The service is always friendly and the chicharrones are thick and crunchy. I get snacks from here. It does not disappoint.

A hidden gem of home cooked Cape Verdean comfort foods. I tried the cowbhoof and tripe soup roday but I will bring you updates as I believe this place needs to be explored oh I almost forgot I had a couple of crispy fried pork chunks with the skin and someeat really savory and a great value at 2 for a dollar.

5 stars and beyond! Such a friendly neighborhood takeout restaurant with delicious food. How can white rice be so delicious? This week enjoyed a perfect piece of salmon with couscous, super flavorful Lima beans, and some veggies. Yum. Couldn't be better !!!

Visited this sweet family-run spot today as part of a walking tour with Live Like A Local Boston tours. Great selection of dishes. I had a small takeout sampling including veggies, a starch and beans (I think cornmeal and pigeon peas) and a piece of stewed chicken on the bone. Delicious flavors! The owner/chef was very patient explaining all the dishes. They have an amazing-looking array of cakes and other sweets. Would like to come back soon and try more things. Very clean and well organized for COVID-safe takeout.

I've had a pretty good experience with this restaurant which is in walking distance. I always go for take out. I've been pleased with the portion sizes and service. The staff has been nice and answers my questions as I'm fairly new to Cape Verdean food. I am pescatarian so I only order the fish dishes from grilled salmon, steamed red snapper to fried porgy, and they've all been good. The steamed snapper was perfectly prepared. I like that there's a restaurant in the neighborhood to get a good and proper meal.

My friend's chicken fingers were good. Though she could have gotten those anywhere.
My driver couldn't find parking so I had to walk to him to get the food when I wasn't supposed to leave the office. The initial time frame I for deliver was 12:15-12:45. The food didn't come until around 1:30.
The carne alentajana was unlike any I've ever had over my entire life of eating Portuguese good - and not in a good way. I asked for no clams, clams are still in there. The potatoes are boiled, I'm pretty sure the pork is too. But that could just be all the fat on it that makes it seem boiled. No flavor, very brothy. Will NEVER order from here again. Buyer beware.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Roselynn S.New Bedford, MA06Oct 27, 2018
I've been coming for the past few years and always picked up small things such as tchixu (fried pork belly) pastel and rissois and other Cape Verdean delicacies. Recently I've started working in the area and craved for more than the usual so one day I enjoyed a full meal which included: fresh salmon, cuscus, and steamed veggies. All in all I am never disappointed coming in here and the name is suitable, "Nos Casa" (Our House) making everyone who comes in here feel welcomed like you're at a family or friends house. Oh and I can't forget the great coffee! Take my word for it and just visit, you will not be disappointed

Nos Casa is an amazing place to get some delicious, fresh Cape Verdean food. The cachupa with eggs is a breakfast I think about often and can't have enough of the tuna pastels! Very good prices with enormous portions that will last you a few meals. Check out this neighborhood gem! The people are also super kind and accommodating.

The food is old and no seasoning on the food taste old. They don't know how to Swanson the food it had no taste and it was very expensive. The restaurant is poorly ventilated you get in smelling good you come out smelling like fish. BAD don't waist your money.
