One of the best spots that we grab some roasted pig and cha sui. Came here on Sunday and the pricing for their delicious cha sui was just $12/lb. We also grabbed a cha sui that my partner and I shared for just $7.50. 5/5 stars for value.

I had a hankering for Peking Style Pork chops to take home, having some leftover rice. While waiting for my order I overheard a manager? speaking English to another customer providing instructions on how to reheat something - most likely a turkey as I was seeing how they had some prepared for customers. Hard to find a "younger" generation of Chinese peeps wanting to stay in the restaurant business so I was really glad. Got my order and the chops were in an open large take out container, open - not really sure I felt about that as a bit of steam was coming out of the grocery bag against my fingers. The box was not even partially closed. I understand if it was closed, it would steam and get soggy...
Nevertheless when I got home I got my craving incredibly satisfied. $15 was really reasonable for about 8 chops cut in half. Only downside was I was hoping some of the pieces were rib cut instead of just center cut. Sauce was just right - not too sweet.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Patricia G.Brooklyn, NY204114493Dec 9, 2023
I go here for original Cantonese food and fresh roasted meats and always a plate of Spareribs in Blackbean Sauce!...call ahead...sometimes they run out of meat. They also have tanks of live fish cooked to order

Great roast duck and I want you to try their Peking duck. They are always busy at the holidays but cheerful. Recommend if you are shopping at three guys in Brooklyn produce.

Ordered delivery from Ubereats and everything was well packed and they followed all order instructions. Got the wontons and it was pretty solid, nice and clean flavors and wontons were plump with a good balance between the shrimp and pork. Also got roast pork and scallion chicken over rice which was OK, the roast pork was a bit dry but the chicken was nice and tender. Got the beef go fun which was also a solid selection and came with good portion of beef that was very tender. Lastly, got the home style fish filet over rice and was really good. Nice flavors and string beans were still very crisp. The rice dishes came with a free soup which was delicious and very light.
Overall, a good go to spot for roast meats and your typical Cantonese dishes. Prices were reasonable and portions were very good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - LoveToEat Z.New York, NY93681525Nov 28, 2022
The roast duck is tender and full of flavors, however the skin is not crispy but still is a four star item.
Sour cabbage is also very good and will definitely order again, another solid item here.
Even the tea is good here. Just 3 tables. Mostly for takeout.
Decent bathroom and very friendly service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 1, 2020Updated review
Besides being one of our usual, reliable lunch spots now, New Yee Li roasts amazing, Chinese-style turkey for Thanksgiving! (Pro tip for next year!) I'd seen their feature about it on the New York Times last year, but called in too late so we didn't get to try it. This year, we called them over a week in advance to secure our turkey.
They were nice enough to help cut it up for us, just like a roast duck, except much bigger. We got half a bird, which came out to be a whopping 6+ lbs of roasted meat ($8/lb). It's hard to make turkey tasty, but they managed to make the meat moist and not overcooked or overly dry. The warm, delicious side of garlicy soy sauce tied it all together. Gravy who??? Although the turkey was room temp / coldish by the time we brought it home, I'd take this Chinese version over any other plain / dry turkey I've ever had.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Jun 22, 2020Previous reviewHave to admit I didn't frequent this restaurant when it was still at its original Chinatown location, but I am SO happy that they've relocated here in Brooklyn, not too far from my family home. They are one of the very few legitimate Cantonese restaurants that recently reopened (in/near Sunset Park area) during the pandemic -- and I'm so grateful that they were able to cater last night's Father's Day dinner. The food met AND exceeded our expectations... great quality, quantities, service, prices, etc.
Standouts: Peking Style Pork Chops, a Canto classic. The sauce was packed separately to ensure freshness and to prevent sogginess of the deep fried goodness. The pieces of meat were chunky and plentiful - just so delicious and WORTH IT for $13.50 an order. Another standout was the House Special Fillet Fish... YUM. Very unique item, as the fish fillets came with chopped up string beans, minced pork, and preserved olives(?). Such a tasty combo, and I've never had this anywhere else before.
We also ordered Clams with Salted Egg Yolk, another newish dish that I don't think we've had before. Apparently the restaurant didn't have any of the cheaper, black clams that they usually use for this dish and had to substitute it with a higher quality white clam, without increasing the price for us, so that was nice!! This dish also had minced pork in it, also v tasty. A bit drier than I would've liked, as I'm used to having saucy clams but still very good, and again very much appreciate the "free" upgrade... However, we just looked at our receipt and noticed that they charged us for an extra dish, perhaps mistakenly duplicated the order of pork chops. (There is an additional $13.50 charge on the receipt) We should've been more careful when picking up/paying, but we decided that it wasn't worth the reconciliation and that we'd just consider it a donation to the business. That's how much we enjoyed the food!
Every dish we ordered was filled to the brim, and they did not skimp on anything. The order of Chinese broccoli seemed to be bottomless - we have plenty of leftovers for today/the week. Despite the mishap/overcharge that we're willing to overlook, very high quality of food for affordable prices and I'm hoping they last through these struggling times and will stay here in Brooklyn as long as they did in Chinatown. We will be back for sure! - Feb 24, 2021
Saw the display window filled with Asian BBQ meats and decided to give it a try. Got half a roasted duck to-go, and some roasted pork. Duck tasted good with enough seasoning, no need to add any more sauce. Price is also pretty decent for the amount of meats. Heard this restaurant was established in Chinatown and relocated to Brooklyn recently baring its name. Will be a repeat customer now.

Small Cantonese restaurant with not many tables. The Chinese bbq here is the best!! With prices going up everywhere, this restaurant kept the price the same! Must try their cha siu and scallion chicken!!
