La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston East I-10

We have stayed here twice: first was a 2 week stay for work. First room we were given was dirty and felt gross so we were moved to another. During this stay a child's birthday party group was placed in a room on the same floor level, and we felt/heard running and yelling late into the night. Earlier while we were in pool area I counted atleast 13 of the kids running wild, we had to leave the pool due to chaos. They trashed the pool area & when we went back the next day there was cake smashed all around the pool, the floor, table, and floating in the water, lots of trash in the bottom of the pool as well. It took THREE days for maintenance to clean up and even then it was sub par, still partially dirty.

Our most recent stay was 3 nights and we left this morning. As Diamond members we were not given our welcome packages and the one time that housekeeping came into suite all they did was make the bed, didn't bother to take out the very overflowing trash in the bins, restock supplies such as plastic cups or wipe/vacuum anything. And once again noise level was insane, kids above us jumping non stop.

I wish I could give you 20 stars! The team here is amazing. We had zero issues the entire time. The hotel is about 18 min from Houston & is super cute on the inside. They are pet friendly & that was perfect for our little family. They offer a hot breakfast each morning which was really good. & should you not want to leave for snacks or dinner they have a little market downstairs that you can purchase from!

Crystal and Tim went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. I had baby equipment delivered and picked up and they stored it wonderfully for us w/no problems. They are super friendly. I also needed to upgrade my room because the room I reserved ended up not being big enough for the baby crib. They upgraded me immediately and the price change was super cheap. The buffet breakfast was soo yummy and the variety of breakfast foods was great. There are staff that were constantly cleaning the stations up and actually there was just staff in general everywhere keeping the place clean. The only little hiccups would be that the room was missing one remote and the other needed new batteries. Absolutely no big deal. If I ever go back to Texas, this is where I'm staying. Soo worth the price and not crazy expensive either. Thank you very much.

Best stay I've ever had while on the road and that says a lot for someone like myself who's always traveling. For starters the service was super friendly and courteous. The lobby is inviting and spacious with plenty of sitting and beautifully decorated.
The room was clean, my linen smelled like sunshine. The bathroom was spotless. Needless you say, I slept like a baby and so did my fur babies.

Super friendly staff easy accommodating ! I had a last min emergency and was able to schedule a stay within 5 minutes !

Rooms are really nice and clean. Hotel is a new location so everything is new. Pool is inside and well maintained. Outside patio with multiple gas grills for cooking on. The owner/manager is a hoot and was joking around with us in the lobby and outside. Very friendly and welcoming place to stay.
