Newegg's promise of "Next Day Delivery" is extremely misleading. I placed an order for hard drives on the morning of 1/3/22 and during the entire order process the delivery date was stated as 1/4/22. My credit card was charged later that day and the delivery date was still 1/4/22.
On the 4th the order was marked as "packaging" and at that point the order cannot be cancelled. On chat's with them I was assured that the package would be delivered today - 1/5/22. The package has still not been shipped and when talking with them I was told - "One day shipping is from the time we ship the package."
While their prices are competitive, they do not honor their promised shipping times - the one day shipping is just to mislead you into ordering from them.

Non stop harassment emails. Third time requesting I be taken off their email list. Each time they say it takes five days. It never stops. Vigorous hand gestures to these people. I will never do business with them again.

Their latest thing is a lottery for scares video cards. Make a wait list. I'll wait. I don't want the headaches of going though a lottery. Make a wait list.

Instead I'll buy from Amazon. At least they don't harass me with email after email.

Do not apply for credit from Newegg. I applied for credit thinking that I would get approved. Well I did get approved and they added an inquiry to my credit report and reported to the credit bureau that I had opened a new account. Days later I received a letter that I was approved for a certain credit line but I was unable to be assigned it for certain reasons. Now I have to fight the credit agencies to get this inquiry and account open status removed from my credit report as it can significantly hurt my credit if this account is reported as closed from the creditor when I never even got the chance to use it.

Long gone are the days when Newegg was a trusted source for gaming PC components. I ordered nearly $400 for a new mobo and ram relying on their next day delivery service. I get that mistakes happen, but what I do not stand for are lazy shippers who claim they "could not get in gate" when deliveries from USPS, UPS, Fedex, DHL, and Amazon arrive daily without issue. Again, mistakes happen. But to this insult is added the injury of blatantly despondent customer service reps who sound like they haven't slept in days and couldn't give one iota to paying customers like me and you. After giving up on the braintrust of a customer service, I started getting these calls in the middle of my office meeting. It was the VP of Customer Service at Newegg (google him, his phone number is spammed everywhere in addition to a damning video by Gamer Nexus proving what a corporate hack oversees all of Newegg customer service). This dolt found the need to notify me that he went out of his way to find an employee - not a paid shipping courier - that *lives near me* (lol right?) to hand deliver my package. Did doofus actually expect me to praise him for fulfilling Neweggs obligation which I *PAID FOR*??? I sternly told the idiot that I gave absolutely zero effs how he accomplished his job so long as he did it.

      Here is the punchline ...

Supreme moron decides to tell me that he will in fact NOT ship the package and "may" issue a refund. Yup. That is a *VICE PRESIDENT* of Newegg talking. It has been 2 days and shipment tracking still indicates "could not get in gate" with zero updates. Zero refund notice.

You still wanna buy from this bastion of thievery and incompetence?

P.S. I bought the exact same items from Amazon for next day shipping for less money. Go figure.

We have had nothing but problems with every computer we have purchased form this place. We bought 3 machines for the desks in our office and within a couple weeks 2 of them crashed and needed to be returned. They were replaced and within the year they again crashed. Stay away and get new machines

I wish I could give zero stars, and I wish I would have come to look at these reviews before making such a large purchase. I bought a brand new $1300 Dynabook laptop. It crashed 40 days later because of bad parts that they installed. I didn't find this out until after they denied me a refund or a replacement and I sent it to the manufacturer who had it for two months in order to tell me that it's not their parts. Here I am eight or nine months later. After several failed attempts at repairing the computer. They sold me a total lemon. They wasted so much of my time emailing back-and-forth sending them documents for proof. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. There's not much else I can do. They got me. I guess in some strange way it could be karma for anytime I've taken advantage of a company's return policy or refund policy. The worst part though is how much time they wasted. I truly hope this never happens to anyone. Run away like the plague by from a reputable seller. It's a nightmare. I very much wish I just threw the computer away and took the $1300 loss. But I thought no this is America and this is a big seller they'll make it right, in turn I wasted dozens of hours of my time. The parts that they installed voided my manufactures warranty. So without the original parts I can't get the manufacturer to repair the computer.

I ordered an expensive Dyson item on the big black Friday sale and received a confirmation of my order and payment, and that it would be shipped within a day or two. I never heard anything else and after a week I called them. They then told me it was being shipped 'by one of their sellers' and they would email them and get them to contact me. WHAT? Their seller emailed me and said they 'didn't have the color' in the order (there was NO choice when ordering), and they said they 'only had purple'. I told them I didn't care what color I got, and why hadn't someone contacted me and told me any of this. They had no answer. They said since I would take the purple, they would 'ship is right away'. The next thing I know, a couple hours later I received another email saying they cancelled my order! It was now too late to find this popular hair dryer/styler anywhere else; They were sold out all over and all the sale prices were over. I ORDERED THROUGH NEWEGG AND THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING SURE I RECEIVED MY ORDER OR EVEN TO CONTACT ME!
There was no explanation as to why they just cancelled it after telling me it would 'ship right away'. If I hadn't called them a week or more after placing the order, I would still be waiting for something they had no intention of shipping. Suspiciously, I now see that the SAME DYSON PRODUCT IS LISTED FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE, AS IT WAS, ONLY NOW IT IS $100. MORE!
They obviously are NOT sold out! I can only conclude that they cancelled my order so they could now sell the item at the more expensive price. I would NEVER deal with these people again. PLEASE, if you read this, Newegg is a huge scam and they are crooks. DO NOT give them your business.

