NAPA provided wrong part for 2013 subaru outback 3.6 engine. Didn't fit. Returned part and supplied them with Advanced auto part number and got the right part. They wouldn't accept a return for the wrong part because their clerk had kept the box and returns are not accepted without box. Will never come back. Great service...not.

Shopped here for ten years until today. Napa has lost a customer over $30. The gents have always been incredible to work with and help with any suggestions, heck even starting the sale of this visit was great when the guys recommended two tools to get the job done. So I said I'll buy them both and if the cheaper one does the trick, I'll bring the other one back and of course buy more parts(don't even need a refund).
Noticed as I left, the receipt said "No Returns on Tools." Should have been my red flag and should have said to cancel the sale right then, but I trusted these guys for 10 years, they won't screw me. First tool took care of the job, so took the other $30 tool back to the store to buy a new power steering pump for $150, serpentine belt for $50, and some other bits and pieces for another $80. Was laughed out the door "read your receipt, it's been that way for 10 years," he said.
Ok, I read my receipt, I lose $30...Napa loses $300 in one visit. I go in there 20+ times a year to buy parts, but no longer. This is why it's now best to buy online, they accept returns and have customer service on both the front end and the back end of the sale.
I'll miss you Napa, it's been a good run but you screwed me, I'll have to go further for parts and tools. I'm all about principal, and you don't seem to have it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hawaii K.Kailua, HI02Aug 16, 2020
Been shopping here for the past 5 years. The service has always been great up until today. Today was told by Warren Irwin (I think that was his last name) a store clerk, "I'm sorry we couldn't give you what you wanted. Now get out of the store." ... I might add there were other customers in the store and he yelled it at me as I was leaving. He was so loud and rude everyone in the store heard it.
All I was trying to do was return unused brake pads with a receipt in the respective box for store credit. The 30 day window had passed per the receipt. I told Warren I was not trying to get money back, but i just wanted to get a store credit. He walked off telling me "Take the receipt for what it is" and refusing to answer my questions and then going off to help a different customer, leaving me there at the counter confused and shocked at how rudely he had dealt with the situation. I approached him asking him what his name was. He mumbled "Warren Irwin. I told him I was going to contact NAPA Corporate and complain about how rude he had been. Then the expletive tirade flew from his mouth as I was leaving the store.
Will never shop at a NAPA store again.
I will be calling the corporate office and the owner of the store tomorrow (Monday) to lodge an official complaint.
So disappointed at how he treated me. All for a $45 set of brake pads I was trying to return with a receipt for a store credit and not money back on my card.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zachary R.Littleton, CO159191Aug 13, 2020
Great service! After looking at three other stores earlier in the day, the cashier at this NAPA was able to quickly find me what I needed. Courteous as well!

This store and the gentleman who works there were great today! I snapped my driver side blade off in a blizzard on Vail pass, switched right to left and rolled the car into Frisco. The gentleman at the store had me in and out with new blades snapped on in 5 minutes (yes, I should learn to do this myself)! Thanks Friend!

Not that you have a lot of choice here in Breckenridge, but NAPA does a great job of helping with your parts needs. If they don't have it, they can get it....and are willing to help with advice /suggestions.

About $173 battery was told I could not be returned. Because my son was caring it on its side as he bought into the store and some acid dripped out of the self venting top. Was told commonsense says you don't carry a battery that way. also was told he didn't know how it was stored. Well it sure wasn't in the truck bouncing around under the hood it was stored on the floor of my truck. warranty is also six years prorate.Explain to the gentleman on Saturday night when I bought it what was going on and they said it was a battery went to a different store AutoZone and they said it was a $19.95 part. It was just a $19.95 part. Was told I didn't work Saturday. Way to take ownership of your store total dick wad. You can sure bet this is getting passed up the corporate chain. This should've been a very easy simple refund.

I continue to have a check engine light that comes on in my 4 Runner due to a catalytic converter code. The staff usually lets me use their code reader to clear the light warning. Today I was told that I had to buy one because I don't spend enough money in there a year. Their staff is rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't waste my time going there since they overcharge anyway. I found the same device online for half the price. I'm sorry that buying a few air filters, washer fluid, antifreeze, headlights, wiper blades, and few other things isn't enough but I'm more than happy to take my business elsewhere. Also, your employees aren't mechanics and shouldn't try to tell me what's wrong with my car when I have had 2 of the four catalytic converters replaces as well as both O2 sensors. I also believe this particular staff member should learn to respect his female elders better.

Dan and team helped me out so much when I landed in their parking lot with a busted alternator. Took time to select the right tools and parts, explain things to me, never made me feel like an inconvenience. Fantastic customer service and I so appreciated it because car trouble fucking sucks. Go spend money here!
