I stopped in this morning, about 5:30am, for gas and needed change for a $20 bill. I started pumping my gas at a prepay pump on my credit card and walked in to get change. Here is how the interaction went with the cashier. (Older male for reference)

Me: Hi, could I get change for this $20. I'm buying gas at the pump.
Cashier: No, I can't do that. I don't have change for that.
Me: So if I bought something you wouldn't have change for a $20?
Cashier: Well, if you were paying for the gas I would.
Me: I'm buying gas, but I won't be buying anything from here ever again.
Cashier: Have a good day.

I understand that stores have policies for changing bills if you are not making a purchase. BUT I was a paying customer, but was not treated as one since I didn't purchase anything from inside the store.

The old man's tone was very rude. I'm fairly confident that he doesn't understand the concept of a paying customer nor the store's policy for changing bills. Maybe I'm the one who doesn't understand.

Either way, I will not patronize this business anymore.

The change in ownership has taken this place in the wrong direction. every aspect has gotten worse. And they have jacked the gas prices $.30 to $.40 higher than the other nearby gas stations. I used to stop here every day. But I'm done.

The subway staff is very slow making food. Two people in front of me in line and it took 15 minutes to get my sub. The girl who made my sandwich made it upside down so the sauce made my sandwich soggy and it fell apart. She also did not cut my footlong and it was very difficult to eat. They were also out of regular mayo which is my favorite part of the sandwich. I had to pay for a sandwich with light mayo which does not taste the same. It was not good.

Easy to get in and out of but price is on the high side in the area. This does have a Subway in it. Another Mobil next exit west is less expensive but a bit harder to get back on the expressway.

Gas station is nice but the older man who works there is rude. I give them my business every morning and have usually had a pleasant experience, but the older gentlemen that works there is not very nice. Too early to deal with that bs
