I would give 0 stars if possible. I have a 2024 Nissan Frontier with 2429 miles. It was rejected at State Inspection because it had a New York Safety Inspection sticker on the windshield. I fail to see how this makes the vehicle unsafe to drive, and furthermore I'm pretty sure that step number 1 in the process is to remove any previous inspection sticker. The shop wanted $40 dollars to remove the sticker. When I refused, they rejected the vehicle and charged me $20. The shop is engaging in usurious practices and scamming the public for more money. A current safety inspection sticker from another state does not make the vehicle unsafe to drive and therefore the vehicle should have passed the safety inspection. Do not go to these scammers.

Came here for a state inspection; failed. One of the "issues" was that my "brake pads were not making contact with my rotors". I was confused because those pads and rotors were basically new.
Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went home to take a closer look with my dad and husband.
We took everything apart just to find out my brake pads and rotors are completely fine.
I can only assume that they failed me because they thought I was going to pay them $800+ dollars on the spot for the bullshit they were selling me.

I'll put as much effort into this review as they did with my "service."
Went on a Sunday to replace all tires. Please note the following:
- The service took a total of under 4 hours.
- The mechanic was near the vehicle the entire time but did one side tires and then lollygagged for over an hour until prompted by his manager.
- Mechanic hurriedly replaced the other side tires but in the process scratched THE HELL out of the rims. No single rim escaped the wrath of his scratches.
- Failed to properly inflate the right side tires before completing the work order.
- Installed the valve stem caps by one thread (that's not hyperbole).
Seems like some nitpicking and I would normally agree. I resisted doing a review until today when I discovered more scratches on the driver's side door. Now I'm just disappointed I didn't write this much sooner; I might have saved someone else from having a similar experience.

Horrible service. Especially if you are an older woman. It took a male relative to go into the store to get the service that was already paid for completed.

This is the worst place I've ever had car service. James, a so-called manager, is ridiculously rude and lied/contradicted himself numerous times. He got very angry when I called him out on it. He overcharged because he thought I wouldn't know better. Another shop charged me $300 and Midas/James charged $600. TRUTH! He said my friend who was on speaker phone trying to help me, was eavesdropping. I kid you not. He called me "trouble" when I tried to stand up for myself. My whole experience at Midas was horrible. I reported him to Midas Corporate but nothing has become of it so far because they're a franchise. It's sad Midas can get away with this and stay in business. James needs to be gone or he will eventually ruin the 2 VB locations.

They do have a nice waiting room. That's all I can find nice to say. I've used this store off and on for several years. Recently was told by James that they don't service trans. that have over 75,000 miles. He told me that was store policy. My policy is to not do business with stores that are not up front. This was my first experience in 50+ years of owning Trucks and Cars that a garage turned away about $400.00 worth of business.

I've never really had any luck at this place, over priced and, after this last experience, I will not be returning. Brought my truck in for a state inspection, passed the last two with no issues yet they failed me for having LED lights on my license plates. They said that the lights were the incorrect ones but they are factory and, as I said, I passed the last two years at different locations with no problems. I called another place (dropping off tomorrow) tech there said that the LED lights were correct and will not be an issue. Midas said that replacing the lights would cost an additional $80 and still charged $20 for failing. Shady. On the positive side, the lady at the front desk was very friendly.

Hello Americans,
I had an attempt to fix my car at the Cherry Hill, NJ Midas for the charge $465 and now I can't even drive my. My car needed brake brake line hoses, but instead the shop charged me for brake pads and rotor, which caused one caliper to freeze up and now I can't drive my car. I live in the Newport News, so when I talked to Bubba, the Newport News shop manager he told me I should blank myself because MIdas shops never do bad work, plus don't bring your car to my shop because we don't like you kind hear
