Midwest Bank and Trust Company

This branch has always given me fantastic service, and up until recently, I was allowed to bring my dog in... Apparently, some dog peed on the floor, and now all dogs are banned. Thanks alot, random dog stranger, for ruining it for the rest of us.

The staff goes out of their way to say hello, they almost all know my name (I've been banking there since I was a kid), will regularly reverse fees for things that were almost certainly my mistake, and don't make you feel like a customer at one of those dozens of OmniCityFirstBankCorpOfWeDon'tGiveAShitAboutYou type places you can find scattered every 10 feet in the neighborhood. Seriously, do these banks need 3 branches within walking distance of each other? All without any semblance of customer service?

They lose one star for giving up their old historic, and fantastic location.

I managed to sneak some pictures (well, ok, they let me) of the insanely cool safety deposit box room before they closed up shop.
