i had a good experience with the people at Luna's. not shady or sleazy or pushy. the camaro i bought from them has been solid for the last 3 years.
they did exactly what they said they would when some issues came up, which of course can be expected when buying a used car.
they went over every part of the contract.
im gonna shop there again for sure.
you should as well !!

I have bought now 3 vehicles from this family owned dealer and could not be happier with my purchase. They stand behind their vehicles and always follow through on their promises. If your credit is less than perfect and you are on a budget for a good, reliable vehicle there is no better place to go than Luna's Auto Sales.

I have always experienced prompt, professional and friendly service. The staff is knowledgable, accomidating and friendly. They have a great revolving inventory from suvs to compact vehicles, and always priced correct and fairly.
I take pride in supporting local businesses when I can and this place is no exception. They are local, established and resourceful. I thought I would not be able to get financing due to recent dings on my credit and these people got me financed with no hesitation. I also purchased 2 of the best vehicles I have ever owned frok them, and I have owned nearly 30 cars in my time. You can tell that this local place definitely values quality over quantity, and I highly respect that.
I could not say enough good things about this place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great car who has credit history trouble, or for those who would rather not go to a major dealership to buy a vehicle.
Thanks to all the staff at Lunas for all your help. I plan and look forward to coming here for my next few vehicle purchases. 
Sara A.Santa Rosa, CA0142Jun 25, 2018I had a awful experience buying my first car here about two years ago, the reason I'm writing the review now is because I Just bought a used car from a completely respectable business and I'm sitting here thinking about what pieces of crap all the Luna's employees are - there cars all have problems ( less than 3 weeks after I bought it it started leaking fluids and over heating ) and the only reason they have my money back was my father new the owner and called him personally and was like wtf ... this place should be looked into and shut down. NOT EVERY USED CAR PLACE IS THIS BAD AND NOW I KNOW THAT.

Good Morning Sara, not sure what vehicle you purchased and don't recall having you as a customer but I would like to began by apologizing for your bad experience. I'd like to clarify that Lunas does one month warranty on all vehicles (as a curtesy) because we know they are USED cars and mechanical things can go wrong with USED cars as well as new ones. Customers sign they purchase the vehicle AS-IS NO WARRANTY at the time of the sale, but as a curtesy we offer free repairs on the first week after purchase. If anything comes up after the week up to a month, we cover half of the repair at wholesale price at our mechanic shop. If at that point the customer is unhappy with any repairs that came up and the car still continues to have issues we RETURN THEIR DOWNPAYMENT, WE DO THIS FOR ALL CUSTOMERS (not sure who your father is but we do this or ALL of our customers) . We also offer our mechanic shop to our customers for better prices on repairs, as long as they own any vehicle purchased at Luna's Auto Sales. Again sorry for you bad experience and I am glad you found a vehicle you are now content with.
Spencer B.Santa Rosa, CA3712Feb 23, 2018Worst experience ever, bought a 04 mini cooper. 20 minutes on my way home the transmission locks up. I take it into a specialist they tell me it needs a new transmission. So I take the car back they have it checked out and tell me it needs a new transmission and it's going to cost 750 plus for the work. The service paper work in the glove box says the transmission is failing. Now I'm paying for a broken vehicle.. they were not helpful at all. Rude about it..

You my friend were a special case, 1 in 60 cars we sell have an issue hence they are used cars! We do a safety inspection prior to putting the vehicles up for sale. This car in deed passed its inspection. We do not sell our vehicles with warranty therefore you are buying it As-IS we offer the customers 30 day warranty solely to be ethical not because you purchased that option. Like I said you are a special case you did not come back to get the car repaired after we offered to help with repairs. And we both know the vehicle was taken away for other reasons not because of the mechanical issue you claimed it had yet never brought in to be repaired.

So i went to lunas and bought a 2001 nissan exterra and traded in a 2002 pt cruiser and everything seemed good till i got a letter from dmv saying to renew my registration on the pt cruiser no biggie call i call lunas they say they will take care of it, cool. Well couple months go by and i get letter in the mail, $275 parking citation the pt cruiser was abandoned in Novato, ca. I call lunas and explain what happened get transfered a couple times and finally some asks me to send them copies of everything and they will take care of it well i tell him how can i trust him to take care of it this time i tell him going to write this review and he gets mad and calls me a clown. Needless to say i would rather walk than buy a car from them ever again.

Meaghan F.El Cerrito, CA13242Apr 17, 2018Nightmare of an experience at this establishment. Repoed our car when we had made our payment not even 30 days prior. We had only $300 left to pay on our Audi, had spoken to the manager late March & agreed verbally that it would be paid off in full mid April. Woke up April 16th & the car was gone. Had to pay $500 to get it out of the repo lot. Absolutely ridiculous. No phone call, no notice, nothing. And to repo a car with $300 left on it? Clearly the goal was to resell the car to turn double profit on it. In addition after we went in and paid the car to get the pink slip, they tried to withhold the release paperwork for the repo lot. I had to threaten to get the police involved. Not people I would ever recommend doing business w/. Total loan sharks. Will be seeking legal advisers on the matter to see if we can get reimbursed for the repo fee, the day of work missed and over 100 miles worth of gas.

Again Sorry for the bad experience Meaghan. We went back and forth on LUNAS AUTO SALES Facebook page on our response to her comment if anyone reading this wants to hear our side. The Finance company repossessed the vehicle NOT US, we were only forced to buyback loan for no payment (account was full recourse) . The finance company never closed the repo order it was not our fault the vehicle was picked up.
