Oh no 0Dec 28, 2022Previous reviewAttempted to get lunch Tuesday 12/27/22. Not a car to be seen in the lot and signs at the drive up order menu saying " inside only ordering ". The place was not open and I don't think it's been open for months. Another fatality??? Still have a location another 8 miles down the road if I get a hankering and I'm in the Collinsville area.

Prices have increased since my last visit, there isn't really anything less than $10 for a couple pieces of fish and fries with drink.
Depending on who the cook is makes a huge difference on the products final quality. I have gotten fish that reminded me of my younger days eating here and then I have also gotten something that resembled a battered piece of fish but was not edible from being over fried and left under a heat lamp.
This place is more nostalgic to me than a need for a meal. I would miss it if it were to ever close.
I will be back occasionally.

they would get them for sure. Not sure what to even think or say further other than don't go and waste your money. Even got chicken, which I dining order, in place of some of the fish. Speechless!!

A piece of guttering has fallen down on the front of the building and the owner is evidently too cheap to fix it. It's a wonder that service is falling off. The owner doesn't care who would some of the workers?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

By the time the last person (party of 3) got their food the first person was boxing their lunch. I Ordered grilled shrimp but served me breaded. Asked if they would exchange it, they said I had to pay for it. Not a good visit to say the least.

Food was terrible ,after two tries the fish was full of grease, breading was like mush, fries greasy don't want to tell you about the hush puppies, change the grease, that might help, check temp on fryers.

Matthew P.Washington, DC3023955May 13, 2014First to ReviewWhat can I say it's a fast food place. The only difference between this long John Silvers and any other one is that it's close to my house. Every once in a while I get a craving for their batter dipped chicken that cannot be satisfied with any replacement so I'm forced to come here and get their amazing chicken. Sure it's greasy and it takes a while to get your food but it's the same Long John Silvers chicken of my youth and I enjoy it. The staff is always courteous and polite and make the wait a little more enjoyable.

I am sure it is partially due to the layout of the drive thru ordering screen vs. The window. They can only take and prepare one order at a time. The inside of this location is greasy!
