I've never rated restaurants one star before but this restaurant really got me so mad a caucasian woman working at this restaurant was very disrespectful towards me and my family. One of the things she did was made me and my family wait to long to be assign to a table. I believe so the manager was walking around the restaurant I then ask him how long is it that me and my family have to wait to get assign to are seats a whole bunch of mess straight being rude to my family. I've been to so many of these restaurants never had a problem. Then I felt like they over charged me when the first bill came it was like $430 dollars I spoke to one of the workers who presented me the bill and I said is this serious he then offered to go speak to his boss. Then he returned to are table with a different price on the bill for $407 dollars smh we paid it anyways I just feel like they treated my family wrong.

Solid hibachi spot in Sheepshead. The food is fresh and service is good. Drinks are a bit sweet so stick to the wine. I enjoyed my filet mignon & shrimp combo plate with fried rice. Wish they asked what temperature you want your steak cooked at though. Can't complain since it was still tasty and juicy.

For a pre-birthday dinner, I tried something new. Not too new, but something I have not had since before the pandemic, Hibachi.
My initial plan was to spend it at Patrizia's, which is literally right next to this restaurant. At the last minute, I called an audible, since I always walked past it and never tried it out. Well, there is a first time for everything, including restaurants. There are great ones, there are stinkers; and most fall somewhere in between.
This is a restaurant that falls somewhere in between.
Generous portions, overly salty. The liquid salt they use here is over the the top. Some of the rice was not cooked all the way through. The beef was tasty, but the chicken a little dry. The fried noodles were overly seasoned. The starter salad was too wet. The vegetables tasted fresh and had crisp taste to them. The Thai iced tea was not good at all.
I feel as nice as our teppanyaki chef was, I felt he was definitely rushing in his cooking. Everything felt thrown together, his tricks were kinda broad and kitschy. I know it is supposed to be a theatrical performance, but I have had some chefs who really look like they enjoy the practice and go above and beyond to make a fun dinner. This was like seeing one step below the Harlem Globetrotters behind the flat top. I tried to be interested in the spectacle, but I could not.
The staff looked tired and I did not feel they were friendly at all. In fact, they looked like they wanted me out as soon as I was done so they could get the table clear and ready for the next seating.
I should have stuck with my original plan. I misread the entire thing and paid the price by getting sacked by a fairly high bill.
Hopefully next time I will not fumble it all away.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kim T.San Francisco, CA02Apr 25, 2024
My family & I went to Momo Hibachi Steak House to celebrate my oldest grandson's 13th birthday. It was my grandson and his parents 4th visit and my 1st. From the start the service was great and attentive. Food was very tasty and the chef was very entertaining. My grandson was so happy and felt special when they sang happy birthday to him. We plan on returning in the very near future...

So nice and amazing here.
Came on a Saturday night at 9:30pm with no reservations and was able to get seating in the hibachi area!!! I just searched up a restaurant open and near me and MOMO came up.
Although it was a hassle to find the spot, took us about 10 mins driving around to find it on the side street.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
Restaurant was decorated beautifully and had an amazing vibe.
I got Lobster tail and Filet Mignon and a spicy crabmeat roll.
The lychee martinis were so delicious
Would come back and definitely recommend!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Darnell E.Prospect Heights, NY1421Feb 7, 2024

Honestly one of my favorite places to go! It's pretty local to me too so that definitely helps lol! The workers who work the grill are always so funny and friendly and make the time so enjoyable. The food always tastes fresh and the seasoning is spot on. There is dark ambiance with dim lights and it just gives it such a fun feel. The alcoholic drinks there are a bit watered down , could deff use some more liquor and less ice. The prices are pretty good too.

Went to momo for my daughters birthday. Everything was great. My daughter never threw up in her life. 3 hours after dining at momo, my daughter has been vomiting nonstop for the last two hours. Food poisoning. Extremely disturbing and disgusting experience. How can you serve spoiled foood

What bothers me the most about this place is that they add a 18% service charge/tip to all bills, no matter the size of your party. It isn't stated anywhere in the menu and I find that absurd. If the service is good, I should have the decision of leaving whatever tip i want.
