Yes, how I have fallen. One day eating lunch at Joe's Stone Crab and the next day grabbing a bite at McDonald's and eating in my car! I guess that's what happens when you are running around for customers and absolutely slammed at work.

Well, McDonalds is McDonalds but the differences, as with any franchise, have to do with service and freshness of the food. I just had to chime in to confirm other reviews that the service here is awful. There were only a couple of people in there and it took forever to get my meal. The staff seemed to be just standing around. When I finally asked where my meal was, it was just sitting in the prep area. At least the server put new fries in my bag. I added an extra star because the fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. Mickey D fries are actually one of my guilty pleasures. The artisan chicken sandwich was cold.

This location is in the lobby of Broward General so there are not too many options if you want good really fast. However, this fast food was not fast! I recommend getting food at the Starbucks (also in the lobby) or taking a few minutes to walk to the hospital cafeteria. Believe it or not, the cafeteria here is not bad and has some healthy options!

Though the food is McDonald's, it's not your typical McDonald's. It's located within a hospital, the Broward Health Medical Center on Andrews. Hence it is one of those that have captured customers, meaning those with few if any choices of where to eat. Though spotlessly clean and nice, and though I'm not really sure of it, it seems the prices are somewhat higher. But the one thing I am sure of is that the service is much more lackadaisical, slow and uncaring than in most regular McDonald's.

In comparing this particular McDonald's with others, the best I can rate it is Two Stars as I've seen better.

Order a cheese burger meal for lunch. When I arrived at the office I notice they gave me bread and cheese .. No PATTY.

Staff is not only RUDE and slow they should be ashamed of themselves !!
This location is based in a hospital where people are in some cases scared for their loved ones and this staff could care less!
Staff were screaming at each other about who needs to do what work cursing while customers awaited there cold food!
Tables dirty trash full everywhere and I feel they must have a contest going on who could move the slowest! (And that's being nice)

This has to be the SLOWEST McDonald's ever! Rude staff and a woman went in lunch the only cook! When my order was in the screen! 35 minutes for a frickin cheeseburger!!!!

Employees are mean and rude, do not know nothing about respect and just to complete a very bad experience they cloned my card and charge me for extra purchase never made... thank God my bank called me!
Just stay away of this location!!!!! Beware!!!!

Not clean, staff is very rude. Visiting this location while on vacation and was not impressed. McDonald's should be embarrassed

It's 9pm, two customers in dining area. All the tables are dirty and trashes full. Receipt time stamped on table says 5:30. Hope a MacDonalds representative reads this. You would think the Hospital Oversite Manager would address. Low reviews continue....

The experience here is awful! They are very SLOW! Never been to a McDonald's as slow as this one and I've frequented locations all of the world. Every day the line is out the door NOT because they are super busy but because each employee only takes one order and fulfills that order before taking the next guests order. Obviously, they are scored corporately on their time because as soon as they take a order they run to push a button on the screen to clear the order. Customer service sucks and I watched an employee "manager" curse out a customer because she interrupted his social hour laughing with his friends instead of taking orders. He even threatened this hospital employee with physical violence. With McDonald's being inside an extremely busy hospital serving employees and patients you would think they would be more accommodating and pleasant especially with only 30 mins breaks using half of our much deserved breaks standing in line!!
