Another great place for Vietnamese cuisine, this time in Scottsdale. Yes- I am aware of the frequency at which I eat spring rolls with peanut sauce, but I can't resist those heavenly starters.
I'm not always a big soup person, but the pho was deliciously flavorful and great for the rare chilly days here in Arizona. Next time I'll skip the brisket out of personal preference (it's still good! I just loved the sirloin and want more in my bowl).
I really appreciate the safety measures that Noodles Ranch has incorporated to provide customers with a safer, satisfactory experience. There is a take out option available, along with limited seating for dine-in, paired with easily available hand sanitizer and all staff wearing masks. Hope to eat here again one day!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2020
I woke up with one thing on my mind today... Pho!
I wasn't 100% sure where to go for the best pho in Scottsdale so obviously I turn to yelp! I found noodles ranch right here... The reviews looked right on for what I was looking for. I always get vegetarian pho with tofu! Noodles Ranch did not disappoint. I thought it was great, the portion was huge, and I loved the vegetables that were in the pho. I can't wait to go back and try some other things like vermicelli rice noodle bowls. If you're looking for pho - I Pho-sure recommend you try Noodles Ranch!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jun 3, 2020
Total fan of this place. Small mom and pop restaurant with excellent service. The place is cute, clean, and presents the food with a touch of art. The food was awesome, hot, fresh, and delicious.
Ordered:
Cha gio / Crispy Eggrolls - Minced chicken, vegetables, with dipping sauce
P5 Pho ga - Pho Chicken (white meat) - Comes with side dish of bean sprouts, lime, chili pepper, and Thai basil. The broth was clear and extremely flavorful and smells so good.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 711560Aug 6, 2020
Overall disappointing, but let's start with the positives. I've been eating here for for almost a decade. Their bun is AMAZING one of the best in the valley. Their crispy spring rolls are handmade and absolutely delicious and authentic. But, I decided to not go with my regular and try some different. A staple in Vietnamese is fresh spring rolls so I ordered some. They were honestly lacking. Good but not worth the price it was like the basic of basic lacking fresh herbs and lettuce.
There's some new places that I have ordered from that opened that offer $1.99 a roll but pack some serious flavor. So when I got two rolls for a price more then offered other places I was thinking it would be full and packed with flavor. The meat inside was bland, the shrimp barley went through the whole roll and the rolls were thin and lacked substance.
So let's get to the nail in the coffin. I ordered the chow fun based off reviews and pictures. I was super excited and it looks beautiful but as soon as I dug it it was subpar. I was beyond confused, the pictures the flavor, it was just not there. I dumped a mini container of chili oil provided by the restaurant, still no flavor. It was spicy but bland. I don't understand how there could be so much color but no flavor. As eating the noodles just broke into little pieces and towards the bottom it became greasy. It just wasn't it.
So I don't want to give this place a one star based on new items that I picked up of their menu. But I feel like if a restaurant is solid then it should be solid in all it offers. If you guys are looking for bun this is the place, trying other items be ready just to donate your money to a good mom and pop restaurant during a pandemic. You will just have to find out which dishes are it and which are not.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 168417539Dec 3, 2019
I am a FAN!
If my memory serves me correctly, this place has been here for a long time. It's in a strip mall with signage "Vietnamese Cuisine", I never dared and shame on me.
I wanted something else last week, so I sauntered over, considering the available chain options and when I looked Noodles Ranch up on here, I decided to check out the pho.
Only, upon entering this magical secret the aromas caught me and I looked further into what was available. I went with the side of green beans and their curry chicken. I was not disappointed. In fact, I wanted more.
Oh my, the curry warmed my soul. Literally wanted to lick the plate clean.
Tonight, I hear The Kid sniffling slightly and in my experience, a good pho is quite a magical soup. I decided to give it a go again. Again, I was not disappointed.
