Terrible company! Told me it would take 6 hours to do the move and it took 14. The charged us $600 more dollars than quoted. They scratched our furniture and wrapped up our items inappropriately.

When I talked with customer service about all the issues, they never got back to me. I would never use this company again.

DISHONEST AND FRUSTRATING!

MBM Movers used to be the best of the best when they were handled locally in NC. They had moved me twice in the past, so I did not hesitate to contact them for our most recent move which was only 12 miles away locally.

First of all, the movers showed up 30 minutes earlier than expected and the driver was rude. He. promptly advised us they were not informed by the office of how much we had to move and did not bring a truck that was large enough to move everything. We ended up renting a truck later to move the rest of our furniture. The driver was unprofessional and requested tools from us to use instead of using his own. We also had to repair a freezer that was damaged by the movers which they denied causing and wasn't noticed by us until after I signed the final paperwork.

I will never again recommend this company to anyone!!!
The entire experience was AWFUL and frustrating, costing us more money to complete our move.............

stay away from this company, they are horrible. I was told our furniture would be picked up on a thursday and delivered either on that friday or saturday, come friday when I called they said it would take 3-14 days for them to deliver our furniture, we had to spend a week in a hotel room, they jacked our price from $1,800 to almost $4,000. Our furniture arrived damaged and we were missing several items. In order for us to get our furniture they faxed over several forms that we had to sign, 1 form said we were under no duress to sign and pay for our furniture, of course we crossed out duress, the other was a power of attorney, can you believe it? they actually wanted us to sign poa over to them for our furniture. Stay away from this company.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The word "horrible" doesn't even come close to describing my recent interactions with MBM Movers. It is very unfortunate that this company has expanded. When they were smaller and handled everything locally in NC the service was wonderful. What I have learned is that they are not equipped to handle cross country moves but they will LIE to you and take your money for a cross country move. I learned this the hard way just 24 hours before they were scheduled to pick up my property!! Be very cautious.

dont do it! by far the worst moving company ever! save yourself the headache and go with another company!

horrible experience does not even come close the describing this experience which at the time of this writing is still going on!!!!!
they missed the pickup date and now we have to pay for our things to be stored so we can get on the way to new jobs.
i had to move my new job start date back a week because these clowns can't get it right. i soooo glad to leave nc, since living here has been real bad. i am a disabled veteran and they treat everyone bad, even at the va where i worked.
they don't return your call, you have to call them and find out what's happpening with your move.
i don't believe anything they tell me....
please spread the word about this moving company and don't believe it when they say they belong to the bbb. they don't!!!!
i hope everyone i tell will tell someone else and they loose their business.........
i won't even give them one star.... it's just to get it posted.
