27278993Sep 1, 2021I'm so sad they don't have little sample containers anymore! It was fun to try the different flavors before choosing one. Dang covid!
It was nice that they had a hand sanitizing station before you fill up your bowl. They had lots of good flavors to choose and tons of toppings! I'm glad the toppings aren't in tiny individual containers anymore.
This was a fun place to take the family to get a sweet treat after school. It's in our regular rotation.

The yogurt is delicious, but the service is bad and its really dirty. I recommend the Ogden location they are always clean. I rather drive farther because I know that location is always maintained better than the Layton location.

The thing that really upsets me is that they have the AUDACITY to ask for a tip at checkout at a SELF SERVE ice cream place! What am I tipping for?! This is my abomination. The employee literally just chills behind the counter to ring you up, cleans up and refills soft serve machines. WHAT AMAZING PERSONAL SERVICE AM I TIPPING FOR?!?! Pay your employees what they're worth and quit begging your customers at checkout!

I visited Menchie's again yesterday. I asked one of the young girls if there was caffeine in the Macchiato yogurt. She said she didn't know. Okay, owner, your employees should know this! Again, the self-service was cashier only like a Target, 7-11, CVS, etc. so no tip given. They don't ask for a tip at Inn n Out Burger and they are working hard and quickly.

The yogurt was good but the placement of the yogurt dispensers behind the cash register is a tight space. People were crossing over each other to get sample cups, to get to the trash cans, and to get to the yogurt. It was all self serve. I went to pay and the payment pad prompts for a tip. That was extremely irritating. A tip for what? The employees did nothing for me. Just because you serve food doesn't mean an automatic tip. Employees are working hard at Target too next door and don't get tips!

Your store is dirty, and garbages we're full in bathroom right at opening. It was apparent that the night before wasn't cleaned up at opening the next day.

Always has great flavor options and a TON of choices for toppings. Every one who has worked there when we visited has been super helpful and happy. Clean and organized. Great option to satisfy our fro yo cravings!!

Besides that, the food is fantastic, and has something for everyone. It is clean and organized each time I go, and has tasting cups for better sanitation. It's always hard to decide which flavor to get, since they're all great. Can be a bit expensive, but definitely worth the visit and price.
