This is my go to big box store . Reasons I like it
The inventory is typically in stock. Appears to be well run store. I have had some exceptional staff help me over the years. Their app works great to locate items in the store. (Take note Target).
They offer 10% off of everything all the time to veterans! They have reserved parking spaces for combat wounded veterans and veterans. I've never seen anyone else do this!
They hire disabled folks to work the cash registers.
This store walks the talk.

I placed an online order for delivery to my home address. I ordered 4 items but only 3 were delivered. The 4th item was held and the store responsible for shipping my order for me to pick up. The store is over an hour's drive from my home AND I do not have a car. That is why I wanted the order to be delivered! I called for customer support but waited for over 35 minutes for a representative only to be told that I was expected to go to the store to retrieve the rest of my order. The online website for Lowes is not well designed. I got no confirmation on the order via email even though my email address was required to complete the order. I will never attempt to buy anything from Lowes again.

Ordered a dishwasher with a delivery date set up. Day of delivery, got a call road was flooded and truck couldn't deliver washer. I live in SE Wisconsin, plenty of roads around us. Anyways was told dishwasher could be delivered next morning 8am-12 window. Got a call later that night dishwasher couldn't be delivered until 2 days later. Cancelled order, will get dishwasher somewhere else. Won't be purchasing anything from Lowe's anymore!

Ordered a new grill on a holiday weekend. They assembled it free of charge and had it ready and waiting. Zero hassle, better price than THD and ACE. Excellent experience.

This is not to pan Lowe's so much as it is to let people know that, if you buy a refrigerator from them, beware of Frigidaire. We purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator about a month ago and it does not cool. Lowe's does not take care of this issue beyond two days (48 hours to cool according to Frigidaire). Try calling Frigidaire's warranty service and you go through a two minute menu only to be told to call back because they are experiencing too many calls. Over and over again. What does this tell you? We have had to go to an outside service to repair the refrigerator at our own expense. Lowe's just sells these things and you are on your own after that. We purchased the extended warranty. Can' wait to see how that works out. Also, came dented and Lowe's delivery service promised but has not paid an adjustment fee back to us.

The workers are always very nice and helpful when you need assistance. They have a parking spot reserved for Purple Heart recipients and a couple spots for veterans which is a nice. I always get my 10% veterans discount which is a nice perk.

I purchased a 24 inch range along with a new gas line cord
when delivery came they had no paperwork.. I was missing the
gas line when I called the store Kim said she would have it sent
right away, my installer came the next day and still no gas line..
This is a rental property and I don't have the time for errors..
called the store again asked Kim to refund the item and my
installer will get it elsewhere..

Do not Ever Ever Ever buy something from Lowes that they are installing!!!!!!
My daughter had problems with them cancelling and rescheduling several times with her new washer and dryer. My dad had the same problem getting his new oven installed. I should have listened to them! I purchased and paid for the installation of a new kitchen light and fan. After having them cancel and reschedule four times, I am still waiting for installation! Who knows if it will ever get done! Typical Lowes, I enjoy shopping here. Employees mostly competent and friendly.
I have had some issues with ordering online for pick up in the store. A pick-up notice doesn't necessarily mean that your order ready for you to PICK UP. Several of my orders, I've had to wait for an employee to PICK UP my order from somewhere in the store and bring it up front so I could PICK it UP. Just found great value on the vanity and sink condo for the bathroom. True in the Delavan Lowes was so helpful checking the product for us and helping us find the perfect fit for our small bathroom! Very friendly and willing to take the time to sort out the best products for us, how refreshing!
