Always consistent food at any Miller's Ale House. Finally visited this fairly new location. Food and service was great!
Only gripe is wish they were a bit more transparent on beer pricing between a pint and their 23oz drafts! Their pricing on the receipt for a 23oz draft beer is like a dang puzzle! See attached receipt! We had two 23oz draft beers and 1 pint. See receipt and figure that out. By the way, I guess we were charged correctly, but why not just say you are charging me $6.50 for a 23oz beer!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Love the bartenders which is why we go but let me preface that with the food is just barely palatable.
We go because we bought a ton of gift cards. Everytime we go there is some sort of food debacle. Today was no exception... the broccoli came out way way way overcooked and looked like it had been scraped off a leftover plate and reheated. I should have gotten pics but it was basically mush with something odd on top. The bartender was wonderful and offered us something in exchange but we declined.
Restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe but it is very very inconsistent every darn time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Jan 25, 2024Previous reviewI truly wanted to like our local Millers in Lakeland... we have been numerous times because our area does not have a plethora of options.
The food is always a bit off.... Prime rib the first time was shoe leather. Second time we had to send back the chicken as undercooked, a couple weeks ago we tried the pork shank and it came out charred. The rice has come out bland and cold... (pretty easily solved with chicken broth reduction)....
Yet we go back.... The bartenders are all very sweet and timely with their deliveries of food and drink
.....speaking of drinks.... Last time we went I got an unsweet tea which cost us over $4 with tax and tip....
We bought gift cards because of the bonus cards with purchase and once we use them we probably won't go back for a long time.... - Victor W.Brandon, FL1527Feb 21, 2024

The Rueben was amazing. The prime rib was awful. I have never had prime rib that tough. I've had steak there that was very good so felt good about ordering the prime rib. Never again. And the server was less than satisfactory. I gave a 20% tip because we go there not because of the service or food.

Very busy ale house but it's definitely warranted. Had great wings and even better service this past weekend! Always a great place to catch any game but be prepared as it's definitely a busy location.

The food is so good, and Keith is such a great server. Also, Micheal went above and beyond by making us Chocolat Martinis. They were the best in Town. They need to be on the Menu...Go in and try them and Ask for them if you want excellent service. Also a great place to watch a game or fight. They have a lot of Big TVs.

Location is in the back, hidden away. Staff was good, no issues. They were busy but managed to seat us in the bar area quickly. The zinger mtn melt was not the best weve had but still pretty good and the pasta was great. Beer selection is decent. Prices are decent. Atmosphere was good.

My family (me, my husband and two daughters (5 & 7) went to have dinner at Miller's Ale House. The waitress refused to provide me with a pitcher of sangria stating that it had to be served to two people. Last month at the same location with the same people in my party I was served a pitcher. I asked to speak to the manager... He explained that it was "against liquor laws to provide a pitcher to one person." That is simply untrue... Look up FL liquor laws. They can have a policy... however they need to be consistent with their policy. It's very frustrating when you have your mind made up on a specific beverage to only be told a lie. I also think it's absurd that if they'll not provide a pitcher of sangria to one person that they do not sell it by the glass. Also before this craziness happened we ordered spinach artichoke dip... it came out and was lousy. So we will not be returning.

My second time here and was disappointed each time. First time I had the prime rib special and it was over done and tasted like it it had been soaking in a broth bath.
The second time, I had a hamburger and asked for it to be medium- it was over done. Another person had the prime rib and it came over done (!) , and tough. She sent it back and ordered another dinner which took very long to make and ended up taking it home as everyone was finished with their dinners.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
