So I decided to try Mangia again and my experience this time was so much better than the previous visit. We were immediately greeted and the hostess sat us at a booth. The restaurant itself is a nice size and decorated beautifully. Our waitress was super nice and gave us some recommendations, which we tried. And I am so glad we listened to her because the food was great!! This is the 3rd Italian restaurant I have visited in this city and this one by far is the best! I ordered the baked blackened chicken pasta and added shrimp. The food came out hot and fresh. The only negative I had was it had a lot of cream sauce, but other than that, it was delicious. We also ordered side salads and again based on the waitress's recommendation, I had the blueberry cheesecake. Omg! It was so delicious and the blueberries were sweet. Great way to top off our dinner! All in all, great food and the staff waa great so will definitely be back.

We waited about 10 minutes and had not been greeted by our waitress, so then the bartender came over and took our drink order and brought us our drinks. We sat for about another 6 to 7 minutes and then our waitress, Kristy finally came over to our table. Without introducing herself, she said "are you ready to order?" Since this was my first time here and also having experience in restaurants, I knew this was not a "proper" greeting. I then asked her for her name, which she gave and then she apologized and then also indicated that had had a busy evening. I told her I completely understand and thought this would help relieve her of her feelings and responsibilities, but it did not. We went on and ordered our food. After about 10 minutes, our side salads came. After eating our salads, the empty dishes sat on our table for about 10 minutes. Since our waitress did not come to pick them up, I placed the dishes on the empty table next to us. Just FYI, they weren't picked up until right before we left. We eventually ordered our main dish and after about 5 minutes, Kristy came back and said that the dish was not available due to the vegetables that they did not have. Mind you, Publix is literally next door. I then ordered another dish and eventually, we got our order which was brought out by another waiter. After eating a few bites, I noticed that Kristy wrung up the wrong dish. The dish I ordered did not come with bacon, but the one in front of me, after digging through it, had bacon. After getting her attention and telling her that, she advised that she did ring up the correct order and she did offer to send it back and correct it, but I told her no worries, that I would go ahead and keep it. Meanwhile, we had not received our extra drink order, side of ranch, or side of breadsticks. Actually, Kristy never came back to our table to make sure our order was correct or if we needed refills or even if the food tasted good or if we even needed extra napkins, etc. The only time she came over voluntarily, was to take our order (again without a proper greeting) and bring us the receipt. We noticed on the receipt that Kristy did in fact put in the wrong dish... smh. Later, the bartender which I found out is also the floor manager, came over probably after seeing how distraught I was, and asked about my experience. I then explained everything to her and then asked to speak to the owner since she said he was there. The bartender/floor manager came back from the back of the kitchen and said the owner (I think his name is John) could not come out to speak to us that he was too busy and all she did was apologize. She did not offer to rectify the issue or to comp the ticket or anything. After explaining that I write reviews pretty regularly and have had past restaurant experience, her lack of empathy truly troubled me. I told her this was my first and last time ever patronizing this restaurant. And again all she did was apologize.

Not the best Italian food we've had. The food is eatable and the service is great. The restaurant is clean and a wonderful place for pizza with the family.

We had a great meal at Mangia. The staff was very kind, professional and attentive. The breadsticks were hot and phenomenal. My wife had the shrimp scampi and she loved it! I had pizza and it was thick and filling and you'll have leftovers to enjoy the next day. Definitely kid friendly as well. I recommend this spot!

Poor service. I've called in for a pickup twice and when I got there, I stood in the lobby for at least 10 minutes. I left and called back to cancel my order.

Mangia is a wonderful place to visit for amazing Italian cuisine. They are typically not very busy and the staff is wonderful.

We've ordered from Mangia several times and the food is always really good! This is the first time we dined inside and it was a good experience!
There is plenty of dining spice inside with both booths and tables. They're all spread out so you don't feel like you're right on top of another table. It doesn't seem to be super busy inside each time we've gone. Carry out orders seem to be more popular than dine in. We were seated without a wait.
The service was both fast and friendly. Our waitress Kristin was awesome and did a fantastic job. All the food was delicious and came in fairly large portions. I highly recommend trying the cheesy bread and hummus platter if you're looking for an appetizer. The Greek salad is also tasty. If you're looking for pasta, you can't go wrong with the blackened chicken Alfredo.
The coolest thing about this restaurant is they have an autonomous robot bring your food from the kitchen to your table. I've never seen this anywhere else and we thought it was super cool. They also have a really neat spinning gelato freezer.
They have soo many options for dessert and they're all outstanding. You can sample the gelato flavors which there are a ton. They also have tiramisu and cheesecake that we loved.
Highly recommend checking this place out! We will be back soonHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2021
We dropped by with a party of 12 on a Sunday afternoon. There's plenty of parking, and the inside of the restaurant is very well-kept.
Our server was incredibly polite and attentive throughout our entire experience. We had a bit of a rowdy group, and she made dining at Mangia a pleasant experience by joking along with us.
We ordered the breadsticks and mozzarella cheese sticks for appetizers, and they were both hot, fresh and delicious. I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo as an entrée and it was fantastic! We also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad, and it was fresh and plentiful.
The menu is quite extensive, so you should have no problem finding something you'll enjoy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
