Morning Sun Florist

Second time using them for special-occasion floral arrangements. If you are sick of the FTD-cookie cutter-overpriced flowers that everyone else makes, go to or call Morning Sun! They made an arrangement for my sister today, to commemorate a personal anniversary that she and I share, a happy family event...and I just asked them to use their best discretion to make something lush and beautiful for her (because she is beautiful and unusual and special). She just got it and sent me a picture of it, and was beside herself; it is huge and GORGEOUS! Love supporting them as a small business, sure, but I'm a loyal customer now because of the tremendous quality of their work, their artistic eye and flair, and the excellent value!! Attaching pics of both recent bouquets they have made for my loved ones. They're breathtaking and the photos don't do justice...

Sorry for the late review this florist knows the what customers is and today that is rare jewel. I spoke with the Owner and she was amazing we spoke and she know exactly what I needed for my daughter daughters (age not revealed) but it was gorgeous bouquet of flowers

Was ordering an arrangement from out-of-state for someone in the Centerville area. As my family and friends are spread out across the U.S., I have to rely heavily on websites so that I know what I will be sending when I order (have had a few unfortunate experiences over the years w/ florists--sometimes you don't get what you pay for, esp if you are not very specific). Was disappointed to see that Morning Sun doesn't offer pics online of particular arrangements.

I get it--it's easier for the florist to maintain a website *without* offering potential customers that service. Easier for them to say, "we sent $150-worth of flowers to X", w/o the customer really knowing what was sent.

Because I am usually sending flowers to ppl I know pretty well, they often send me photos of the arrangements. Sometimes, arrangements are what I ordered or worth what I spent--and sometimes not.

No pics of arrangements online = customer having very limited choices or shelling out a fair amount of money on blind faith (I'm not in the latter camp!). Consequently, I can only order X number of stems of X flower in order to really know what the recipient will receive.

It really isn't that much work for florists to put some arrangement pics online. Could even tell customers to call for current pricing of arrangements. Just disappointed that Morning Sun doesn't offer that. Professional website minus that glaring omission. Ordered online from a different florist who had pics.

Have to admit, reading portions of the website extolling Darla's virtues was a bit nauseating. Some customers are just interested in buying nice arrangements; not the travel / blogging adventures of the owner.

Morning Sun created three centerpieces for Thanksgiving tables that were gorgeous and followed my size requests for the shapes (low for conversation and long for rectangular tables) perfectly. I asked for unusual arrangements that could include flowers not commonly used and even vegetables to honor the holiday. They scored on all accounts! Thank you!

Amazing store with wonderful staff from the owner to the delivery drivers! The new location could easily fit in Manhattan and we get to enjoy it right here in Dayton. You never know what varieties of flowers you will find day to day. They must know a secret about finding such beauties. I am always able to find the perfect gift whether it's a man or woman I am buying for since it is so much more than a flower shop.
