tire did have a nail that punched the tire but the other one has a small 1/4 inch nail that did not puncture the tire. The strut had seepage but was not blown out and did not need to be repaired. I took it somewhere else and it passed inspection.
