This green belt is for those who really enjoy being surrounded completely by nature while hiking on a very narrow primitive path. You can ride a bike through here, but you will be ducking the branches. There is no parking lot so you'll need to park down Norwood Hill Rd just off Springdale. There are some apartments close to the trail, but otherwise, you are basically alone in the woods. The dominant tree in these woods is primarily cedar, so you may wish to avoid during Cedar fever season. The primitive trails continue on into the woods for quite some ways in case you're looking for some natural paths to explore. Be sure to wear long pants and rugged shoes. Fortunately, I did not find any homeless encampments on the property. The photos included will give you greater insight.
