I've had the pleasure of getting 2 items fixed in this week. I've been walking around with a broken speaker for over a year. I could not hear any phone calls through my cell phone speaker and was forced to take every call on speaker phone. Initially I was quoted $70 through YELP to fix my problem, however after further investigation in person, they said it was a small fix that could be done for $40 (and didn't need to replace the full speaker).
Twenty minutes later, and that was perhaps the BEST $40 I ever spent!
I was impressed that my partner was able to fix his screen, 15 minutes of repair, and for $60 CHEAPER than every other place that he had asked about swapping his iPhone 11 Pro screen out. The simple fix cured his inability to log into the phone, and they politely squeezed him in during the last 30 minutes before the store closed.
Great customer service. Great price! I'm sad I ever sent my son ANYWHERE else.

Kiarash M.West San Jose, San Jose, CA244944Apr 21, 2024They let me know that they can fix my phone but when they saw it, they didn't know how the camera mechanism works. I drove all the way there to wait there for 20 mins and then they say they don't even know how it can be fixed!
Update after the owner response:
1) I decide to say how much is my budget, u didn't even give the estimate as you promised after I came to ur shop
2) My car's camera shows I was there 17 mins and 26 seconds. what's the reason of you lying ?! Provide the store camera timestamp here if you really believe it's 5 mins. I will change my review to 5 stars if u prove you were out only 5 mins.

Thank you for your comment, sir! But Some mistakes I need to comment here definitely!
Firstly, We don’t know what problem exactly of your phone, that’s why I asked to bring the phone to have a test here! We never say any problem will be fixed by us!
Otherwise, your camera can’t be fixed is because your component is hard to order and you also have no more budget to repair both camera & screen!
Thirdly, you said you want to repair the screen and you regretted after we order the part, there will be extra fee exists by returning this part, we even didn’t mention this when you were here in this situation!
Lastly, you said you wait 20 mins in the store, the actual thing is the staff went to restroom within 5 mins, we do have the camera in our store, so I don’t know why you lie!

It turned out the replaced battery was cheap, and it made my phone too hot. As a result, a few months later, I had to take my phone to a more reputable shop for battery and screen repair due to the heat.
The repair at this place was fast. At first, I was skeptical about this place because it's inside a not-so-clean Chinese grocery store. However, this store was able to repair the back of my iPhone while no other stores in town could do it. Most importantly, it only costs $150 and is done in two hours! I don't think you could find this price and the short turnaround time anywhere in South Bay.
The staff doesn't BS with you. She just took the phone, turned off the device, got the job done efficiently, and charged a very reasonable price.
There's no need to look around. I highly recommend this place for phone repair.

The lady was super courteous and had 1 staff member who did the work properly. Now my screen looks brand new free of cracks and I don't have to keep charging my phone every 6 hours lol. Got a quote on Yelp from MY Phone Repair. Ended up going with them since they had the most competitive pricing. My mom had damaged her ipad 10 screen and was looking to get it replaced.
The spot is right next to Marina foods. Parking can be chaotic during peak hours.
It took them a few days to order the screen, which wasn't a big deal since my mom wasn't in a rush. Unfortunately, after we brought it back home, my mom noticed some screen issues as there were shadows appearing. I immediately texted the number and they said they would replace it (but would take additional days to re-order a new screen).
Recommendation to the business would be to stock more inventory on screens, especially newer gens, so customers would be more willing to go with them. Docking a star for the mess up on the first go around and needing to wait longer.
Ended up costing $120 to replace the screen. They mentioned they have some warranty on it...hopefully it holds up.
Definitely test the screen there to ensure it looks ok upon receipt.

My teenage daughter has a nack for dropping things whenever she sees insects. Her iPhone X was the latest victim and it cracked her screen which lead to the screen being unreadable. M Y responded immediately to my request, gave me the best price, and I was in and out of there with a front screen repair in 20min. The back screen, however, will take longer and will likely be the next visit.

So after I had my phone screen repaired and was super happy about it, I noticed my phone battery started to die quickly.
I can get through the day if I don't use my phone much... but on days I'm just even taking a lot of photos, my phone dies before dinner.

Longer story/rant about getting my iphone screen repaired, just so you avoid the time I wasted:
I tried to do my due diligence by booking through the Apple official service repair website. One of the options through Apple, is Best Buy on Santana Row. I made an appointment, days in advance, since same day appointments are rarely available, only to get there and have the guy tell me they didn't carry my screen. I asked if they could order it, or let me know when they had it in stock, and he said he couldn't do either of those things, and that Apple gives them whatever items every now and then that they have no control over. WHY did I make an appointment through Apple specifying my exact need and exact phone that needed to be repaired DAYS in advance to have my time wasted?? He did offer to call other Best Buys to check, but I had already planned my day around waiting around Santana Row so declined.
I think that would've cost me $279. gasp. glad they didn't have it in retrospect.
Then I thought F apple, and booked an appt at UBreakIFix, which is about a block away from this spot. Again, booked ahead on a weekday, to get there and be told it would take at least 2 hours. I also had to sign some super long contract. Who knows what organ I was signing away.
He said he could either do an official apple screen at the same rate as apple, or a fake/compatible one for about $100 less, but that I would get some weird annoying alert for a week. I didn't have time to wait 2 hours, so left.
I'm so glad I ended up at M Y Phone Repair randomly. Super jenky looking shop at the right side of Marina grocery. They told me to come back in 20 minutes, no weird contract to sign, and phone looks great- they even put a screen protector on it. At first I thought I messed up by being a cheapo because that night the phone screen seemed to turn on randomly as if I was touching it, but that went away very quickly and I've been very happy with my screen! - Koba N.Sunnyvale, CA011Apr 22, 2024
