Often there are so many people calling at one time it can be difficult to get through. Just hang up, wait a few minutes and try again until you get through. Reservations for week nights are easier. They recommend calling a week to 2 weeks in advance… more

Wow, what a meal! I loved it all from the big bowl of chips and spicy salsa to the cheese enchiladas with pinto beans (not refried) and rice. I knew I was in Tulsa but thought I was in Santa Fe. Highly recommended.

Since it's St. Paddy's weekend we felt like some Santa Fe style Mexican food and it was a hit....we got there right at 11am when they opened so it was also a private dining experience.

Everything looked fantastic on the menu but we shared the combination dinner and added a soft taco...we also got the appetizer of three chorizo floutas but we ate thise fast and they were great....

very fresh and I don't know how one person could eat this delicious deluxe combination
      dinner...

we got churro and some sopapillias with honey butter...both made fresh to order and amazing.

The Bloody Maria was a really great drink...give it s try it's a cool little spot with some good food and friendly staff. Whoever the bartender is did a grest job on thr drinks.

Downtown behind Yokozuna across from Arnies bar...

Hello Yelpers!!!!! I'm not going to straight up bash these guys, the service was great, fast for a Togo order. I will admit that I got there 3 minutes after they opened so they weren't busy. I order the combination plate and a frozen mezcal Paloma. The drink is good, can't say that the combo plate was all that but it was bad. Flavor was good not great, I rather enjoyed the chips and salsa. I definitely liked atmosphere and the drink, if I come back here to visit I'll probably just have drinks. Thanks guys

P.s. this dish isn't $14.50 like yelp said it was. $24.50 was the damage

Pretty good New Mexican food in downtown Tulsa. Came by on a Sunday night and it was busy but there were a few tables still available. Service seemed a bit mixed as we encountered one friendly server and one who was a bit colder, but they were busy so I get it.

Portions are HUGE here. Glad my friend and I shared a combination plate, 1 sopapilla, a kale & pine nut salad. The free chips it comes with are huge lol but chips were a bit too hard and thick for our preference.

Everything tasted pretty good. Recommend if you're in the area and want to try New Mexican food not to be confused with Mexican.

I felt like I stepped off the street and immediately into a Grecian-Mexican restaurant. The fire places at either corner of the restaurant added the coziest ambience to whisk us inside and out of the cold tulsa tundra. We nestled in with bowls of soup and flautas. The chips and salsa had a bit of a kick which warmed us up even more. The salsa was eerily smokey and unique to this place, you can tell it's homemade.

Two reasons this place is getting 4 stars is because of the service and absolutely awful 'spicy' margaritas we ordered. I think the bar keep was in training; we watched as the bartender walked another girl through recipes and helped her make the drinks. The spicy margarita was straight lime juice and basically undrinkable, also not 'spicy'. Note to the restaurant: PLEASE have new bar keeps try the drinks via the straw method because it was bad. And please have your servers actually follow up with the guests and ask how their food and drinks are tasting. Once our food was served, our waiter didn't check on us, nor ask us if we needed anything. Fortunately for them because I would have sent the margaritas back if he had asked.

Despite my complaints, I would come back here. I probably just had a "one-off" experience.

Santa Fe cuisine! This was my first time trying it but it was a nice experience overall. To start, we had chips, salsa, and guacamole. So fresh and tasty! As for the food, I was in a group where we had a mix of tacos and huevos rancheros. It was good- not too spicy, though I would love to try something else in a future visit. The layout is spacious, bright, and has nice decor. Service was friendly and efficient from the time of ordering to receiving the meal. I'd recommend this as a restaurant to enjoy in downtown Tulsa.

A charming New Mexican style restaurant in the Blue Dome District with a cute rustic-modern interior that adds to the cozy, inviting atmosphere. We have been here with a large party and it is well suited for groups with ample seating for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

The restaurant offers standard Santa Fe style fare. The guacamole and chips are a consistent crowd-pleaser, setting the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. The menu features staples like elote, enchiladas, tamales and chiles relleno served with a generous portion of rice and beans, all of which I found to be tasty and satisfying.

A standout item on the menu are the sopapillas. Light, fluffy, and served with a drizzle of honey, they provide a sweet accompaniment to the meal that is simply delightful. While I don't often seek out this type of cuisine, it's a solid choice if you are downtown and in the mood for a New Mexican style meal.

      1. The place is aesthetically pleasing. It's cute and makes you feel like you aren't in Oklahoma.
      2. The server wasn't great. She rarely checked up on us, didn't ask us if we needed a refill on our drinks, and handed us the check without us asking for it and before even taking our finished plates. She didn't bother to ask us if we wanted dessert. She made us feel very rushed, and the place wasn't even full--there were many empty tables. I'm hoping this isn't what she is like with everyone.
      3. My boyfriend and I got the "Chorizo Flautas" as an appetizer. They were very delicious. For entrees, we both got the "burrito plate." The best way I can describe it is flavorless and soggy. For dessert, we got the flan, and it was good. Overall, we spent a total of $72 (not including tip). This place is cute for a date, but other more affordable Mexican restaurants taste WAY better.

I cannot say enough good things about La Tertulia. My husband and I have loved our experiences dining here since they opened in downtown Tulsa. My husband isn't a big Mexican food guy but he LOVES La Tertulia. Some of our favorite dishes are the Grilled Trout and the Carne Adovada. Trust us and make sure to order sopapillas on the side - they are divine!!! As far as cocktails go, we haven't tried a drink we don't like. My favorite is the Paloma and my husband loves the Old Fashioned.

The service here is always top-notch. In fact, we came in last week before seeing a show at the PAC and our reservation was running late because of the table that was seated ahead of us. The manager and hostesses made sure we were seated with enough time to eat and even pushed our orders to the front of the kitchen so we wouldn't be stressed getting to the show. You can tell they really care about their customers.

This place is consistently a 10/10! You have to try it!!