He went for the more traditional brisket ribeye P3 and I went for my usual vegetarian option. I've found a vegetarian pho to be quite the disappointment at other places as generally it's broth has lacked in flavor. I was very pleasantly surprised by the broth itself as well as the crispness of the green beans, bok choy, carrot and broccoli. So good. We also tried their crispy egg rolls which I much preferred without the dipping condiment offered. Yep, best Vietnamese Cuisine I've had in a while.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 24, 2021
After living in Israel for so long, one thing I've eaten a lot of is Asian fusion. Noodles Ranch hit the spot last week when we were craving Vietnamese. We ordered Pho , lots of tofu and veggie dishes and curry chicken alongside another chicken with lemongrass and ginger. We also got two orders of the veggie rolls wrapped in rice paper that come with peanut sauce.. Seriously delish!
Everything was a 10/10!! No pics and barely any leftovers because we ate everything in one go.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 158013961537Sep 24, 2019
Noodles Ranch was in my top 3 restaurants when I lived in Arizona. The Pho is some of the best pho I've had anywhere (P5 with extra chicken), but what really makes this place is the service.
The owners are so incredibly sweet. I was a frequent visitor and they made it so clear they knew me and would regularly ask me how things were going in my life - about my job, apartment, etc. Although Vietnamese by origin, they first came to Seattle which is where I'm from so we would talk about that.
I was also so impressed because they ALWAYS knew my order (P5 with extra chicken) not only when I'd arrive, but when I'd call. I'd call in the order and they'd recognize me and be like "For Lindsey?" I've never had another restaurant recognize me so much. I'm so happy to write a review for them and highly recommend the pho, spring rolls, and desserts!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Dec 15, 2020
The pho is good but the experience was so annoying that I don't know if I'll go back.
I was ordering takeout for myself and for some friends. It took me about 5 calls to get through to them, and the experience on the phone felt rushed and rude. They told me 25 minutes for my order. I got there about 30 minutes later, and their to go process seemed really unorganized. It took 20 more minutes for me to get my food, all the while the manager and employees were trying to figure out which dish was for which to go order etc...
I explained that I had two separate orders and needed the herbs/bean sprouts/sauces for pho for each order, but they shrugged off my comments. I paid, and my bill seemed too high, so I asked for an itemized receipt.
When I got to my friend's house to drop food off for them, I noticed that they only gave me one bag of the herbs/bean sprouts/sauces, not two, so I gave it to my friend and went home to enjoy my pho without those things (wanted my friends to fully enjoy their meal). They really should be giving one of those little bags of herbs per order of pho, and my order had 3x pho...
Today I was wondering if they raised their prices. Their website doesn't have prices, so I looked at Postmates, and it turns out they overcharged me by about $10, including seven small charges for "to go" and higher prices for each dish. Maybe that was for the herbs + bean sprouts they missed ;)
If I ever order takeout again, I'll skip the headache and go with Postmates.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tesia J.Denver, CO314154Nov 2, 2020
I highly recommend this place. Today I had it for my 3rd time I want to say and I haven't been let down.
I get Vegetarian pho with beef broth and no tofu. It's been the correct order every time. The broth and veggies are really great! They put a good amount of noodles in there so I don't ask for extra but you can with an up charge. I like mine pretty spicy. The only thing with getting it to-go is you have to check to make sure there is enough sauces in the bag. I got only one chili paste and one packet of hoisin sauce. I usually put a ton in with sriracha and I didn't get any sriracha at all. That's a price you pay when getting it to go. I recommend asking for extra if you like to sauce it up!
They just upgraded the inside of the restaurant. It looks very clean and nice when walking in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They greet you right when you walk in.
I'll be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 13, 2017
Nice people and good food, but I had a bit problem finding this place even though with my gps. The first thing that I see was the sign of Vietnamese restaurant but I didn't see the name of "noodles ranch" because it was a small sign.
I had vermicelli noodles with chicken and it was good but wasn't wow!
Overall was good quick place to eat.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
