We're so pleased to have found this repair shop! We're from Texas and didn't have many recommendations to go on when looking for a place to take care of our aging Honda. Believe we found MJ on the AAA website. They are the most efficient & effective mechanics and more importantly, the most honest mechanics we've ever dealt with. A couple of times when the Honda exhibited some quirks and they could've charged us for repairs, they advised us not to worry and that the 'quirks' didn't affect the performance of the car. How about that for honesty!
Be sure to make a reservation--you'll probably speak with Chris--because they book up fast!

I'm a first-time customer and I had quite an experience here.

Upon dropping off my car for an inspection, the gentleman who helped me--I believe his name was Chris--was helpful, friendly, and professional. He called me a couple of hours later to let me know that I would need new brakes soon as a courtesy, but that my car passed the inspection and that I could come get it any time before closing, which is 5pm.

I had an unexpectedly long meeting and had to call an Uber to get to from my remote office to the shop in time. As soon as I entered the shop to pick up my car, I realized I had left my phone (which has all of my credit cards, ID, money, etc. in the case) in the Uber driver's car.

In a panic, I explained what had just happened and the gentleman offered to let me use the shop's WIFI to alert my Uber driver of my lost wallet/phone. Once we alerted her, she was kind enough to drive back after her latest fare which took about an hour. Even though the shop was closed, I was offered to wait in the office until my Uber driver arrived and treated to some fun conversation in the meantime.

I'll definitely be back.

Just got my state inspection and emissions test here - I think $67 is a pretty good deal!

My tires passed inspection but just barely... they gave me a quote with labor include and they were also very good prices... will probably go back to get my tires there.

I took my car here for its annual inspection and things could not have gone smoother. The lot and garage are small, which can make dropping of the car a little tricky. But hey, that means other people trust this garage too, no? My car was awkwardly parked behind the CVS across the street when I went to pick it up with some other cars. To be fair, they did offer to get it for me.

I dropped off my car the night before and stupidly forgot to leave my insurance/registration. When I returned in the am to drop off those forms, my insurance card was expired and Mike could not have been nicer about calling the insurance company to take care of my mistake. My car was done by 11 a.m., but they are open till 5 p.m.

Granted, my review may be a little biased since I did not need any actual work done on my car, but family members have taken their car here and were pleased with the service.

So, if you need a local garage in the South Hills that won't rip you off, go see Mike.

My girlfriend and I have both taken our cars here for inspections and both times they told us we needed several hundred dollars on repairs to pass. After getting a second opinion both cars passed with none of the same "issues" being found. They did a battery repair for me and were reasonable, but I do not trust them and they overcharge. Don't go to them for an inspection.

I work a really crazy schedule, like yesterday I worked 2pm to 12 am and today I work 12pm to 10pm, so it's not like I have an abundance of free time. I have an engagement this weekend 5 hours away and the a/c in my car isn't working so I had to find a place close and an appointment early. I found one at a local mechanic literally 3 minutes from my house. Booked a 9am appointment online and got a confirmation via text. I reluctantly woke up on time this morning, had a cup of coffee and headed to the shop. There was no place to park or any signage indicating where to do so. Regardless, I walked in and the guy asked for my name and he found it on the appointment list only to tell me I'd be getting in at 11. 11?! Why even bother making an appointment?! Why let your customers make an appointment if you have full bays at 8 am! Why tell me I should've been there at 8am when I was never told that?! I literally had to scramble to find another place to get this checked out as I truly only have 3 hours tomorrow to accomplish this now. Great job on customer service, dude, great freakin' job.

I took my car here on the recommendation of my son who uses MJ Automotive Service all the time. He told me how great they were and his review could not have been more accurate. Kept me informed the entire process, reviewed recall information on my vehicle and advised that the repairs should be free from Ford. They were correct! If you want to deal with honest, knowledgeable and friendly mechanics, this is where you should take your car for service. I will be a returning customer.
