Newly opened, the Mongolian BBQ in Henrietta is a fun and inexpensive place to eat. It is not fancy, it is more like street food in a brick and mortar building. Mongolian BBQ starts with an empty bowl. You fill it to capacity with your choice of noodles, vegetables, tofu, meats, onions, garlic and your choice of sauces. Then you take the bowl to the BBQ station which is a round flat top grill top. The chef cooks the contents of the bowl right in front of you, adds the sauce you have selected and then puts it into a plastic takeout container. Take the container to the cash register where it is weighed, you can add a soft drink from a cooler, pay your bill, pick up your utensils and grab your table. The food is light, hot, flavorful and exactly what you wanted to eat; you choose all the ingredients.

So where to begin. 3 different business under one roof. Not sure what could go wrong. Cheap food cheap prices. The food is made 'fresh' gathered from a buffet bar. It is hot and you get to pick what exactly is in your dish. My only wish is that there was more sauce added to the dish. It is truly 'Mongolian' in that the food is cooked on a round hot anvil type stove. We were the only people eating in there so take that for what it's worth,I would eat here again as you can't beat a value based meal.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The health department needs to stop in immediately. There is meat just sitting out, nobody is wearing gloves or hair covers, the guy touched his phone and then touched my food. I took a small bite of my food and immediately spit it out. Absolutely disgusting.

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly was disappointed. First off entering you encounter 3 restaurants under one roof; Bao/Ramen, BBQ, and Mochinuts all the same business, but a bit confusing. We had the Mongolian BBQ, the ingredients were fresh, you pick your own, with a good selection, unfortunately the sauces were quite flavorless. Mine was the Spicy Garlic, from the description I worried it might be too flavorful-but it was bland, same for my partners Brown Sauce. Service was someone cooking and a cashier weighing your food, it was minimal. The interior needs a bit of TLC even though it looks fairly new. Our table clearly wasn't wiped down, window decals were peeling. Outside random old lumber littered one sidewalk next to the entrance an accident waiting to happen.

Fresh, hot and good. Grab a bowl, place in your bowl what you want, veggies, lo mein, pasta, meat and take it to the chef after selecting your sauce. Quick, easy and fairly priced. No alcohol, soft drinks and water. We will be going back. Since it's fairly new, they seem to be working out some kinks but still did a great job and the food was great. Not a fan of eating out of a to go box but I'm sure at some point, they'll just it back in a bowl (hint hint).