Buckle up for my worst experience ever as a consumer. If you don't want to read it all, then in summation: never buy from this place.
So I ordered a laptop from them and paid extra to have it delivered in three days. They gave me a tracking number and everything. The day it's supposed to arrive comes and tracking says it's in a city about a 45 minute drive away from me. The tracker says it's in transit and set to arrive that day. Well, it doesn't arrive. When the day ends, it then says it's scheduled to arrive the next day.
The next day comes and it says it's in transit again and expected to arrive that day. The day ends and it still isn't here. So now I'm a bit frustrated since I paid this company money for delivery on a certain day. I contact customer service and ask for a refund for my shipping cost since I paid for a service they didn't deliver. The customer service rep has me wait for about 20 minutes saying of course she will help me out. She comes back, completely changed her mind and casually just says come back when the package arrives and ask for a refund again- doesn't seem to care that she's wasted my time and doesn't offer any explanation or assurance that I will get my package.
Now the tracker says there was "an event" and that the new expected delivery date has been correctly adjusted. It says it will arrive the next day and when that day comes it again says that it's in transit. Keep in mind this is a package I have to sign for, so when I'm being told day after day that a package is in transit arrive that evening, I cater my schedule to be there. I write back to customer service after several days of this same pattern and they write back saying that there was an "event" and the issue is resolved now because the expected date was adjusted (as if I couldn't/hadn't read that on my own). Still refusing to refund me, still no explanation, no effort to reach out to the shipping company they've hired, no reassurance, nothing. And when they say the arrival date was updated, what they meant was that it was again going to say that it was in transit and arriving the next day- spoiler alert, it didn't come.
So I call Newegg and tell them I want to go get the package myself since clearly they are incapable of getting it to me. Newegg says they won't help with that and instead I need to reach out to the shipping company. So I call the shipping company and they say that I need Newegg's permission. So I call Newegg back and they say they put in a request but good luck, it probably won't go through. They are still refusing to refund my extra shipping cost. A multi billion dollar company can't give me back the $12 they stole from me or make any effort to figure out where my thousand plus dollar package is.
So I write the Newegg customer service a lengthy email about my dissatisfaction and how they might be able to right it- and I listed all of my frustrations above. They respond in about two sentences saying to "check the tracker" which is now adjusted.. and that I need to keep waiting. Still literally zero explanation (which I asked for in at least 3 emails to them and they just ignored such requests), and no effort by them to even call the shipping company to investigate. This is what your customer's money is worth to you? They, as a company, have a responsibility to SERVE their customers when money is exchanged.
So I call the shipping company back and they now say they have no idea why it continued to say it was out for delivery 6 days in a row (despite Newegg rudely dismissing me telling me to "check the tracker" over and over). They also now say that my shipment has in fact been lost (they failed to ever tell me this in the multiple times I called/emailed Newegg and the shipping company). I ask the shipping company how this will be resolved and they said it's not their problem because I'm not their customer, Newegg is (more great customer service on display here). So then I call Newegg back and say okay my shipment is lost, what are you going to do. They still don't refund my additional shipping cost, but instead file a claim (finally) that they say will take up to 10 days to review. No customer service. No refunding my stolen money. No credits or righting their wrongs. Still no laptop in hand.
I have countless other experiences with companies big and small that actually care about their customers. Newegg is not one of them. Issues happen, shipments get lost or delayed, but the lack of customer service and general disrespect is just unacceptable from a business. "I'm sorry your shipment got delayed. We don't know what happened, but we will investigate. Here's your shipping refund and a small credit and we appreciate your patience while we fix this." Customer service 101 folks, it is NOT that hard. Or literally just give me slight reassurance that you care that you lost over $1000 of mine. 0/10 would never buy from there again. And still down all this money with no laptop. Beware.

Wow i really wish i came here first. They have same day delivery in my state of CA, as a matter of fact, its 14 miles one way to the location of their warehouse. So i ordered an SSD drive with same day shipping. my CC was charged right away and even got an email stating it had gone thogh. less then 2 hours later i get another email saying it might be delayed? wait why? "technical difficulties" bull shit you either had to many orders and couldnt deliver them all or something because pulling it off a shelf, boxing it, slapping the label on it and putting it in paco or joses truck for del was to hard. I paid 400 bucks for this, they gave me 50 off, ill get the remainder off my CC company and let them deal with newegg WHAT UTTER BS not that they read this or even respond

3/23 - Ordered HyperX RAM sticks from newegg. 3/25 (3PM) - emailed to cancel order. 3/25 (11PM) - seller emails that package has already shipped. 3/26 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". 3/27 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response; contact new egg who emails seller. 3/28 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. 3/29 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. Multiple calls to newegg - response is (summation) wait. 3/30 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. 3/31 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. 4/1 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. 4/2 - check USPS website for tracking update - "USPS awaiting package". Email to seller - no response. More calls to newegg with no response. 4/3 - USPS receives package 4/5 - USPS delivers package to Chino mailbox. I open package - COUNTERFEIT HYPERX RAM STICKS. I contact newegg furious... all they say is they will send a return label. Nothing about oh we are sorry... we will take immediate action against the seller... this is not our policy... we will refund your money immediately... none of that! All I get is, we'll send a return label for you to return the product. The seller has up to 10 business days to refund the money. So I get a label... it's UPS Ground. It's shipping to New Jersey (it was shipped FROM Inglewood CA). So Newegg really doesn't care about what has happened thru the process of this transaction. No worries - I disputed the transaction with the bank... emailed HyperX with pictures of the products and told them that newegg sold me counterfeit products... and I'm leaving this feedback everywhere I can!
