I have been a frequent customer for three years and I drive past 2 different Massey's (Westerville and Gahanna) because the people are so nice and the pizza is consistently great BUT the experience we had a few days ago has left me with a bad taste and customer service was terrible. My 90 year old mother is in assisted living and loves Massey's pizza. Ordered pick up and picked it up in the 20 minute timeframe. The pizza was black on the bottom and pizza dry. She called and spoke with a "punk" who told her there was nothing he could do but give her 10% discount if she didn't bring the pizza back. This pizza was dropped off and at 90 years old had no way to 'return' the pizza. Two days later I was going to visit, called and asked for replacement. They refused since she didn't bring the pizza back. From now on, I will save gas and time and order from a different place as they are not all like this!
Funny how a great customer has one bad experience and they lose me forever.
Just check your pizza before you leave the restaurant is my suggestion because they will send out anything that comes out of the oven. It's our loss also but an example of customer service in today's world. Sad.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kim W.Blacklick, OH47219149Nov 16, 2023

I'll first start off saying the pizza is pretty good. But as for the service goes. It's not so good. Be careful when ordering online. Sometimes the website will still charge you but not process your order and tell you to call the store. When you call the store they tell you there's nothing they play it off and tell you they will find out what happened and call you back. Never call back but when you reach out to them they will say there's nothing they can do. I understand they don't have the order but if some comes in and shows you a copy of their bank saying they was charged but no order, probably should fix it maybe process the order or refund. Has to to contract corporate for a refund only to be told it was a franchise store but they will reach out to the owner for a refund. Someone processed the refund and I'm grateful for that but the customer service was piss poor.

I do not recommend this place if you want a good pizza. It is neighborhood, so that makes it convenient, but the pizza taste very bland IMO.

Awful experience. They delivered the wrong pizzas, and then delivered them 20 minutes late. To make matters worse, when I called back to complain, the "General Manager" named Jerry got upset because i wouldn't let him speak. Awwww. I asked him what he was going to do, and he offered a discount on a future order. No, that is rude and presumptuous.

Great quality pizza! The pepperoni is always edge to edge! And if you ever have the chance to pick your pizza up, Brian is a hoot and down right joy! He will surely put a smile on your face!

I grew up on Massey's original Whitehall location so I speak from years of experience. I know what their pizza crust should taste like and the last two out of three times I've visited this location, they've been off their game. We dined there on Sunday evening and the crust was a dried up mess similar to eating a soda cracker. It wasn't moist enough to hold any corn meal which is critical to their normally great crust. Like I said, second time this has happened recently. I think we will be visiting the Whitehall location for the next few visits to revisit what this location seems to be lacking! Reynoldsburg manager/owner, hope you read this!

FRANCHISERS FOLLY. An east-side staple for decades, Massey's Pizza used to be great. I visit this particular locale occasionally and usually without incident. I ordered online Saturday 4/15/23 at 11:51 AM. The site promised a 20-minute finish time. So I mounted 'ole Fury and rode into town about 12:11. Nope. Not done. Then the fella at the drive-thru told me to hang there, unless another car pulled up behind me...which it quickly did. So I took his advice and made a lap around the place like I was in a parade or something. Then waited another seven minutes. Fourteen minutes later, a different ruffian---this one resembling a deranged fortune-teller---asks me if I had an order in. So Mata Hari goes back in and finally produces my food, featuring a Massey's version of antipasto salad with more lettuce than the Iceberg warehouse, and pizza burned like it was accused of withcraft. So much for a Saturday treat....you guys get two stars for the past memories.

We like Massies. Reynoldsburg is blessed with some great pizza... Donato's, Dominos, Vick's, Tyler's. And Massies. We missed it this year during their work on the place.
The work was primarily in the kitchen... I see a couple of booth tables but the rest is the traditional table places. We tend to alternate between pizza and subs. Tonite is a sub night. We like the great guido... and we have one of those and the Guido supreme with extra meat, on order. Each of the pizza places we like share a lot in common in options available.
Some will argue vigorously over their favorite being better than all others.
I just like good food. Massies certainly provides that.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
