      If you were blindfolded and lead into any Nordstrom Rack you would probably think you were in a Marshall's or TJ Max. The store bares way more resemblance to these than to their upscale name sake.

      Look at the concept and do the math. The concept is that sale items and overstocks from Nordstrom end up here to be sold at deep discounts. Now do the math. There are WAY more Racks than actual Nordstrom locations. The math renders the concept impossible.

      As my late father said, it looks like a load of crap. Can bargains be found? Absolutely but I guarantee that less than 20% of Rack merchandise has ever seen the inside of an actual Nordstrom. They're cheapening their brand over the long term but I guess that's not really a consideration as long as they make their money.

      Nordstrom has gone way downhill since their hay day some 25 years ago. If you're looking for a reason, look no farther than their Rack stores. I've been there many times and have yet to buy anything.

      Believe concept of store is to be filled with items that did not sell at Nordstrom. Instead 10% of items from regular store and 90% purchase for discount store. Of which not really discounted. Ambiance is like a Kmart.

      Not a good shopping experience or value overall. Need to go directly to clearance racks only. Also checkout lines long.

      Shopping at Nordstrom Rack is similar to Marshalls or TJ Max. The unfortunate part about this location is how poorly kept it is. It is so unorganized that is like shopping for a needle in a hay stack. This picture was taking at store opening. Clearly the closers do not have an organization standard.

      Nordstrom Rack is now open and there are clearance sales EVERYWHERE. From designer racks to active wear, blazers, and so much more, literally each rack is marked down and totally affordable. Right now I would say there are tons of Jcrew options and Madewell shirts that are on clearance as well as accessories, bags, and tons more. If you are a fan of this outlet, you might want to start waiting in line to get in and shop till you drop.

      Horrible customer service when buying online. I ordered items in multiple packages and their delivery service ( NOT someone reputable like UPS or FEDEX) supposedly delivered them but I never got them. Then the customer service person ( 1-888-966-6283) said she was looking at a photo which shows the package was delivered to my front porch but she refused to send the photo to me so I could verify it was the right house.
      I waited 1-3 business days to be contacted further but nothing so I am still fighting to dispute the charges with my credit card

      I agree in part with one fellow Yelper who said that this location is reminiscent of Marshall's. Upon walking in this location, it did look like a run down ugly bargain store more like Marshall's that was about to close or a Strawberry's. Nordstrom Racks are usually very nice stores. However, once you get past the initial appearance, you see that there is more than meets the eye.

      This is a store to go to if you want to score a fancy pants LY (last year) item for a deep discount, generally 1/3. They are still somewhat expensive but many are "investment pieces". You can get some really good basics like a good pair of leather pants, a suit or dress for a special occasion. Items are arranged by designer and size. However, some items were damaged such as pilled fabric and should have had deeper discounts as a result.

      I will come back here when I need a dress for a wedding later this summer.

      Jacket I bought full price last year at the flagship store in Bryant Park for 1/4 of the price

      I had a pickup order this week. The process was fast and easy. Too bad the sneakers I ordered did not fit. (Schucks!) I did walk around the store to see if I can find any good finds. They definitely have them especially at this time of year, but the pricing did seem a bit high. They have a lot of inventory. It seemed a bit too crowded in there for me. Overall, I had a good experience with the workers as well as the security at the front entrance.

      This review is for the customer service I received from cashier staff "CERAY A." on 4/20/21 . She was the MOST ARROGANT/ INSOLENT person I have ever met in my life! Came to return some online products at the store and to much dismay I have encountered such a RUDE staff so early in the morning. Please allow me to write what transpired so you could have a better understanding::


      STAFF:: "Take them out of the box" . -- ( no good morning/ hello whatsoever. That was the greeting I got)
      ME:: took all the items out since she is clearly having a bad day at the BEGINNING of her shift. -- I asked " Can I please leave the box with you?" Since I still intend to look around & shop/ buy clothes here and other shops too.

      STAFF:: " NO. I don't need it!"
      ME:: " I don't need it too" . --. So I looked for a place where I cld leave the box and decided to place it at the end of cashiers' booth bcoz there's no garbage can in site and I can not leave it the cubicle where I am at coz it might inconvenience other people coming after me in line...

      STAFF:: " You can't leave it there!" -- ( such arrogance in tone)
      ME:: "I don't see any garbage can. So where wld you like me to put it?" --- [ or does she expect me to carry the box which is much bigger than there standard paper bags - the entire day while I shop for clothes? ]

      STAFF:: "Give it to me!"
      ME:: went to get the box and handed it to her... --- Then SHE THREW THE BOX BEHIND HER WITH SUCH ANGER!!

      ME:: "What's your name?"
      STAFF:: " You dont need to know since I'm already helping you!"
      ME:: "Wow! you have such an attitude!" Who's your manager?

      At this point, the manager (LUIS G.) was more than courteous to even apologize for how the other staff (CERAY A.) has treated me. But I think the Nordstrom Rack management (higher up/ Human Resources, etc) should know and atleast consider re-training/ counseling "MS. CERAY A." bcoz I have not ever seen such INSOLENCE/ UNPROFESSIONALISM!! . I know the company's philosophy is to provide quality customer service/ experience to all its patrons BUT this lady " CERAY A. " is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what your company tries to achieve.

      Also, take note that this all happened in the MORNING!! 2hours after the store opened! I wld probably let this one go if it happened towards late evening and just think that she might be tired from work. BUT NO, in the MORNING!! Which makes me think that this is her ACTUAL PERSONALITY!! Where she thinks she could get away with mistreating the customers!! Such a Shame!!

      Fan of this particular store location, their amazing online storefront and app!

      I've gone to the store several times and it's kept fairly well organized. Sometimes I do agree the lines get very long at time but that's like most shopping in suburbia.

      My favorite feature and would recommend to others is shopping online or thru their app!! There is a wide selection there AND if you spend $100 it's free shipping. So even if I'm uncertain on one or two items, I buy them and have been able to easily return in store- and then shop around if I have the time.
